If someone on the forum uses my name against my will in something, like saying I want something but I don't want it, can I report that message in hopes to get it changed or deleted? | ||||

There is a fine line between 'slander' and the 'opinion' of the speaker. | ||||
I'll just try and report all posts I think is slander towards me, and if they get deleted we will know if it's ok or not. | ||||
Maybe an improvement to the report system, where you press report, and then get to fil in a little text message in what you write whats wrong with the reported post, this should keep people from reporting things that shouldn't be reported... | ||||
there is nothing in the rules about slander and we have no guidelines about deleting slander so imo it wont be deleted | ||||
Im not offended by this slander, I just don't approve the use of my name in stuff I don't approve of, thus for example in my latest suggestion, a dude started a petition with my name on the top, against my will. Thus it was like he made me sign something I did not wish to sign. | ||||
afaik he made a list of people in favour of the suggestion. as you made it and put (best suggestion) in the title we can only assume you are in favour of it. it breaks no rules. slander happens in this game and people will belive what they want to. all you can do is post and say otherwise. i see no reason to delete those posts | ||||
No, slander will not be deleted. I suggest that in such a case that someone 'slander' you, you should clearly state otherwise. If you feel as if it was an insult to you, I also suggest that you report the post and the next mod who sees it will judge whether or not it should be deleted. | ||||
