Family History
Lady Chandara
Lived in Era 13, got 1 heir(s) (Darchan) and was a member of Peacekeepers
Chandara was born to exiled royalty. Her Father was King of the great land of Naemaris.
Chandara's father had ruled with kindness. Too much kindness. He lacked the ability to discern his enemies. Thus the fall of his kingdom. He was betrayed by a man he called "friend".
Chandara's youth was filled with stories of her Father and his great wisdom and compassion. Her brothers taught her all they knew and remembered about their past.
Her father, King Dargatan was killed during the battle that ended in their exile. He fought side by side with his army to defend his land and his family. That was 15 years ago.
A year before we start our story, her brother Dirgsha left to explore a new region. He had heard rumors of a land very far away that was beautiful beyond belief. He wanted to find this land. He wanted a land for his family to settle and return to their former glory.
Chandara knew her brother would return soon. She anxiously awaited his coming.
Chandara was taught to fight and to always be on the alert for spies. Their family was still in some danger from the rebels and wizards that took over their lands.
Chandara's mother encouraged her to hone her skills. She would send Chandara out in the forest on quests, practicing survival skills. Her brothers trained her in hand to hand combat. She learned to climb a mountain and hide in the forest. She learned to track and hunt... Climbing, walking, running, and archery kept her ready for her brother Dirgsha's return. ...........................................
1 year and 6 months later, Dirgsha returned with news. He spoke of a- far land called Mantrax. " The land is open and water is plentiful!! We must get there soon. I met a man who has invited us to join the Kingdom he has already established. He Kingdom is called PeaceKeepers."
Their mother became very ill as they were preparing for the journey. Chandara, Dirgsha, Taish, and Johan knew that their mother would never be able to make the journey. Their mothers last words to them would always ring in their hearts. "Remember your Father, remember his kindness, but learn from his mistakes. Always have caution. Be wise as a serpent and strong as an ox. Never, ever forget that you are the Children of A King!"
Finally, the day had come to start their journey... They looked with sadness on the small home they had shared with their mother. Saying goodbye was not easy... but they were filled with excitement about the future.. .................... what would it hold for them in this Kingdom of the PeaceKeepers?
Many months later after a very difficult journey they arrived in the promised lands. The King of PeaceKeepers Rothgar Negus The Second, welcomed them just as he had promised Dirgsha. He alloted some land to them and promised more if they were able to work the land and bring a profit to the Kingdom.
King Rothgar warned of unrest on his borders. Chandara and her brothers advised the King of armies they had seen far to the NorthWest.
They told of villages they had passed through that had been burnt and pillaged. Villagers had told them stories of an evil tyrant that allowed no one around him to be independent. His motto is "Join or die".
Chandara's family started building a city. The city is called Wayward. Seeing the need for further expansion and a location closer to water. They built two more cities in the bend of the river and in the shelter of a nearby forest.
One night without warning those cities were attacked by a distant neighbor. His name is Sir Truefailure. His Kingdom is called "TED". One of the PeaceKeepers enemies.
King Rothgars loyal sidekick Viceroy Saereth II was there within a short time. His men fought bravely and won back the cities.... Great damage was done. The surviving peasants were discouraged but brave.. Willing to try again. Chandara owes her allegiance to her King and to Viceroy Saereth.
Then came rumors of another attack... from the Kingdom called WAR.... and the story continues.............
