I have found - hopefully all - places, where the mapedges doesn't fit perfectly. I have also found some information about bevel a map. GIMP has such a filter/tool too. Next step is to find out how to use it.......... I'll update here as the work goes along. Hi! It's a good mix. You should have used the HQ version though: http://static.visual-utopia.com/images/shatteredworlds_HQ.jpg You did* think about the overlaps! :) There are some artifacts and butterfly effects along the edges though.* You can find all maps and images on http://static.visual-utopia.com/images/ Tip for making the mountain ranges is to use the "bevel" tool, it also works for the sea borders and rivers. 00:53:31 Aug 18th 17 - SFD* (Mr. Not Playing):* with all that grass around, wouldn't the volcano's be inactive? i just think the grass would be dried with all of them. also there are 4 points of interest (depending on the size of the area) that all KD's will flood to as a starting point. also could we have the tree's bend around the frozen mountains. with a gloss of snow on them? other than that... the map looks awesome :P P.s im being a c0ck it looks nice :p
01:13:13 Aug 18th 17 - Blood Lord Trumpdoggmillionaire: I was thinking the same but time on the map and space in the map are an issue, I have tested city sizes on the map and the second stage buildings fit perfectly each end of the bridges that are rounded at the ends and the map has about the same kingdom space as the snow map.

Further I don't know how cities made at bridges are placed (I don't know if bridges are something special). But I have had in mind, that my map should be very difficult to control for a very big kingdom - at least they should really work for their success. If some "choke-points" can't be blocked, well let it be so. Just remember, I'm still working on the map - right now I'm working most on the land making the "borders" between coast and inland more fluffy. But still keeping the diffenrence between coasts and water.
