"You honestly think that all we've developed is kevlar? Good Lord you are a foolish one! And Admiral Wolfe and his Intelligence Service have already found out about that nugget! So if that's all you're here for, get the hell out..." said Septim with the temper his enemies had feared for many years.

[[OOC: If you'd like, and since Manwe is taking like...a million years, lets just assume he was thrown into prison for trying to kill a Captain of the Keraitian Army...you'll probably get a chance to free yourself later...]]

Yerchico was sitting at his desk when his phone rang, he picked it up.
"Hello?" asked Yerchico.
"Yerchico, this is a mutual friend. General Septim is planning a coup. He wants your spot," said a disguised voice before the phone went dead.
Yerchico sat back for a minute.
Septim is a good General, but if the man is right, I have no choice. If the man is wrong...oh well. The army is loyal to him, I must use other means.

***

Septim got up from his desk and walked through the halls to his quarters, he greeted his bodyguard with a nod before walking in. He placed several plans in his safe and proceded to lay down. After a while, he heard a noise, a noise similar to the one he heard five years before. Septim grabbed his gun and silently rolled out of bed. Looking around, he saw nothing. Suddenly, two assassins came from opposite directions with silenced automatic pistols. Septim shot one in the head before jumping behind his bed. As the assassin walked around the bed to shoot, Septim's bodyguard ran into the room and proceded to smash the assassin over the head with his KS-9 pistol.
"Took ya long enough," said Septim.
"Sorry sir," said the bodyguard.

***A few hours later***

Henry Azaria, a freelance assassin, looked up at the face of his captors. One was the man he was paid to kill, the others were soldiers.
"Who sent you?" asked Septim.
Henry remained silent, suddenly, an electric shock went through Henry's body.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" yelled Henry.
"If you tell me who sent you, I would be quite happy...I might even let you live," said Septim.
"F-AHHHHHH!" yelled Henry.
The shocking stopped and Henry breathed heavily for a few seconds.
"Okay...okay...it was...Yerchico," said Henry.
"Why would you expect me to believe that?" said Septim.
"If you untie me, I could show you," said Henry.
"Fine, boys, keep your guns on him," said Septim before a soldier untied him.
"Now, let me have those five pieces of paper you took from me," said Henry.
Septim nodded and a soldier brought Henry his paper. The assassin knelt and put them on top of one another. The letters from the transparent paper together formed a note.

Henry,
I am in need of your services once again. General James Septim is a threat to me and the people of Kerait. He must be eliminated.
-Y

"The "Y" is for Yerchico," said Henry, "I can prove it with other notes like this, I keep them so that I can blackmail my clients later..."
Septim was not listening, he recognized the handwriting, it was Yerchico...

***

Of the seven million men under Septim's command, only two million were at home, but that was enough for a coup. The Dragons were on a mission in Olkun'ut, he could not use them, so he used the army instead. The revolution had started.

***

In the capital of Kerait City, Yerchico sat. He was enraged. He looked out the window to see tanks rolling through his city, blasting the few loyalists that he had.
It is my country, MY country! And he thinks he can take it from me?
Suddenly, outside his door, he heard a gunshot, followed by a series of gunshots. Then his locked door was blown open with a breaching charge. Septim walked into the room, behind him were eight men.
"Yerchico, you shouldn't have tried to kill me!" yelled Septim.
"You were planning this even before I tried to kill you!" screamed Yerchico.
"I never did that, I was loyal to the end, but you...you and your paranoia, turned me against you," said Septim before shooting Yerchico in the head. Septim then walked forward and sat at Yerchico's desk.
"Get me Brigadier General Dark," said Septim to his men.

18:38:06 Nov 19th 08 - Mr. Delran:

Delran was at his desk viewing some field reports about Olkun'ut military activity and the training of his men. Suddenly Sharpe entered the room. He was nervous.
"Sir, Yerchico tried to kill General Septim 4 hours ago."
"Hmmmm. Septim is a good officer. I wonder what Yerchico was thinking? Result?
"The general is alive."
"Good. Who else knows?"
"The two of us, Yerchico, the assasins, Septim and his bodyguards."
"Keep me informed."
"Yes Sir!"

*******

Several hours later, he phone rang in Delran's office.
"Brigadier General Delran Dark. Who is it?"
"Sir, General Septim wants to speak with you."
"Al right. I am at the general's service."
"Took him long enough." said Delran to himself.

