i was wonderin. how long do you play before your considerd a vet?

You're a vet when you understand the game.

I am not a vet yet though I have been playing for a very long time, because I have not yet understood the full capacity of the game.

Cheaters have their own place.

People who played since the betas and still today mannage to play good can be considerd vets. if one of them joins or create a KD it will immideatly be seen as a major one and there will be loads of applications from good players is a sign of it aswell. Fred, Rox, Ates, Raist,  Draik etc.

Edit: There is no offical VU defenition of the word, and the real one is loose. So its up to each player to make up his mind about it, its trivial anyway.

vet=person who survived an era without dyeing expert=complete understanding of the game

So, if I'm getting it correctly. I was a 'vet' after my first era even though I only played it for about 10 days but I still didn't die? Wow...

So again, I guess I was a vet after my first era, huh? I joined just as the round begun and survived. :)

I think this is the truth...but I don't agree, hence I don't think of myself as a vet...

dang i started in era 15. dang. oh well. ill keep working on being a vet just like the rest of you guys

technilcly (i cant spell) a vet would be someone who survived a war. Or takes care of animals. hmmm...a vet vet?

Vet to the people who have played for awhile

I like the Vu Bot definition too. Except should add that you are only a vet if you truly are sure your a vet, and other people do too. So senturu you not a vet =P. A vet wouldn't make this thread =P.

I think anyone who's played awhile is a veteran of this game.  What matters a bit more than time played is skill.  Example, I started Era 12 and I think Rommel started Era 15 but Rommel I'll admit is a better player than I.  But only by a little. :P  It really depends on if you were taught the game by a good vet, were able to retain that knowledge and use the information wisely. I unfortunately didn't have that luxury.  I didn't have anyone to teach me the game.  I just kinda found this game and started playing it, blindly. Although I did have a few tips thrown my way from the leader of SeeD at the time, which to find out all of his tips were about azz backwards.

Um, Shal. I started up at the end of Era 11 man.

I started in era 5, but I don't feel vet-like...

I'm a lot better than I used to be.  I think the 3 member limit eras toughened me up a bit.
