Is the tax bonus to humans scaled with city size, increasin in steps, or exponentially? Does a peasant in a full 200k produce the same tax as a peasant in a full 40k and SO on?
From what I understand, it says somewhere here in the guides, the bigger the city the more 'rich' peasants you'll have 'move' to your city. Or something like that so I'll assume you'll get a higher tax bracket in a larger city.
All employed peasants pay 1 gold in taxes each day.
Isn't the human tax bonus simply that they get 10% more tax? (or did that change?) Apart from that bigger cities will generate more taxes/pez. So the fact that humans can build 200kers also feeds into that. However, if someone else takes over a 200ker they will get the same tax from it as a human (minus the 10%).
Right, I forgot the actual question. Yeah just ten percent bonus at all times in taxes.
Right. So functionally, humans have a static 1.1x multiplier to taxes? Aside from only having to defend a singular large city, there's be no difference in a 400k building empire made of 2 cities or made of 10 when it comes to taxes?
Yeah, the larger the city the more actual tax revenue you will receive... If you read my one post, taken from the guides, the bigger cities attract merchants and wealthy peasants. In a 200k you end up with over a mil in taxes.
Unless your names Hanky. Then you get std's
But is that simply due to a static increase in population or a dynamic variable that kicks in at. Thay city size?
Ahh, I think it's actually due to more peasants being in the city. I'm unsure at what point that would take effect.
Polydeuces: When the city size is max, thats ur point.
Okay so it is based off of city size rather than actual peasant count.
No, it is based on number of employed peasants. The more you have the more they each give in taxes. One 200ker will give WAY more taxes than say 5 40kers, atleast thrice as much.
Has that been tested? | ||||
It's a scaling increase in tax/peasant employed. humans have a 1.1x modifier to tax over all that, so just multiply tax by 1.1 on any human city including the scaled tax amount versus a non-human +116,442 - 100k pez employed - 1.16/pez +60,751 - 60k pez employed - 1.01/pez example in two of my cities for taxes, obviously these amounts scale with your income in general, but the theme can be seen, more pez = higher tax per peasant.
1.1 for human bonus. All races get the better tax late game as peasants max out. It just seems that human is getting more but all they really get is the +10%.