18:42:15 Nov 19th 08 - Mr. Delran:

("Colonel Dark,
I am pleased to announce your promotion to the rank of Brigadier General for the plan you suggested five years ago. You will also take permanent command of the Fifth Army, I know you commanded it five years ago, and now you will command it permanently.
Signed,
Yerchico"
Because of a few improvements, I will not be granted command of the Fifth Army. This is just a promotion. The forces under my command remain the two regiments that form my initial brigade. However, I will be detached as an independent officer of the Fifth Army.)

21:26:02 Nov 19th 08 - Prince Validus Septim II:

Septim was sitting in the office that had once belonged to Yerchico. Yerchico's body had been dragged out a few minutes before, but the blood was still in a puddle on the tile floor. The door opened and Delran entered the room.
"Welcome, friend," said Septim with a grim smile, "Yerchico made his last mistake when he tried to kill me, but I suppose it was for the greater good. Now Kerait has a leader who knows war. I am promoting you to the rank of Major General. You will command the third division of the fifth army, twenty thousand men. Before we can begin our invasion of Olkun'ut I must try to win over the people of Kerait. I know there are many who will be glad when they learn that I have taken power, but there will be many who are unhappy. Most of the army is in my control, I am going to contact the navy as soon as possible. Grand Admiral Xarxes is a good friend of mine, and we both didn't agree with how Yerchico worked. But, now I must ask you, what is your opinion?"

22:20:51 Nov 19th 08 - Mr. Delran:

"Sir, I am a soldier. I follow orders. It makes no difference to me who is in charge. I am only affected if the leader does not know how wars are lead. Yerchico had no military knowledge or training. I think what you did was for the good of Kerait. You have my support!"

22:46:05 Nov 19th 08 - Prince Validus Septim II:

"Thank you, now go out and get to know your men and staff at Fort Jarvon, time for me to say hello to Kerait..." said Septim before getting up. He walked out of his new office with Delran and was driven to the KNC Building. He sat behind the desk the anchors usually sat behind and the world saw his face. Nearly everybody knew him as the Supreme Commander of the Keraitian Army, and most of the population liked him for keeping Kerait safe.

"People of Kerait, I am James Septim, the new leader of Kerait. A day ago I was nearly killed by Yerchico's assassins. They were hired out of paranoia. It was then that I realized that our leader was unfit to rule. In the short revolution that followed, he was killed. I am your new leader, and I promise that my rule will be a grand one!" yelled Septim with a smile, "Thank you, and goodnight!"

On the drive back to his new home at the Palace of Kerait, he was thinking of more than plans to invade Olkun'ut. He was thinking of the people. When he got home, a man was waiting in his house.
"Hello Mr. Septim," said the man.
"Who are you?" asked Septim.
"Yerchico said the same thing, twenty years ago," said the man, "You can call me Mr. Liasam. I am here to tell you that you may not end the war with Olkun'ut."
"Why not? It's end would mean the end of bloodshed and the beginning of a new era," said Septim.
"Yerchico also said that. He was a different man when he became the leader of Kerait," said Liasam, "He was going to end the war with Olkun'ut, so we told him that you were planning on killing him. We knew that you would survive, and that you would end Yerchico's rule. The same will happen to you if you do not cooperate," said Liasam.
Septim drew his gun and aimed it at Liasam's head.
"Rot in hell," said Septim.
"That would be ve-" Liasam was cut off by a bullet to the head.
Septim walked up to Liasam to find that no blood was coming from the wound, the man's head was full of metal and clockwork.

23:45:59 Nov 19th 08 - Sir Manwe:

Ryo sat outside the city, wondering what had gotten into the Keraitians. Spitting, he stood and made his way to a road, where he waited for a car to pass going north. Eventually, a large van pulled over and he asked for a ride. The driver was amiable, and in a few minutes, Ryo, baggage and all, was on his way north.

Hours later, Ryo awoke. The driver of the car was speaking too him.

Hey, i said get out! I'm not just gonna keep driving with some hobo in the car!

Glaring, Ryo fingered his gun before pulling it out of his jacket. Pressing it against the man's head, he spoke.

Fine with me...then i'll drive.

Seeing the gun pointed at his head, the driver raised his hands.

What the heck do you think  you're doing? Shut your fat mouth and get outta my fricking car!

Sighing, Ryo put a bullet through the man's head. Shoving the mand out the door, he closed it and slid into the drivers seat. Gripping the wheel, he shoved the gas pedal to the floor. Ahead of him lay the great bridge. The bridge hw would cross on his way out of Kerait.

