We will fix some issues with the new server configuration. Will have to restart the server, but it will hopefully be down for only a minute or so. | ||||
That did not work out at all... the server refused to connect to the internet after rebooting... So we cant reboot and we have to manually run dhclient to get an ip and routing works if we are lucky. Will leave the server up for now and think out a plan... | ||||
The server is now up and running again... Got into a new turn loop due to human error (accidentally set the wrong date) There seems to be some issues with the connections to the database, trying to figure out what's wrong... | ||||

There seem to be some issues with the connection to the database. Once in a while there is a deadlock causing timeouts. | ||||
Have pinpointed the database connection issue to be a network/driver issue. Have now downgraded the network driver... | ||||
Not a single database error for several hours! Mental note about using version 51 of the virtio network driver | ||||
Today we got an hardware alarm. Most likely a failing fan or power supply... The server eventually grinded to a halt and had to be reset. Will investigate further. | ||||
