Understanding Fanatics Cults
05:33:40 Sep 26th 22 - Matthew* (Chief Trogdar):* It is quite obvious to anyone who has been online throughout the rise of Youtube and Twitch and Twitter that in recent years 'the fanatic' or 'fan' has become a much larger demographic. What is it about the modern internet that lends itself so strongly towards fan (truncated version of 'fanatic') behavior as well as cult-like behavior? I for one believe it is human nature, and that the internet feeds into human nature.

23:29:58 Sep 26th 22 - Matthew* (Chief Trogdar):* mIRC was a the best chat client. I think it was better than Skype and did a better job than Twitch Chats that copied the formula. Forum Posting is cool, I think it will make a comeback when people realize that their online footprints aren't consequential/
