I was on my phone earlier and was like wtf is this. http://visual-utopia.com/mobile/production.asp = phone version http://visual-utopia.com/production.asp = PC version why does the phone version give more info than the pc version? or is it only chrome
also http://visual-utopia.com/mobile/magic.asp. why do you get random bits of info on mobile site that you dont get on pc? :P
What extra info ? | ||||
I noticed this too, in mobile you get land count, for example, but not in 'pc' version of production page
More info can fit into the same screen area. Try resizing the window in mobile version and some of it will disappear.
I think what Osiris is getting at, is why is the additional info not in the default PC view?
Bump | ||||
You can use your overview page for that with the extra option u get from donating though. But it would be nice to just make it the same for the mobile and the pc version.
Ah, I don't have overview. Received custom title for creating a map. PC has the functionality I like without the visual aspects or land count. Mobile has the sleeker UI aesthetic but production%/morale% are in a different page to building.
The mobile is actually a whole different game, but with the same rules and database. The plan was to move everyone over to the mobile version.
Is there any way to implement the floating div style over the map in mobile? Feels more connected to the world map
The PC version is just far too superior for army movement to replace the mobile version at this point. If you can fix being able to attack an army underneath yours without having to move, maybe by giving an option to view attackable armies in your range, and exclude invis and armies in cities then I think it's mostly fixed. Apart from that, make it possible to move your army over your own city if you already have an army there. Right now it blocks you from moving on the city cause of the army picture overlay. Perhaps make it so u can hide all the clickable layers of the non selected armies when u want to move an army.
Are you not able to move an army, cancel it, and then click on the edge of the army underneath yours? As far as the phone thing goes, I still haven't figured out how to move armies on it yet.
If the army is right below u, the border around your army picture still covers the army beneath, if u move your army on your phone it automatically refreshes the page so u cannot click it, while on PC u have to manually refresh.
Floating divs don't have any support in mobile browsers. For good reasons. I had to do so many hacks to get the mobile map to work already.
