Not realy. Its been quite surpricing how you been able to keep Hema who is a much bigger kd than yourself locked out. very nice play so far from your little kingdom imo.

Interesting stuff going on here – 2 forces at work:
1. Location, Location, Location! I wouldn’t want to be neighbors with FEAR!
2. Strength in Numbers! FEAR is approximately 25% bigger in Members than each of #’s 2 & 3, and approximately 50% bigger in Members than each of #’s 4-7.
So the BIG QUESTION is (Drum Roll please), How would an Era finish with a MAXIMUM of 20 Players per Kingdom? (Since 60% of the Top 10 Kingdoms are under 20)

Kingdom size definately matters regardless if you have NAP's or not. expecially in how the game is set up now. imagine being the kingdom next era that starts on the same map as a 35 member kingdom while they only have 15 guys. they could be nearly wiped out before the worlds are open and before any allies can help them out. a 20 cap max is needed. anyone who says this will just unbalance the game even more makes no sense when they say that because these 30 member kingdoms all have 20 players in them already that are quality. as of now 9 kingdoms are within 5 members of that 20 member limit which is why it makes perfect sense. it will establish some honor in being in what is deemed as the elite kingdoms since their is only a limited number of spots available in them. now kingdoms with over 20 members are trying to find ways to reach 30 so they can compete with the likes of Fate or Fear. i've personally gotten offers from several kingdoms over the 18 mark and even up until the 25 range (not naming names)

Lets imagine that a cap was put up on 20 for next era. Then we would have to pick out 12 members and tell them that we dont like them any longer and that they can go do something else. That would deffenetly force some of them out of the game.
I dont think a cap is a bad idea, but if done i think it should be done gradually. There are 2 - 5 leaving each era anyways.
So imo start with a 30 cap and then reduce the max size by 2 every era untill 20 is reached.

I would like to also put my view on the kingdoms cap, and i would also like to mention something to Mr. Kreed. I don't think that this kingdom cap thing is a good idea. If this happens it will really make the game divided into two tiers of players - experienced players and beginners....obviously if the cap is implemented then the kingdoms, will obviously keep only their strongest players. The weaker players will never had chance to learn....
And as far as the point that Kreed mentioned above - yes kingdom sizes matters mate, you are right. But in order to get the size, the kingdom would have to gain some fame among the VU community, and with that, the size increases. And logically - the larger the fame, stronger players would like to join, and thus increase the overall strength of the kingdom. But that doesn't happens over night. What i mean - i will use my kingdom GOTF as example since i was the creator and no one in this kingdom apart from me knows the full history of it. When i created gotf, we were exactly 5 members (me, Struddle, Darkfaith, Dead and Fuzz), nobody has heard of us, and logically we didnt start to make impact on VU at first....but now, 12 eras later, we have 24 members, with more coming next era...I'm not trying to say anything, just that in order to have a big and powerful kingdom, you need to be patient and not give up. I had to witness total destruction of gotf for 5 eras in a row, and that didnt made me give up or change the kingdom :) Now i dont feel sorry about my decision ;)

I have seen many kgdms with way more members that have fallen to smaller kgdms,
FEAR would have made it this far even with lesser players, I cant exclude 1 memeber out of that team that isnt a skilled player, x-HIV and x-RVL memebers :) well i can exclude Deno, he is not good at all LOL....(joking)
A very small kgdm can make it very far, all depends on skill and tactic...and a bit of luck :)

Well.... if you use "relations" as an argument against the cap... then divide your Kingdoms & MAP. I've got nothing against the large kd's, especially the ones who have worked hard to get good Players... I was only pointing out the number of top kd's with fewer members, that's all

@ Chade: I agree. A KD cap will only create pure VET kds and a lot of newb KDs. It would discourage newer players from learning how to play the game.

Egos tend to naturally prevent that from happening. This game is full of kingdom hoppers for a reason. Eventually though, yes, a great group of top notch players would form that gets along.
