i think i remember hearing someone say that the it means the wall bonus doesn't affect a pure nazzie army...... am i high? | ||||||||||||||||
Yah, wall bonus doesn't affect a pure nazgul army. Not sure about the second bonus for nazguls though. | ||||||||||||||||

Naz don't increase total army strength since they were made 150/150. They used to be 70/70 but had that ability which was quite overpowered, even at a 1:1 naz/mu ratio is was powerful. | ||||||||||||||||
Well lets say you had an army without a nazzie, then you put a nazzie in, it will increase your armies' total power by 150/150. | ||||||||||||||||

Bottom line, Nazguls are too damn strong. Other races need better things than standard catapults to contest with such a thing. Nazguls behind walls is death to the enemy. I still suggest that 1 Catapult should destroy one wall every 2 or 3 ticks depending on exp. That would make blocker battles interesting. But only when the blocker is under seige though. | ||||||||||||||||
try suggestion forum. plus if you do the math they are not the best lv 5 unit, just the cheapest to maintain. they cost 17000 so that /150= 133.33 repeting. that means each point (op/dp) costs 133 and 1/3.now lets go to beserkers, in my opinion the best unit in the game. 3500/25 =100. so each op/dp point costs 100 gold. thats 33 and 1/3 cheaper per guy. now your upkeep will be (if the same but it wont be per unit) will be ~4.29 times higher if your maching the nazgul army (that means you need that many more too). so their you have it, do not make the nazgul weaker and if you do the price must drop more significantly. even adventures are cheaper at 125 per op/dp. and archmages if lv 10 are around 88 gold per op/dp | ||||||||||||||||
I think that humans should get somthing. They are too middle-man. In a real-life counter-part, I could find 1 troop equal to every troop in the game! man is too deverse to be accounted in 1 form. Its like orcs and elves- orcs ARE elves that got tourtured into hideous cretures (or so J.R.R. Tolkien says). Gosts arent elvish dieties, gosts are gaia, or nutral. they have no master but their own, so gosts shouldint be elvish. Same with Nazguls. If you want nazguls to be different, face the facts, they arent controlled by orcs, or trolls, or goblins, they are controlled by Dark Lords (not like osi)! If this game was realer, Nazzies would fly around eating people on walls but would be 2x more vulnerable to ranged and 3x to catipults, slingers would have a very powerful attack and defence becasue they shoot rocks much faster than cretures can throw. They can sling them well over 150 mph! archers would have 1 swordsman counter part which would have a large shield and would have extemely powerful defence. (elves would just use their knives to cut the arrows coming towards them :) ) If this game was real, nazzies would have to be razied by spells from big cracks in the earth and would be made by uniting 1 troop called a Dark Lord to a Fell Beast to make a Nazgul, and if the fell beast wa*beep*, the dark lord would fight with 50/50 power. Thats only the begining. | ||||||||||||||||

I think that berserkers shouldn't kill allied troops. It would balance out trolls and make them a bit stronger | ||||||||||||||||
Samulis first off. To much Lord of the rings. this game was way before Lord Of the rings. Its not intended to be real. Zeta has an imgination and made the game what it is today without making it like real life. Its Not meant to folo real life standards. | ||||||||||||||||

No what would balance then out would be making them stronger by about 5op/dp. The problem is they are underpowered, yes if you know what you are doing you can raize massive beserker armies, but come up against a nazzie army you have to have atleast 4.3 (Roughly rounded up) bezerkers to every 1 nazgul. This tends to come to a point where it is impossible to keep up with these sort of numbers... | ||||||||||||||||

dwarfs there are dude. Not the kind in VU but there are dwarfs aka little people. Any person that is an adult and full grown and isnt taller then 4' 9" is considered a Dwarf. | ||||||||||||||||

True. I guess the upkeep wouldn't be as high but i dont think thats a large problem in the first place is it? Maybe even both those improvements cause trolls suck alot right now. Unless you know how to play them. | ||||||||||||||||
Even when you know how to play them they are still on the most part no match for a good orc players. | ||||||||||||||||

i have no armories in my city so im still a little in shock about this but i also havent played orc like ever and i was gone since era 46 (back when all worlds ended at once) | ||||||||||||||||

do orc training times still decrease with armouries are is there no need for them to since they have 1/2 training times? | ||||||||||||||||
Armories still reduce training times by half again with a sufficient number of them. | ||||||||||||||||

what made me mad was that i played a dwarf this era thinking that they still had natural resistance to magic like they did back when i stopped playing around a year ago so when i walked off with my top of the HoH dwarf army i couldnt do anything with it cause it kept getting frozen with over 300k lvl 2 and 3 troops... i just think he should keep an up-to-date log of all the unique characteristics of each race | ||||||||||||||||
