Shadowbane King Feliscar

The Legend of Feliscar begins before his birth. A great nation of theocracy was founded, the nation of Solazul. It had faced many challenges, but no such adversity tested the mettle of the people of Solazul than the great Dragon Wars.

The Dragon Wars lasted for over 500 years. And when the Azulites thought that the foe had finally been defeated, that all dragons were hunted down, one dragon was planning a final invasion from afar.

Resfar, the greatest of the red dragons, attacked the capital city Solaris and was met by the Archknight, the military champion and leader, Caniscar.

Caniscar pursued Resfar until he, with the help of Stelanthor, his friend, slew the beast. But the dark soul lived on and possessed a powerful wizard. Caniscar led the forces of Solazul to the Draconian Isles where the armies of Resfar waited. The armies clashed but eventually the Azulites emerged victorious.

Convinced, however, that Solazul could not be safe from the monster's influence, Caniscar sought passage to the Dragon Hell to destroy the spirit of Resfar and end his very existence.

He did, against the warning from Sagern, the Archmage and prophet, eventually go to the cold dark shadow realm and destroyed Resfar, but only after calling upon the aid of a mysterious force of shadow.

This force was Shadrax, the Shadow Dragon. Shadrax, a being of spirit, and Caniscar, a man of flesh and bone, merged to create a single dark being known as Shador.

Shador had but one goal, to destroy the people of the Almighty God, the Azulites. Turning the shining city of Solaris to ashes, Shador failed to kill the king's heir to the throne, Feliscar.

Now, called by the Great Almitar, the Holy God of Solazul, Feliscar seeks to save his people and to restore the once great nation.

Feliscar restored a nation, fought off hordes of enemies that would have his Utopia burned to the ground. But in the end he prevailed. But however, his success was short lived. After a great reign over the Swords of Wrath, a new era arose and the great king died in his Heavenly City of Zion.

But his best friend Kerith took up the throne in hopes to rebuild the once great city. But one night that great destroyer, Shador, returned to destroy all that Feliscar had fought for. Kerith battled Shador in the dark forests near the Kingdom simply called Holy. Shador revealed his darkest weapon, the Sword of Thorns. But armed with the original Sword of Wrath which founded the kingdom of Feliscar, Kerith had a chance.

Metal clashed and the champions were locked in an epic battle, tearing through the forests, slicing down great oaks with every missed swing, and creating scars in the land that to this day remain. Eventually Kerith grew tired, but Shador was gifted with his union of the Shadow Dragon in an unwavering resolve. Shador eventually overpowered Kerith and shattered the Sword of Wrath into pieces. The dark Knight then mercilessly beheaded Kerith.

But now that the line of kings to Solazul was broken, Shadrax had no need to be one with Caniscar and sought to purge Caniscar's soul from his own body. An internal war began. No one quite knows how, but eventually Caniscar drove the spirit of Shadrax out.

Caniscar now seeks to undo his sins, starting with rebuilding the Zion that Feliscar had once ruled.

After a long silence from the ancient rulers of Solazul, one heir rises from the unknown, a new Shadowbane King. Canis, the decedents of Talis (or Fang), finally accepts his calling to follow the great legend of his forefathers.

The mighty knight, known as Feliscar, always avoided power and sought only to serve his kingdom of Solazul as a simple knight. But fate soon led him down a different road defending the Archking Cyrus against terrible foes full of deceit in their hearts. The king was assassinated and the prince became the youngest Archking to ever rule upon the throne at age fifteen.

Worried that further conspiracies against the crown would arise, Feliscar gathered a group of outcasts to secretly defend Solazul against enemies who shroud their plots in darkness. He was only known as the Shadowbane King of the Night Crusaders, a mysterious band of warriors that hunted down shadowy schemers and plotters that would do harm against all that is good and right.
