Three character system was put in at the end of era 47 and pretty much fucked the game a few era's later the game is almost dead........ wonder what will come next.

People wonder why the game is dead simply put the community was literally the only thing holding the game together and probably the rivalry between FATE + FEAR vs VU. Without that vu fell into the pit of darkness that is the game we have now.
The fact remains that there is no longer a backbone. With players holding the ability to be anonymous they fear no backlash from the community. Simply put the game is now geared for players to cheat, backstab and to win by any means necessary. Players that have no business being titled as era winners are being labeled equals to the greats of the past.
VU Newcomers (if there are any) will now believe that the winners of the lower worlds held equal ability to the winners of those like Roxbury, Elsin, Sparker and many more. I will look back and be able to say I watched the greats of the past become equal to the garbage of the present.
I've played with some of the best in the game and some of the worst. I've won a few times and probably lost just as many. I've had great times in the worst moments stayed up endless hours and went days without sleep. I've watched greats come and go. I've watched the "Old Guard" begin to step aside as the "New Guard" fills their shoes..........
Will we be enough to keep the flame of the past alive. As time moves forward each moment of what was the end of the greatest time in VU moves farther and farther into the past I can only hope that the game most of us have grown to love and hate will be remembered for the greatness that it once held.