00:17:04 Nov 20th 08 - Lord Charley Deallus:

Dak and his squad were in the air, about to be inserted near their objective.  The co-pilot turned around and yelled to the squad.
"Message from HQ before we go silent.  Yerchico has been removed from power and General Septim is now in charge."
Dak looked at his men and grinned a little.
"Well at least a man who understands us is now in charge."
All of his men nodded their approval before the co-pilot shouteed again.
"Thirty seconds till the drop!"
Dak nodded and stood up.
"Stand up and check equipment!"
His men all stood and lined up at the door.  They checked the man's equipment in front of them and shouted the ok.
"Eight ok! Seven ok! Six ok! Five ok! Four ok! Three ok! Two ok! One ok!"
Dak turned to the co-pilot.
"We are ready!"
The co-pilot turned on the green light.
"We are over the drop zone! Givem hell captain!"
Dak pulled the handle on the door and kicked it out.  He then stood to the side and his men began filing out of the plane and opening their parachutes as they fell.  Dak waited until his last man was out and then jumped out himself.

He fell weightlessly through the air for several seconds before his chute opened up.  He floated for several minutes before hitting the ground and rolling.  He removed his parachute from him and buried it in the ground quickly.  He then regrouped with his team.
"Everyone here?"
Everyone checked in and was accounted for.
"Ok, we are about a mile away from the city of Garana, which is next to Fort Berring.  Our targets are inside so we are going to move to Garana and then attack tomorrow night."

The squad silently moved to the outskirts of Garana and then took up defensive positions as the sun began to slowly rise.  They would wait until the night to make their move.

00:24:50 Nov 20th 08 - Mr. Arvious VIII:

"Son, get ovewr here and give you're old man a hug!"

Cole woke up from his dream and saw Dad standing over him.  Cole smiled and got up and hugged him.  He then put a shirt on and walked out of the tent to smell something he hadn't smelled in a long time.

"Salmon!"  Cole yelled and ran to the fire and pulled it off the spit and tore it in half.  Cole began to chew on it and spat outall the guts.  When he finished it, he gave out a large burp and looked over to his dad.

"Thank you,"  Cole said, and smiled again.

"I've never seen you smile twice in one day,"  Dad said, and grabbed a couple of ragged looking packages.

"No birthday is complete without a present, right?"  The man grabbed the top one and opened it.

"Here,"  Dad said, and handed him a watch.  "I've never seen these in a while, and I think this could be useful."

Dad grabbed the last package slowly.  He looked slightly sad for a moment, and then handed Cole the present.

"Here, you should open it."

Cole opened it up curiously, and gasped in shock.  In the package was a Colt M1911.  Cole picked it up and then looked at his dad.

"I figured that once you turned of age, you would leave to find a new life,"  Dad said sadly.  "It's okay if you don't go, but if you do go and find a new life, take that with you."

Cole pit the gun in the package and went into the tent.  He placed the packages in a corner and fell asleep on his sleeping bag.

00:25:31 Nov 20th 08 - Prince Validus Septim II:

[[OOC: Sorry Charley, was typing this when you posted. Just pretend what you're doing happened before this. :-). Oh, and Arvious, this is a different world, Colt doesn't exist. Lets pretend you got a KS-7 handgun. It's the same as a 1911. :-)]]

Over the next week, Septim began planning the invasion of Olkun'ut. The operation grew to be called Operation: Deathblow. There would be over 1000 landing crafts, all landing on the coast of Olkun'ut. It was less fortified than their wall in the Warzone, and it would be easier to breach. Before they would invade, the Dragons were to destroy the AA guns to allow paratroopers to be dropped over enemy lines. After that, Olkun'ut's destruction would be simple.

[[OOC:

Red arrows = landing boats
Red splotches = paratroopers

sound familiar? ;-)]]

***

Ava Huga'rut, an Olkun'ut soldier, was standing in a bunker near the coast, yet a hundred miles away from the great barrier wall.
My kids will grow up in a peaceful world, unlike their father, who was born to war, thought Ava.
Suddenly, forty feet from the beach, he saw countless landing boats, colored to look like the ocean.
"Oh cr@p! Raise the alarm!" yelled Ava before manning the mounted machine gun.

***

The day was bloody, thousands died, but in the end, the day was won. Tens of thousands of Keraitian troops poured into Olkun'ut. All were heroes, but the third division of the fifth army were the most effective. They're group of boats landed far downstream, but due to the leadership of Major General Dark, they succeeded in their mission of securing all land west of the great barrier.

***

The new Chairman of Kerait, James Septim, was watching the coast between Kerait and Olkun'ut when a radioman ran up to him.
"Sir! It worked! We've secured the great barrier!" said the radioman.
"Thank you," said Septim, "But the war is far from over..."

