It all depends on how far you are in the era. In the early era just out of protection swordsmen are better. But later in the era knights are better because you need less knights to get high OP/DP which means lower upkeep cost. 3 knights = 33 attack and 33 defense = 5000 gold = +- 10 gold upkeep 11 swords = 33 attack and 22 defense = 2200 gold = +- 33 gold upkeep | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
yeah, i've seen a few of your questions neverarcher... i think you are underestimating teh impact that army upkeep has on the later parts of the era when the armies get really big and strong... | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Maybe another example for army upkeep. 1 million knights = 11 million attack and 11 mil defense = 2.5 bil = +- 3 mil upkeep 1 million sword = 3 million attack and 2 mil defense = 200 mil = +- 3 mil upkeep You spent less money but in the long term its better to have stronger units. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
