For the democrates to have a philabuster proof goverment they must have 60 or more in the senate, they fortunitly do not. Therfor philabustering is a viable option to stop obama.

Here's a newsflash retards, the republicans won't be able to filibuster anything related to the budged, which includes any tax hikes/cuts, spending hikes/cuts or spending program, think "New Deal", as such the fact that the dems don't have 60 votes in the Senate is irrelevant.

Also it's damaging to a senator's image if all he's doing is filibustering, especially against a new president, moderate republicans will be under pressure to do something and not act like a mindless GOP hack. Considering that dems will have 57 maybe 58 votes they only need 2 republicans to not support a filibuster and they have a vote.

PS: Des I don't know who you are, but from your posts, you're a complete *beep*. Suggesting Obama be assassinated would probably be the worst thing to happen to the GOP. Everybody will blame the hate filled trailer-trash whites that the GOP represents and will reduce the Republicans to a regional party. Also, do you really want Biden to be president? Do you think he'd be a better president than Obama?

Im not so sure everyone completely understands what he said however, not everyone is as smart as the average Romanian (or canadian) ;D
