And Colorado has legalized marijuana.... hurray!!!

Imo good that obama won, gives him a chance to actually fullfill his goals/promises. Hope they won´t be able to block him every step of the way this time around.

Ever since they re-elected that idi0t Bush, I always though the people in USA are not the brightest... But looks like they are coming to a better path now, good luck with Obama, he is a good man. Much better than the other candidate by far.

Unfortunately, both American political parties congressional delegations are owned by the international corporations.   It will make little difference who the USA elects.

Thats why the USA presidential system kinda sucks, like a lot of other systems in the USA...

True, the parties might not always be better, tho the likelyhood is greater when theres more parties. And if one of the parties fails people just vote on another one they like or think is better than the others.

Also our "senate" can´t be held up and forced to just sit around debating without getting anything done.

The economy is going to collapse just like it did during the great depression.

The average american is so narrow minded, spoiled, and they have their head up their buttocks hole. For lack of a better word.

They think that everything they see in the media about disasters and war won't ever happen to them. That they are safe. And all they need in their pantry are a couple weeks worth of food at the most.

But when the crap hits the fan, like it did in 1929, I wouldn't want to live anywhere near a city.

Think of all the looting that will happen in places like Dallas Texas, New York City, Las Vegas. There will be a rush to the grocery stores as soon as people hear about our government going bankrupt. Enemy countries buying up USA land, and moving in foreign troops. The stores will be cleaned in a few minutes. And then once people realize that all the food is gone, that their kids will starve, that their wife could be killed from other looters. Then you really go into panic mode. The survival rule of thumb is: 3 hours without shelter, 3 days without water, 3 weeks without food. Do you honestly think that if you have 2 or 3 kids and a wife, that you can supply water to all of them, and get them out of a city alive, without being shot at? You couldn't just casually walk to the outskirts of a city as big as New York, or Dallas. You would have to move very stealthily. Dodging road blockades, looters, and many other obstacles. It could take you days, trying to get out of an area like that.

Lets say you do get out of the city alive, what then? Where are you going to go from there? If all of your family lives across the states, what then? all the roads will likely be jammed up, and their wont be any gas to speak of.

People need to wake up to the reality of the lifestyle they are living. You are depending on obama to take care of all your needs with wealthcare, and obama care. You think homeland security will do sh!t for you? Do you think all of the disaster relief shelters are going to have enough food to support you for more then a couple days? And if you have even the slightest intelligence, you will realize that the government has no money, every single thing you own doesn't belong to you. Because it was all bought with debt (the dollar bill) and that the dollar bill isn't backed by anything. It isn't backed by gold or silver any more. Just Debt. How hilarious is that? Everything you own isn't even yours. Who is going to collect those trillions of dollars that we owe to other countries?

Some people will think that other countries are going to bail us out. That the UN will help us if the economy goes bad. Yeah, they will help us. They will move their troops in, take control of the government. And we won't be free men anymore. We will be a military state. A nation controlled by the masses of troops. Sound familiar? Hitlar? Communism? 

They will bring in troops, mow down citizens. Because they know they can't take chances. They know that there are tons of guns owned by US citizens. I wouldn't take chances at being shot at if i were a foreign soldier trying to bring control to a rioting mass of people.

And once they do gain control, what are they going to do with everyone? Move them to concentration camps. There are already hundreds of them built in the US, from the korean war and cold war era's. They would just utilize those camps. All of your rights would be stripped from you, and you wouldn't have any where to go anyways. They would send you to work.

And what happens if a concentration camp runs out of food? the soldiers have to eat. They certainly wont feed you if you are in a camp. You starve.
Then people start killing each other. We resort to cannibalism.

 
Every thing i have said so far has happened in the past. JUST LOOK AT HISTORY. And don't think it can't happen again! People need to wake up to the reality of how fragile this government is. How fragile we live as well.
People think things like this can't happen. Or it won't happen to them. But i think people should be prepared for high probability and high impact situations. There is a high probability that this country will go bankrupt, and someone is going to have to collect on that debt. And certainly without regard to human life. JUST LOOK AT HISTORY!

What if Germany finds out that we have used all their gold they had stocked up in our bank vaults? They haven't heard a report from the banks for a very long time. And they are getting anxious. What if they decide to go to war with us, because America spent their 80 billion dollars worth of gold bullions.  I sure would if i were Germany. And if they don't want to war us. Then we would have to sell them something back in return. And guess what America owns that actually has any value anymore. The only thing that could pay off our debt. Land. Germany would have to be compensated somehow.

Germany buys land, and moves in foreign troops... The US/Germany citizens don't like it. They start killing each other. guerrilla warfare? civil war? What happens if nukes are thrown in the mix? Good God. You might think i am crazy, but at least i am not blind.

people dont see that extreme stuff happening because it is extreme. But it has happened in the past. and there is a high probability for it happening again.

But your scenario would happen even if Romney got power, only diffrence is he would spend all the money the US doesnt have on invading other countries instead of investing in the people.

You know the reason why the Soviet Union collapsed? They spent to much on the military and to little on their own populations needs. Same thing is happening to the United States of America. I sorta think its to late, Bush basically fucked up at a crucial point in time. Obama has a chance to rectify it but only if the republicans accept higher taxes and cuts in military expenditure.

The question is what the american population wants, honor or a roof over their heads. But i actually think a revolution is needed and that country rebuilt from the start. You got democracy when the world wasnt ready for it and it has bit you in the ass(it has gone downhill devolution style).

Btw. Why would Germany declare war when the US already spent all of their money? If you already spent it there is nothing to gain from invading. Thankfully i think the german population would never agree to such a thing.
