But when a War Vet or a unsung Hero dies, they get a snippet in some shitty newspaper that nobody reads. I don't understand how this is "breaking news". Sure, it sucks that she died, crackwhore or not nobody deserves to die. I just don't see how it's that important, more important people then her die every day, and they don't get shit, no sympathy, no medals, no "headlining news" for weeks on end. Any loss of human life is indeed tragic, but it's not so important or so depressing that it needs to be on every news channel, website, blog, etc. | ||||

Dying doesn't automatically mean people have to suddenly be nice about you if you didn't do anything to deserve it in life. Like Seven said, especially when the death of someone is paraded as a tradegy worldwide, but the person is undeserving of it. Many other people far more worthy of our respect are gone without anyone ever even knowing their name, much less giving a damn. I'm not saying she deserved to die, but just because she did it doesn't mean we should suddenly be talking about how great she was if that wasn't what we thought about her while she was alive :P | ||||
