We had no alliance , your KD mate , thinking i was a new player , threatened to kill me if i did not join you. Then you messaged me offering peace. I did not reply. You'll see i said nothing disrespectful in our original messages.

Yes, he said he'd have to kill you because that's what I told him. However, you didn't actually reply to him and out of the good of his heart he must've assumed you'd realise we're not your enemy so he went to fight VUE then several days later you started moving armies around, so he started pumping gaia.

Barny, thats assuming a clear victor emerges. Both sides still have very powerful armies and cities. Unless things have changed, which they may have, I see shots being taken back and forth with little ground being gained.

That will probably be the case, I'm hoping for lots of army slaying and city burning. I have 500k Peasants and an s9 66k that fully blocks and can become a 200k.

I think Halfling day 10 120k Pony Rider attack is really strong (Tested this on Zetamania after talking to Binh about it when I came back to the game, did it round 2 GvE, I hope Random does something like this and attacks The Collective etc) but there's really no way to take a 66k/200k that blocks and has hundreds of thousands of units and the housed Swordsman 3 OP.25-.4~ food a tick upkeep matches up really well vs the 4 DP 3-4 gold a tick upkeep Pony Rider.

I'm surprised more people don't make fully blocking 200ks but city placement is hard I guess.

Also you can just build a future 200k up to 78401 for overmax walls/s9 prep time and full block then drop it back down to 66k for a 200k land-drop.

Yes we are content attacking anyone and everyone. We're not going to go around a kingdom to get in on some people already warring. We're going to war those around us first. We recruited one player who was also playing solo, what of it?

you complain about the dumbest things. From our perspective, Measuring Stick has been there a while, they have around the same amount of land as I do.

Rora, I'm not going to make excuses or complain, but at the same time please dont try to make this sound like an even fight. Your orcs and trolls have about the same land totals as my halfling and your halfling has a good chunk more land than my my halfling.

Its VU wars happen. Often times they are not balanced. Personally I like the odds against me. Keeps things exciting.

Sorry, I know its not even. We do have more land and we do have more numbers, I also know for a fact you personally have been fighting already. We're only warring you because you're right there. It wouldn't make much sense for us to go start another war when we'll have one with you later.

The point is we're not just attacking oop players and those that are rebuilding. We're going to try and get rid of that future threat before we go starting other wars.

Not everyone is a future threat. You could go war the people actually the same strength as you and NAP / simply CF those around you who pose no threat to you. But then again , you guys aren't too good at the game so i guess us little guys are threats to you. Judging by the weak stuff im seeing so far i can see why you picked us as your targets :P

First time i've seen a 6/7 man kingdom sneak attack a one man kingdom. Things was that bad you needed the element of suprise too?

The problem i have with it is they are doing EXACTLY what i did last era. But when i did it they said it was 'traitorous vile acts' but here they are doing the same.

I attacked the ONLY kingdom within a days march for mounted troops who i had NO relations with who had previously threatened to kill me and im a traitor. Attack a kingdom 10 times my size that day 30 or so into the era when im just OOP and im a coward.

But attack a cluster of small kingdoms after sneak attacking a one man kingdom and you are a fearsome warrior. its the double standards that are annoying. Don't complain about someone doing something if you are going to do the same , even worse , the next era. You just end up looking stupid.

In all fairness i have no real opinion of you. Your decent at the game , you just don't seem to be able to see that you are effectively doing the same thing i did to you. And when someone hits you with a suprise attack it sucks , and if you think im arrogant thats fine.

But neither of these things means i betrayed you. When MAL can just accept no one betrayed them , they did not see an attack coming from me because of how small i was and got suprised. Its not even like i won the suprise attack on you so I don't see why your so adamant with your story of being betrayed.

Someone with NO relations with you attacked you...No one betrayed you. Infact when it first happened you guys didn't even say i betrayed you.

My magic use was nearly over , couldn't cast any real meaningful spells and had a bunch of new MT's and mages already being trained who all came out this morning , so thought i might aswell burn the few i had left out of boredom :P

I think you've nearly found the key. only nearly though. We didn't fail to kill you, we succeeded in that actually. We just failed to defend ourselves against everyone else.

They key though.. Yes were civil about your sneak attack, that wasn't the end of the world, it didn't get you anywhere. It was simply your attitude that turned things around. That is the key to why everyone in this kingdom seems to dislike you very much, mostly everyone anyways.

No more needs to be said on the matter, it simply is what it is.

It's not the element of surprise that aggrovates me. It's that you didn't even care to reply to the peace offering after several days and then attacked. It's that Dragon could have just killed you to begin with and none of this nonsense would be going on.

Sure, we somewhat did that to you this era.. Although it's not quite the same, You messaged me too late. He attacked you oop and you intended to fight him anyways if he didn't reply. Whereas we suspected you were new to the game before, so we weren't so quick to kill you.

I messaged you too late , however i messaged barty before dakarta even settled his cities. I also messaged dakarta TWICE and he ignored them both which is why when i messaged to you i stated i was going to attack him if he didn't reply. I messaged him before he even started building asking him not to build here. Ask Dakarta and bartimaeus yourself.

I sent barty a long , RP message which i suspected he did not thumbs up :P saying that i meant no disrespect by leaving the kingdom , would not attack any of you guys and was only leaving because we was landed in different spots. He ignored the message.

I then messaged Dakarta and he ignored my message.

Then , because you had seemed the most civil last era , i decided to message you. I did not threaten to attack him in the messages i sent him and barty. It was after him ignoring me and me realising he was clearly stalling i said i would attack.

The way I see it a lot of complaining in this thread is invalid. VU is a wargame, being the strongest kingdom is the goal and killing your enemy kingdoms is the means. Sure there is an element of chance (dice), but you hedge your odds by seeking favorable battles and avoiding unfavorable ones.

Last era Malificent fought well vs it's enemies and VUE (rip) + DB (still here) and it was an interesting era. This era Malificent is still on the map, and we have the really solid newer group of players that played on Zetamania and Valhalla with Aisha so it should be pretty fun.

trust me, I was able to get back to our core and kill a few other armies before they did damage.

The only reason they did damage is because we couldn't launch a counterattack because they always had another army on the way to us. Poly as well was quite persistent.

You did alright though, just don't be so *beep*y about it.

All in all it was a fairly balanced game, with Anon and Barney of course being victors lol.

From 'you did alright though' to 'you ran away all era'.

Interesting. Is there an academy for these U turns or is it all natural skill?

Last era on Valhalla I came to SS blocker, there were 350k troops inside, I had 34% at full prep, got bless and happiness that got me to 41% and I killed them all, pretty much turned the tide in that war, if I had lost it would take much longer. The post by Aisha was as how close the roll went even if she did have high chance.
