We didnt attack hitler because we didnt have the troops or tanks to defeat him. if you want to blame anyone blame the french for wanting such harsh terms in the treaty ending ww1. or you know you americans could have stepped in earlier so is it your fault?

They were completely unfair to Germany and if they hadn't destroyed Germany's economy like they did and because of this the result was that Germany was extremely pissed and just needed a leader to get them to war AKA Hitler.

Euhm, and ofcourse it was so NOT right of them to be totally unfair to germany, since germany only made billions of civilians suffer in losing family members ...

the point in attemptin to ruin germanies economy is to try to prevent them from doing it all over agen. Obviously it didnt last long but stil..You have to remember who the people FIGHTING for the leader were as well. If you listen to tins the german soldiers of WWI and WWII sed ud realize that they themselves were just as bad as the leader. They'd been fueled up on propaganda etc. and rly didnt giv a fuk that they were killin innocent people lol. Also to facepalm u DO kno that america came farrr too late in both world wars and in WWI hardly sent any help at all. I admit WWII you did try to your best to help europe and you succeeded but even then it was late and only cuz the japs bombed ur harbour. So rly you guys are ALSO partly to blame.

Okay I'm about to give you all a history lesson so listen very closely.

Lots of things started WW1(arguably the stupidest war ever) but here goes.

1.Nationalism: When people of a certain country think their country is the best and could defeat the other side easily. Both sides had this  going and so they thought if they ever went to war they could win easily.

2. Imperialism: When you take over smaller countries and they become colonies and the bigger European countries get resources and markets to sell stuff on. Also the colonies get screwed over by this because they weren't very nice. Both Allies and Central Powers wanted more colonies but the only one left were owned by other European Countries.

3. Treaty System:  Both sides began to have treaties with all the countries. Britain had a treaty with France and multiple other smaller countries. France had a treaty with Russia. And Russia had a treaty with the Balkans and Britain. Germany had  a treaty with Ottoman and Austria Hungary Empire and Vice Versa.

4. Arms race: Europe's entire continent was in a giant arms race to gain more weapons etc. etc.

The Trigger:

Arch Duke Ferdinandz was the Prince of Austria-Hungary this man was the heir to the throne he was assasinated(its pretty funny how he was assasinated actually) by a man from the Black Hand. The Black Hand was an organization that was sponsored by the military(and likely the goverment to) in their home country, Serbia which might I add was in the Balkans. Ironiclly Ferdinandz supported Serbia freedom(real smart guys). Austria-Hungary understandably quite pissed began to mobilize.

Mobilization:

Austria-Hungary  sent a letter to Serbia asking for 10 points to be fuffilled if peace were to be continued. Serbia knowing full well that it had help from Russia refused and began to mobilize against Austia-Hungary. Because of this Austria-Hungary prepared to w*beep*rbia now then as I already mentioned Russia had a treaty with Serbia. So when Austria-Hungary began to mobilize Russia began to mobilize on Austria-Hungary.  But France had a treaty with with Russia so they prepared war against Germany(who had entered a state of war but not mobilization). Germany realizing its allies and itself were in trouble in Mobilized right back. The final powers to prepare for war was the Ottomans and Britain. And so the powder keg exploded.

American Help:

Before America entered the war the allies were losing BADLY the Germans were making huge gains(at least for WW1) in territory and morale had gotten so low in Allied Countries that revolts were happening in places. Russia was useless in the war. The Entente was about to lose. Untill the Americans came in and saved The Allied powers butts. Only because of the Americans did WW1 go in favor of the Allied powers.

Propoganda:

Nothing much to say about it here except that both sides had huge amounts of it(the Allied powers had more of it but only because of a larger population and lower Morale).

Treaty of Versailles:

The British and French wanted immediate gratification in the form of money  from Central Power but because Austria-Hungary and the Ottoman Empire were both gone they just put all of the debts on the Germans. Destroyed their military and murded their economy and threatened to start war against the Germans alone if they even complained about it so the Germans didn't complain. The Americans on the other hand didn't believe that this was fair in fact they wanted all the countries involved to pay a fair share. The British and French ignored this and just screwed the Germans over. This would eventually start WW2 because the Germans were pissed at the British for how unfairly they were treated so because of thi*beep*ler was able to come to power.

Final Notes:

Now then all you nubs and retarded kids the point I've been trying to prove is that Germany was most defintely treated unfairly and cruelly. In fact the Allies are slightly more at fault because the Central Powers were the one's attacked. Yet Germany took all the blame and was destroyed. And as I pointed out by this extremely long assesment Europe is filled with *beep*s.

I hope this helps all you failing history students to understand why the Germans weren't at fault but the other way around.

Ah yes thats the Bell and thats all we have time for. Next time we'll work on why the Americans stayed out of both wars for as long as possible. For those leaving give yourself a good facepalm while going out of the door for being so nubbish and trying to argue with me ^^

oh and yes everyone knows thats chamberlain. for some reason you seem to think poor little germany only got dragged into ww1 against thier will when if i remember they declare war on Russia and France and why do you think they said yes we will help you in your war against serbia. do you think they were that stupid?

Ill add to Facepalm's statement about Germany wanting revenge on Britain (he didnt mention France).  It's also funny that before WWII started, England and France were letting Germany mobilize and take over countries thinking Hitler wouldn't attack them for revenge(Woodrow Wilson predicted this after WWI).  So during WWII, Hitler decides that after he kicks France's ass quickly, he makes them sign their surrender in the same train car where the Treaty of Versailles was signed.  Then we had the Battle of Britain which was very nicely fought off by the British pilots.  D-Day was a history maker with the number of troops and ships involved.

The basic time line for WWII

France and britian declared war on germany after germany invaded poland.

The germans destroyed most of the British army leaving only the French to fight em off.

The french surrendered.

Germany tried to push into Britian. But they had to eleminate the royal air force first. They lost the battle for the skies and thus could not advance into britain.

Hitler abandoned his plan to attack Brtain and attacked his allies sthe russians.

He beat back the russians and controled half there country befor the winter came.

WHen the winter came, German troops were running short of supplies due to them being over 3 thousand miles away from home.

Never the les*beep*ler ordered the capture of stalingrad, and his troops were succesful.

About 2 months later, when the german troops were really starved of supplies and teh winter had gotten it's worst hitting -30 celsius, russian troops surrouded and seiged stalingrad.

1 month later they attacked stalingrad, took over it and 90 thousand german troops either died or surrendered.

Russians launched a counter attack, german troops were on a full retreat.

Japan, the allies of the germans attacked perol harbor.

The germans pulled back outta france

It then became France, USA and Britain in the west against Germany and the russians in the east against germany.

Germany fell.

U.S makes it's way to japan's mainland.

Sieges japans mainland

Drops the nukes

Japan fell

WWII ended.
