Mr. Zenhouseofshoes

Lived in Era 12 and got 1 heir(s) (Shoes II).

Mr. Shoes has an unknown history, other than he and his mysterious monks served King Nathan Rahl while he ruled over the Imperial Knights of Dhara.

He was first seen walking out of woods by a river carrying a very light walking stick that never seemed to fully connect with the ground.

His style of calligraphy, which he used to communicate with others through sealed scrolls, does not imply that he was born of any known native or foreign land.

One interesting note is that he supposedly would put his homemade mocassins on before entering buildings, and take them off when leaving.

Many ancient writings from various lands, some still yet to be deciphered from unknown languages, have been found in many archaelogical digs near or in ruins of Mr. Shoes's Zen Temples. Also were many relics and historical artifacts found, including an intact and seemingly unbreakable diamond vial of liquid that still is unknown of origin and content, as it is sealed tightly-closed by a strange, potent force, though it is said to be what is left of the mythological Oil of Galaxy-Weaving from obscure local legend. The Museum of Dhara, located in Fenster, has declined many offers from collectors from across the land for the item.

This is all that is known about the bewildering character, as Mr. Shoes never once managed to show his face or foggy past with any known mortal whatesoever.

Although he signed most every writing as Mr. Shoes, he quickly aquired the handle "Zen House of Shoes" by claiming that he WAS his very temples and monasteries!

There have been few battles recorded between Mr. Shoes' trained monks and any enemies of the Kingdom, though history has never implied in any form that they fought offensively.

It is, however, rumored that he consistently drank a LOT of ale, wine, and sake. With such an unstable and shadowy past, it's no surprise!

Viceroy Shoes II

Lived in Era 13, got 1 heir(s) (Unknown) and was a member of The Imperial Knights of Dhara

Viceroy Shoes the Second, son of the philisophical sage Zen House of Shoes, is said to have been the downfall of the obscure Shoes lineage. Most artifacts now on display at local and world museums from the Era 12 Shoes Temple debris after the End of the World were actually sold on the local market by Shoes II to fund the building of the family Winery, which in turn generated the funds over time to build new Temples, of which were more focused on attaining riches than of studying arts passed down in the family line for eons.

There seems to have been a great deal of anger towards various Kingdoms, as his father's death was blamed on various almost random figureheads. Though a recent find that recovered Zen House of Shoes' body, which had been perfectly preserved over time, shows that he may have merely died in a very deadly drinking game of sorts. Mysteriously, several pounds of precious uncut gems were found lodged in his digestive tract.

It is said that the Shoes bloodline obsession with death and war started with the angry and greed-filled teachings of Viceroy Shoes the Second, as is apparent with his offspring, the infamous Shoes III, in the 14th Era.

It is not until much later in history do we see the enlightened and peaceful nature of the Shoes surname redeem itself, as the family history takes a deep and dark twist for a number of ages.

Sir Unknown

Lived in Era 13, got 1 heir(s) (Unknown) and was a member of Hellspawn

There are unfounded rumors that a lone heir seperated the bloodline between Shoes II and Shoes III, though very little is known beyond local lore. The clearest of myths seems to also be the most far-fetched, which often times history has proven extraordinary tales seem to have their own momentum, though surely there are some facts these wild curiosities were once based on. Supposedly, Shoes II had a ceremonial affair with an apprentice, the infamous dark demi-goddess of chaos from certain obscure myth known only as [translates to 'random' from ancient tongue], though much of this and the unknown child is thought to have arisen due to the ghastly design of Shoes II's later habitat, Hell Forge, as well as his torture practices against law-breaking peasants. While there were many unclaimed children of Shoes II, it is thought that, at most, the target of this particular tale was a sibling in part to Shoes III, especially given the time frame. However, on a side note, it is of another particularly complex myth that Shoes III dabbled in time travel, though obviously not a very popular one.
