De la Hoha is a bit bigger and stronger, with moderate speed and a good chin, but Mayweather has even more speed and is good defensively. Mayweather is unbeaten in 36 fights (24 KO) and 0 draws. De La hoya has been beaten once only by knockout, and is payed 22 mil + on previous matches, surely more on this one! 19:49:38 May 5th 07 - Mr. The Viking: Yep well their weight division is super welterweight (154) , Mayweather went one weight division up to fight De La Hoya. Calzaghe is on super middle(168) and I suspect that Calzaghe, Mikkel Kessler , and Lucian Bute who are the 3 best in suer middle and have never lost will have to fight eachother. I think mayweather will win by decision unless De La Hoya knocks him out!
20:03:00 May 5th 07 - Mr. The Viking: Edit: Actually, I'm going with mayweather... he's been trained since he was five, with a boxing life; no candy eating, no playing basketball so he would fracture his knee, he was afraid of his father.. anyway I'm going with Mayweather because he has a perfect record, and is very confident and I think will use all his willpower to beat De La Hoya if he is loosing. He is very confident unlike De La Hoya who already got knocked out once, and didin't make the effort to get up.. So if Mayweather is loosing a few first rounds, he will not let his confidence go down, and will go for the knockout even if he will be exposed to a few shots...and that he is very good and fast defensively!

21:23:33 May 5th 07 - Mr. The Viking: Hmm not sure why it is said to be the most prestigious event of all time, maybe because It's the fight in boxing history with the most viewers(not even sure)?? Even though I'm not a fan of Ali or tyson, I think it will be one of top 5 fights in boxing history mainly because of all the trash talking of mayweather and his confidence over the most known boxer in Las Vegas and the states and the most watched one in the states. Also, the 4 documentries on the fight that had an average of 4 million viewers per documentry is what I think will make it the most watched fight live!

It says that they want to beat the records of payper view of 1.99 million viewers of tyson's match and 113 million dollars us made, and also that De La Hoya said he will be training only one week after the contract has been made(6 months of preparation before the fight) and mayweather said to his coach to get ready in 2 hours to go to the gym after the contract had been made! I still wonder how come 2 judges an see something completely different in the ring.. If Mayweather retires, he's a black pussy, he talks so much and can't do beep in the ring, he slaps like a woman and can hardly knockout a good opponent. Also, He is one of the best actors in boxing!
