Petition to Reset Zetamania
08:58:33 Mar 13th 13 - Mr. Enky:

Well, as it's been pointed out by most of the active players of the server, the vast majority of the community (I think it was 22 against 3) accepted to reset it without having to wait for the Arma to happen, but the automatic reset has been cancelled because of a bug well known by everyone...

I write this in a different thread, because I'm aware that admins must have much to do, and shouldn't be expected to review every little thread.

So, if it's possible, many of us would be very grateful if you, gods of this Visual Utopia reseted Zetamania ;)

11:16:50 Mar 13th 13 - Mr. Desert Ranger:

You should probly just message ZeTa directly.

11:22:26 Mar 13th 13 - Mr. Desert Ranger:

Actually never mind, I did it.

11:44:07 Mar 13th 13 - Pure (Sir Josh Reed):

Why cant you just be patient? There is/was no need to pester zeta to end the era, Arma has been cast, a few people obviously want to finish killing you lot as 1/4 of the map isnt even owned by the forsaken/beo allegiance.

12:39:28 Mar 13th 13 - Mr. Desert Ranger:

Because Arma should have happened already. This is just ridiculous: Currently 29 people want the age to end, 6 do not, and 0 people have not voted.

12:42:02 Mar 13th 13 - Pure (Mr. The Better Half):

Mate its only 7 days, chill out, learn to be patient and accept the fact that the system doesnt work the way YOU want it to work.

12:51:40 Mar 13th 13 - Mr. Desert Ranger:

No, it's got nothing to do with me. The system doesn't work the way it's SUPPOSED to work. That's the problem. :P

13:06:17 Mar 13th 13 - TheBornLoser (Mr. The Great Satan):

There is no bug.

Arma automatically activates if there is >50% yes vote with less then 2 no votes (so yes, only one no vote - confusing isn't it?). Any more no votes then that and Arma runs the full gauntlet of days needed for it to go off.

This .... "system"... does two things.

First, it prevents a hijack of the era using the Arma option. If Arma always instant-ends with a majority vote, then it is so easy to screw up eras - just cobble together a majority of the players, and if you are losing, cast Arma, and jam up your opposition's victory. Heck, the casting kingdom may even have a player farm to #1 - the instant Arma ends then works in the casting kingdom's favour.

Second, the 10 days gives any dissenters the opportunity to destroy the Arma city. 6 players do not want Arma to take place? OK, you have 10 days to stop it then. That is of course, if they can beat the majority who want Arma to take place.

Don't like this system? Then make sure your kingdom kills off ALL opposition then. That way, the only people voting will vote yes - because there is no one else left to kill, or because they are tired of getting killed and want a fresh era to start.

This is the system as it is. Play within it. Or know how to make use of it. You have no right to mold it to how YOU want it to be. We all have ideas as to how the game should work, but if the admin were to adopt all our ideas, this game is going to be a mess.

And finally, what is wrong with a 10 day coffee-break? You addicted to this game or something? Some time away from the game will be good every now and then.

"Mate its only 7 days, chill out, learn to be patient and accept the fact that the system doesnt work the way YOU want it to work"

Lol, are we talking about a game or RL?
As Mr Desert Ranger says, the fact that the World is not reset yet, is because of a bug.

Yeah, being patient could be an option, but there's the alternative of politelly asking the administrators to give us a hand and accelerate de proccess... We're not demanding anything, just asking. If they don't want to satisfy us, OK, no prob; and if they do: great, fun and another Era will start... it's worth the try

13:27:36 Mar 13th 13 - Pure (Pure Better Than Rox):

Read what TBL said m8.

Also I dont want the era to end just yet. See the problem? I want the era to continue going so I can kill you, you want it to end as you dont want to face the same fiery death ferakin did.

13:31:14 Mar 13th 13 - Mr. Desert Ranger:

TBL, since when has it been like that? I've played plently of eras where Arma has ended the world when over 50% have voted yes, reguardless of how many voted no. Hell, one time I was playing, went to bed and woke up the next day and the world had ended and most people haddn't even voted. :P

14:12:02 Mar 13th 13 - Mr. Enky:

Ok, you have your point, we have ours, it's clear.

The difference is that they are 29, you are 6.

I don't play in Zeta, in fact I'm just a noob that arrived 1 week ago, but I wouldn't see the point on playing SOLO against 29 AFK players... You won, that's clear, I don't understand why you'd need more :S
