I've been paying close attention to my injured troops, and when I remember numbers over a tick, I notice that none heal. I have 5 medicine science, but they are all dying. Is there an explanation for this, and does this have anything to do with whether or not I am moving the army, or if it has peasants in it? | ||||

That's most likely right... I'm not in a town right now... when I WAS in a town, I wasn't around to check if I was getting troops back... I'll be in a town soon, hopefully that's what it is. | ||||
Staying in a town will improve your recovery. If you travel with your army, the amount of deaths rise. | ||||
Just having your army sit still (camp) will improve your heal rate. If you army is moving, you will not get many troops back. Instead, your higher med sci will keep the deaths per tick low until you do stop somewhere. | ||||
Same problem here, not a single injured troop healing despite having Medical Science 5 and the army in a city. My character is an Orc. Anybody know why?

Do you have any MUs? Healing rate is supposedly dependent on both medicine science and the number of MUs in your army. | ||||
Its a bug and you have to set a path (of one tick max) with the army and the following tick the injured will start coming in. | ||||

I'm going to add that bug to my notes. BTW, here is what ZeTa had to say ages ago (I deleted actual #'s we were discussing }:> ) VU Admin (1/30/2010 12:43:12 PM) Not all injuries heal, it depends on your med sci and amount of spell weavers in the army. VU Admin (1/30/2010 2:44:10 PM) Adding more spell weavers would increase the healed. Investing in a higher med sci would decrease died. | ||||