00:40:17 Nov 20th 08 - Lord Charley Deallus:

*The Day Before Operation: Deathblow*

Dak and his squad slowly moved past the city of Garana, coming within view of Fort Berring.  Harrison Biggs took up a far position from the fort and covered himself in plantlife and leaves to break up his outline.

Ulren and Rick moved in towards the walls slowly, and they signaled for Tom to move also.  Tom moved over and changed into an Olkun'ut officer uniform before walking to the gate.  He was let in after talking to the guard at the gate and several minutes later the gate opened up slowly.  Tom walked out slowly and lit a cigarette, which was the signal that the way was clear.

Phil, Finn, Jason, and Dak moved up to the gate slowly and then entered the fort.  Most of the fort was asleep or on a very relaxed guard.  Dak stepped over the body of the one gate guard as he moved towards the AA guns that sat in the middle of the fort.  He placed several large pieces of plastique on them and readied them to explode in five minutes.
"Red Squad extract now"
Everyone slowly leap frogged from the base, making sure to cover everyone in the process.  They sat on the perimeter of the fort and watched as the explosives went off with a satisfying blast.

They then headed to Waypoint Charlie.  They arrived within thirty minutes and hopped in a ground transport that looked like it was Olkun'ut designed.  They slowly drove out of the country to the north and were back at the base the next afternoon.

00:54:07 Nov 20th 08 - Sir Manwe:

It had taken three days for Ryo to drive there, but he had finally arrived at the capital of Olkun'ut. His van was dirty and worn, and he himself was sleep-deprived. Sighing, he looked around, his pistol in his hand.

01:37:26 Nov 20th 08 - Prince Validus Septim II:

Septim walked out of the meeting room with Grand Admiral Antonis Xarxes and General Frank Rell of the Air Force. They both pledged loyalty to their new Chairman, as did their men. Septim's rule was now undisputed in the military, and for that he was glad. All of Kerait were celebrating, for they had learned that Kerait had invaded Olkun'ut for the first time in history. He would need a new High General to replace himself, but that could wait for a while. As they walked outside onto the steps of the Kerait Building in Kerait City, an enormous crowd cheered. Cameras flashed and signs were held both celebrating and protesting the w*beep*ptim approached the podium and began his speech.
"People of Kerait! General Rell and Grand Admiral Xarxes have both pledged their loyalty to myself and my new administration. Kerait is whole once more! And for the first time in the history of the world, Kerait has successfully invaded Olkun'ut!" yelled Septim with charisma.
The people in the crowd cheered, and Septim gave them an assuring smile.
"Thank you, and good day!" said Septim before walking to his limo. He got in the back with the Grand Admiral and the General and the limo drove off towards the KMC (Kerait Military Compound).

02:01:33 Nov 20th 08 - Mr. Delran:

Delran was on the battlefield, his division successfully conquering an Olkun'ut military fortification. Although outnumbered 4 to 1, the third division, using their new equipment to the full of their abilities won the day. A helicopter descended from the skies and a man came down from it.
"Sir, you have a letter!"
"Give it to me."
It wrote:
"Delran,
Due to your actions on Reletomo Beach, you are hereby promoted to the rank of General, bypassing the rank of Lieutenant General, you are to be given command of the Fifth Army. You are to go north and take the cities of Cidel, Vrastov, and Keleden. Good luck.
Signed,
Chairman James Septim
Chairman of Kerait"
Delran called for Sharpe.
"Colonel, order the troops to leave a regiment here to guards the fortifications and the prissoners. Send this message to the entire Fifth Army: By the order of Chairman Septim, I am taking command of the Fifth Army, with the rank of General. Our new orders are to head north and take every city in our path, crushing the resistance."
"Congradulations Sir!"
"Thanks, Colonel! Now go!"
The Fift Army deployed with a thin line of light and fast armoured cars in front folowed by the rest of the troops, arranged in formations along the scouting party. If anyone were to attack them, it would find himsefl surrounded. Light helicopters were also used as scouts, mainly on the flanks, baked up by heavy attack helicopters.

02:45:25 Nov 20th 08 - Sir Manwe:

An Olkun'ut convoy truck pulled round the corner, and Ryo slipped behind a trash can. The town was deserted, and dust blew through the streets. As the convoy passed him, Ryo glimpsed the leader of Olkun'ut in the passenger seat.

Ooh, this could be good, thought Ryo. *beep*ing his gun, he followed the truck dwon the street without being noticed. As the truck pulled around another corner, Ryo turned one block before and burst into a full speed run, intending to cut them off. When he arrived at the intersection where he sould've intercepted them, it was empty. He looked down all four streets, but there was no sign of anyone.

