When you cast magic protection on an army that has no magic units in it, will it be harder for the enemy to cast on you?
yes | ||||
a better question is how much harder will it be to cast on an army without mages when mp is cast on it?
Not much. MP time's the magic protection of an army by between about 0.1% and 10%. If an army has no MUs then it's magic protection will be not much. Just based on the armie's size. So obviously 0.1% to 10% of a low number won't add much. So the more MUs in the army the more magic power gets added when cast on an army. So yes, it'll make it harder to cast on, but not by much. Only the % of the armies innate magic protection.
it lower the max % success rate of ANY spells casted on you by a quarter of it's original max %. Double edge sword.
Oh yeah, that's right. I was thinking of Bless. oops. :P
Bless can go up to 20% though, not 10%.
there is no boundary for bless. More power more %bless. However the formula for bless is logarithmic. To reach even a 20% bless would require a godly amount of magic power (4M mp)
No boundary is only theoretical then, so it's ok to say the practical boundary is ~20%.
