production honestly means nothing.. he can make nothing and have no army upkeep but it all be in cities. he can manipulate it easy.

btw the way you are missing a comma is total tree production :)

churros you are doing what we call rain bowing. What happens is that you put more than one type of production into a city. as a result of a economic curve the game starts to decrease the amount each structure produces as you gain more. As a result instead of having lets say 30 mines that make 10 gold per tick you have 10 farms making 10 food, 10 lumbermills making 1 wood and 10 mines making 2 gold.

As a result the best strategy is to actually build one city of pure mines, one of pure wood and one of pure food. you get the most out of each in turn. because if you had 3 cities with 10 farms, mills and mines you would be getting 60 food, 60 wood, 60 stone and 60 gold.

now you have 3 cities without rain bowing you have one city with 30 farms making 4 food. giving you 120 food, one with lumber making you 120 wood, one with mines making you 120 stone and gold.

So i recommend designating each city a purpose and SLOWLY demolish the other buildings.