Dang it. I've gotten careless, he thought when he felt the muzzle of a gun press against his head.

Alright, you got me, he informed his attacker. Turning slowly, he suddenly whipped his leg into a spinning kick. The pistol clattered to the ground a few feet away as Ryo came to a stop opposite a young man. The man was tense, and Ryo could see that he had no experience in fighting. Relaxing his position, Ryo questioned the man.

Who are you? Where'd you get a gun? You've obviously never handled one before.

The only reply was a sullen glare. Then the man glanced to the side and Ryo saw who he was. Years ago, he had seen the leader of Olkun'ut on TV, and his son had been standing next to him. The boy had glanced to the side, and a scar disfigured his rght cheek. It was the same with this man.

Well, if that's who you are... Ryo glanced to where the man had been looking. Nothing. Turning back, he saw a fist inches away from his face. Falling backward with almost inhuman speed, Ryo slapped at the hand and caught it in mid-air. Whipping his gun up to the man's head, Ryo's finger tightened on the trigger.

03:02:47 Nov 20th 08 - Sir Manwe:

Ryo laughed slightly as the man tensed. This was probably the first time he'd faced death. Ryo knew what it was like, so he'd make sure to end it quickly. Just a little pain and then it's over...

Ryo's sweaty finger tightened and then squeezed the trigger. A quiet clap broke the silence, and the Olkun'ut man quivered.

You cowardly fool. I didn't even shoot you...

Dropping his gun, Ryo executed a perfect sideways kick before flipping to the side. As the man fell, Ryo hurled himself at him, spinning. Two kicks landed, the first on the back of the man's neck, the second under his chin. Flying backwards, he hit a wall.

Time to finish this, eh? I'm tired of this war...in case you wanted to know, i will probably kill your father within the next few hours. And you can't do anything about it.

Pulling a second pistol from his jacket, Ryo aimed the sights on the mand's head and ended his life. The report was followed by a spurt of blood, and the red liquid dripped down the man's face. Kicking the body, Ryo turned and loped down the street.

03:24:58 Nov 20th 08 - Prince Validus Septim II:

The war raged on for only a month longer, and in the end, Kerait was victorious. Tanks rolled through the streets of Olkai and James Septim was in full control of the world. He immediately called General Delran Dark back from Cidel, and he invited every Dragon to a victory celebration. He also invited Ryo Hirani after hearing that he had assassinated the General in charge of Olkai's defense. He also invited Sharpe and some of Delran's best men in order to give them medals.

***

Septim stood behind the podium in the Kerait building, his face proud and triumphant. The men before him were his best and bravest.
"Soldiers of Kerait, I am proud to announce our victory over Olkun'ut. It's been a long hard war, but we've emerged the champions. I must thank you, soldiers, for without you, this victory would've been impossible. Therefore, I am proud to announce that from this day forth, Delran Dark will be Supreme Commander of the Keraitian Army!" said Septim with a smile.
As Delran walked towards the stage, an alarm buzzed. Septim turned his head.
"Oh...that...that isn't good..." said Septim, his face turning white, he turned his head towards his men.
"Get down to the basement! Move move move!" yelled Septim.
The men at the ceremony ran down the stairs, having no idea what could be happening. Once in the basement, Septim opened a trapdoor and waited for everybody to go through it before going in himself. Once inside, he led the men through a tunnel to a vault door. He put in a code, and his men ran inside. Once inside, he closed the vault, and it would not be opened for another century.

***

In the Keraitian hub of Valdi, Cole and his father were walking through the streets when a similar alarm went off. A voice shouted words through the intercom, and told the people to enter the basement of the Graves Building. Once insides, Cole and his father were led into a vault similar to the one in Kerait City, where they were brought to a warehouse that housed two hundred man sized units with a blue interior.
"We are under attack," said the Colonel in charge of the shelter, "Enter the Crynogenic Hibernation Chamber closest to you and pray they work!"
Cole and his father walked into neighboring CHCs and everything faded to black.

***

Septim led Grand Admiral Xarxes, General Rell, High General Dark, Sharpe, Captain Perkins, Admiral Wolfe, the Dragons, Delran's men, and many other soldiers to a warehouse full of over three hundred man sized units.
"We are under attack by Olkun'ut. They have nuclear weapons. We will survive if we enter these chambers, we will awake one hundred years from now to rebuild," said Septim.
"How will we rebuild with no women?" asked Ryo Hirani in anger.
"There are similar shelters throughout Kerait, half are filled with men, half with women..." said Septim, "Now get in..."
The Keraitians entered the Crynogenic Hibernation Chambers, the world would not see another Keraitian for another hundred years.
