Building Prices
12:50:41 Jul 20th 08 - Lord Anarkist The Wraith:

These are the prices in different cities for building atm.

It costs 164 gold, 15 tree and 20 stone ( 328 for walls) to build one building. Each building take up to 10 days to build.
(All other cities have this cost)

It costs 164 gold, 30 tree and 41 stone ( 328 for walls) to build one building. Each building take up to 14 days to build.
(Only 1 city has this cost)

Can anyone explain if this is normal?

13:13:56 Jul 20th 08 - Sir Gonzo The Great:

Is there a productivity difference?

13:16:20 Jul 20th 08 - Lord Anarkist The Wraith:

100% in everything except 96% in one, which is one of the ones that has cheaper costs.

14:11:52 Jul 20th 08 - Sir Gonzo The Great:

Is the one with higher costs got more buildings/troops in it?

14:40:06 Jul 20th 08 - Lord Anarkist The Wraith:

Hmm, I think thats it. I'll enlarge one of my smaller cities and try find out. Cheers for the idea Rev! ^^

14:56:41 Jul 20th 08 - Mr. David:

If you have more buildings in a city the costs will rise to build a new one. Including time to build them.

15:52:37 Jul 20th 08 - Pirate Lewatha:

David is correct.

21:29:30 Jul 20th 08 - Lord Anarkist The Wraith:

Oh thanks. I always thought that costs were universal o.0

02:33:48 Jul 21st 08 - Sir Soc Innewyork:

no ever believed me, but this has always been around. one of the reasons i always build tons of miners, and never have a 90k!

02:42:30 Jul 21st 08 - Lord Kevdwayne:

So in this instance smaller is better...  :)

12:05:14 Jul 21st 08 - Lord Anarkist The Wraith:

Ok, tested it and you're right. Thanks for the help. :)

13:38:41 Jul 24th 08 - Mr. Oxygen:

c'mon wraith get with it lol

13:42:03 Jul 24th 08 - Mr. David:

Don't forget that more cities means more costs to settle a new one. Then there is the space all those colonies will take and the higher difficulty to defend all your colonies in case you're under attack. Smaller is not always better.

15:28:08 Jul 24th 08 - Sir Valentine:

WOOT! David is correct again.. :D
