Hey there Mcmax, it's me Barny. I recently read a post where you say that my support of using Armageddon to control the spell itself has caused you to lose all respect for me. I respect you greatly as a player and member of the community, and I certainly wouldn't want to lose your respect. I wrote a book-like response to your comment, it isn't a hostile or aggressive post, it was made to examine the morales and ethics present in VU's mechanics and the community itself. Overall, what you think is very important. The usage of Armageddon and other spells that have recent become more popular has changed the game quite a lot, and I am interested in hearing your opinion on the matter, as well as the ethical concerns that accompany said spells.
With Bogdans 3rd Arma-cast, I don't care for the game anymore. I'm pulling out of active gameplay.

How can I travel 24-35 ticks away and still manage to put a mining city before anyone of your kd mates (except for the Orc near the mountains) if that is your production core? And I made sure to build far enough from the orc guy. The halfling guy built his cities close to me. Not your core. Not my problem. :P

If you mean to say that I support the exploitation of unintended game mechanics for self gain, then that right there is the antithesis of everything that I actually believe. With the most recent changes to the game, some terrible bugs have been introduced, and I am sure that in due time the community will find out about them and the game will be ruined for everyone, moreso if the community does not respond to people abusing them.

so who is using this Barny? I'd like to know because I'm getting really shitty dice rolls these days

Visual Utopia is a game full of grey areas. Some aspects of the game and exploits are cut and dry, if a player uses a bug to lock the dice in place and guarantee that a certain dice roll is produced, it is extremely clear exploitation of a bug and it should be frowned upon. It's obviously not an intended game mechanic, and it produces a clear and undeniable advantage.

No one is using it yet because few people understand how dice rolls were changed or how many bugs exist these days. It isn't exactly complicated, people will find out about the plethora of bugs that were recently brought into the game. These days it is even possible to cast a spell at X magic power, and have the losses be the same for a different spell at X magic power.

Before any of the retards who think that exp feeding is acceptable and ensuring that an era goes on for 40 days is not acceptable try to insult me by asking why I have not reported these bugs, I have. Obviously I didn't post in the Bugs and Errors forums because if I did, people would abuse the bugs. I messaged Zeta about all the bugs that I am aware of.

I am sure you can imagine how that went.

My statements were more of inarticulate trolling attempts then anything, I wanted to poke fun at Music for 3 of their 4 cheaters placing in the top 4 and the other not being far behind. The affects were very noticeable on more then just the score board, it pretty much fucked up the whole era for everyone.

Kills are by far the least relevant of all of the fearsome statistics, but you also had the most battle wins and battles fought, I won't argue with the fact that you did really well this era. But notice that I said that aside from the cheaters only "2 or 3" players in Music actually did anything.

Qassim (Detox), Freddy (Fred). Those are the only 2 Music players that did not cheat that really did anything of value.
