Training Bug |
15:08:25 Jan 23rd 10 - Mr. Graxin:
I am not certain what is going on here, but I need some incite as to whether this might be a bug, or if there is a known situation where the game mechanics cause this to happen...
Every time I train Berserkers I find that it takes the maximum amount of time to train each unit. (If it says that it take 60 days to train them and I train 500 units, all 500 will fall into the 60-100 day training period) Now, when I train any other unit, it will spread them out among the various time slots creating a sort of bell-curve with some units being done in 2-9 hours, some done in 10-19 hours and so on depening on the the unit and its training time. Last era I did not notice this issue, but I think it was happening to one of my KD mates.
Does anyone have any thoughts about this anomaly? Is anyone else experiencing the same thing? And, should I report this as a bug? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you,
Captain Graxin the Killer Viceroy of Brethren Forever

What's production like in the city you're training in?
|
15:11:41 Jan 23rd 10 - Fire Lord Yarlin The Wise:
Production in city 100%? Moral in city 100? Lower then 100 on one or both of these will cause this to happen in even the best built armories.
|
15:19:57 Jan 23rd 10 - Mr. Graxin:
The production is only 80% but the only effects my level 5 units... all others are produced normally.
|
15:42:36 Jan 23rd 10 - Praetorian Wyzer:
Well think of it in these terms;
100% Production = 100% reduction for all troops 80% Production = 100% reduction for troops up to lvl 4 60% Production = 100% reduction for troops up to lvl 3 50% Production = 50% reduction for all troops.
May be off a bit, yet that is what I recall last era with captured Arms.

Productivity does not affect Armories. The higher level troops do require more armories though.
|
02:40:47 Jan 30th 10 - Fire Lord Yarlin The Wise:
What is Zeta smoking? Since when does productivity NOT effect training times? It will not go beyond the MAX training time but it will certainly increase times in a fully built armorie if productivity is 99% or lower.
|
03:12:22 Jan 30th 10 - Mr. Rocknrolla:
backing up yarlin here.
Bad productivity causes maximum training time for all trained troops. Usually noticed when you train in a newly captured armory with low morale / productivity.

03:21:23 Jan 30th 10 - Warchief Yurnero:
They are all correct Zeta. As shown on the copy paste from my armory with 60% prod. As you can see, no increased time. However allmost every zerk is trained at 40 - 42 days exactly, where as Mages come in at an X ammount each tic.
