The answer to the later one I can say with some certainty is that if they are truely repentant of their sins, then yes, they will go to heaven. (Catholics believe in some quality time in purgatory first) but I may or may not be right.

You just said 2 different things honestly. "Well, to tell you the truth when OUR Solar System was first forming, there were around 60 planets (i forget, maybe more or less, but roughly 60) of all different sizes. They bumped into each other and destroyed each other, that's one theory of how the moon formed. Also Starts DO hit each other, hell even Galaxies have been known to hit each other." Interesting point here, i just read a story stating we didnt come from the milky way but instead the dwarf sagittarius system (or something similiar). Apparently the dwarf system is far smaller then the milky way and when they collided milky way began cannabalizing dwarf which apparently explained why when astronomers looked at the stars some things didnt make sense. The dwarf system is near collapsing as an astral body. Fun little fact there.

I think those are called Novas. Infact I think i saw something on TV once (it was the History Channel or Nova or something) that said everything was made from the stars, or something of that sorts. Also why would the man do good things? Becuase even if there was no after life, the man (or woman) wanted his children, and the people all around to live better lives. I don't know if there's a Heaven or a Hell, but those 2 incentives make you want to go to a relegion. Just to make sure, that if you where wrong and there's Heaven and Hell you would not be sent to Hell and if there's no Heaven/Hell then what's the harm? You lived your life well, you helped other people, and you jsut feel good. @Dakarius IF it's not for humans to judge, for whom it is to judge for? God? Well if God is all knowing, and all fair. Then that good person would go to heaven whether he belived in God or not. @Mbeidas I wanted to ask you, What the hell is up with Muslims and women? I mean dude, women are so......put down in that relegion. I know Christians did it too, but that dark age is over, but for Muslims......I just don't know when it's going to lift......

On another note, why can't people belieave in both Science and Relegion? Why can't the Big Bang be explained that God started the chain of events, and then everything took course as science says it did. The Garden Of Eden myth, it was probebly a real place 100,000 years ago somewhere in Africa. Where people where happy and ran around naked, but some people ate a forbidden fruit, like a banna or something and where banished. So that's how people started going through the whole world....... BTW I LOVE this one MK 16:17-18 A believer can handle snakes or drink poison and not experience any harm. (Note: Many unfortunate believers have died as a result of handling snakes and drinking poison. This kind of assertion negates the Bible as a useful guidebook for life.) Though to tlel you the truth the book was written by man, not God, or Jesus. So maybe they exagerated it a bit=P

By the way, Mbeidas, it doesn't make your text any more true, if you wrote it in red color... :) Konichiwa, yes, this is useless discussion for people who already have a clue, but it might be useful to those who have not yet made up their mind. I think this discussion very clearly demonstrates the strength of modern thinking versus ancient beliefs. Yes, otherwise it really is useless. On the other hand, if we really were having a useful scientific or philosophic discussion here, we would be writing history. I think we are not that advanced, so we have to entertain ourselves with less than new scientific breakthroughs.

Do not believe what the religious preachers try to feed you. Be independent. Use your own brain. Think. There is no God. There is no Allah. But there is good in man. We are good and we can love each other, and we don't need any deities for that. In Christmas the Santa Claus visits my family and brings us presents, but the God is no more true than Santa. They are great stories, very educating, and they teach us the right values, but they are just that stories. I respect the Bible and I respect the Koran, but I respect those books because they are old books that tell great stories. I do not believe they are the words of any god. They are good books, but the world is full of good books and we need to read more than just a couple very old ones. I highly respect the Christian and the Islamic values, but I'm not so naive I would actually believe in any gods. Respect the morals and the cultural heritage, but don't be so childish that you actually believe in those bedtime stories and metaphors. They are just metaphors for God's sake!

Because I do not believe in any God, I do not believe in heaven or hell, so there is no threat to save you from. Except maybe wasting your life, worrying too much about hell or so. So, yes, I would like to save you from worrying too much about probably going to hell. No one is going to hell, because there is no such thing. Instead, think of your children and your family, and their children. Think of the mankind and how we all can live a better life on this planet. I don't care who has the best god or Santa Claus. I care about who is the best man or woman, who makes the right thing and cares about others too. When we care about each other the world we live in will be a better place. Think about it! We are not going to some supernatural place after our lives, but instead the actual world we are living in, will turn into a better place. We don't have to argue if the real world exist because we all know it does. Let's make the real world a better place and not argue some "afterlife" or other nonsense that no-one has ever seen. What happens when I die? It is not a mystery. My children will live on. And I know that for a fact.
