What defines a VU vet? im just curious.. is it how long they have played, their highest final score or the opinion of the public?

ok they, what's the amount of time played before considered a vet?? I mean iv played 28 eras.. Am I a vet??

It also of course depends on how you define a vet, in other words what the word veteran means to you.

I'd say I'm not a vet, but I too would say Rox, Elsin, Ford, Devi, Binh, Osi and others are vets.

lol i will say it again, i dont consider myself a vet, i have played longer then a small hand full of people, those people plus maybe one or 2 i consider vets, as they all have wicked skills and have no life, i so envy and feel bad for them :P

Well I have played since era 33, that must be close to or over 30 odd eras now. Though I don't really think of vet's in the game anymore as so many have left, but out of the people that still play today I think I must be one of the few people that have stuck with this game for so long.

Being a vet used to mean something, when the game was good and balanced. To have played through the early ages to mid-VU was a joy.

Anybody who hangs around playing VU still after all this time, isn't a vet. They're stupid. VU is shit, only dumb-dumbs would continue playing this garbage.

I too dont consider myself a vet, and Ive been around since era 38.

I've been playing on and off when i can since era 29? (i think thats right, i cant remember)
I may be senile but that doesnt make me a vet.

I consider myself like a semi-vet, I have been playing since era 25, and thats longer than the majority of VUs current population I think.

But this is my own lighter definition of a vet, because in my oppinion resricting vets to Rox, Elsin, Ford, Devi, Binh, Osi and others is rather extreme.
They are very good players, vets of the vets so to speak.

being vet is largely relative to who your comparing the person with, keeping in mind that the more eras that go by, the more vets there will be. so imo there, currently, are vets ( era 20-30) and then theres vets (eras 1-10).

You will be suprised how many 'vets' are still playing this game. A lot of 'vets' recreated a new acount to begin a new VU-life.
I've been around since era 13. When most people hear that i've been playing since 13 ERA'S then they think i am a vet, but i just consider myself as an experienced player.

So who's a vet and who's not i an opinion and not a fact.

people will say its how long theyve played (i myself back in era 10)

then there are those who say only skill matter, and that they are vets because they had a high score once.

There are 4 types of players in VU.



Idiots - Players who have played long enough to be considered a vet, but continue playing the game in its shit state.

Vets - Ex-players who had played long enough to be considered a vet, but quit because the game is terri-bad.

Wannabes - Players who desperately want the recognition of being a "vet". Say they've played since era 15-20. Make "vet" topics.

Scrubs - Everybody else
