15:32:15 Jun 23rd 12 - Tyr* (Mr. Tyrgalon):* 1. Would advice against using bombard at all, it isn´t very viable in its current state Im afraid :/ 2. They always counts as defence, nothing can remove that function.

12:18:38 Jun 24th 12 - Tyr* (Mr. Tyrnification):* They give you high op (offensive power), but you will need some archers to make sure you got enough dp (defensive power). Knights are the best unit to train as human.

13:12:57 Jun 26th 12 - Mr. Stannis: And what I dont understand is in the guides it says you should fully prepare before bombarding a city while in the war screen it says sth like We have prepared X days for this attack. It will take another Y days before our soldiers are fully prepared. (and our chances of any attack is %1) We have loaded our catapults and are ready to roll them out to fire at the city! We are at a safe distance from the city, so our losses should be minimal if we succeed with the attack. So if I attack my chance is %1 for bombard too? Also I could not find any statistics relating the catapult number to number of buildings destroyed
15:44:05 Jun 26th 12 - Tyr* (Mr. Tyrnification):* You have to prepare the same amount if time as making a take over attack, but instead you will just bombard them and do some damage. In other words theres basically no good reason to use that preparation time for a bombardment instead of a take over. The reason theres no good statistics is because its useless, no one is even interested in trying to find out since there is no reason to use it anyway. JUST DON`T USE IT lol XD BUT! Mind you, the other human ability is definitely worth it. Just make sure you have at least a hundred taverns in your armoury city.
15:51:08 Jun 26th 12 - Mr. Farm Over Here Come Feed: I have seen at least 5 people use the bombard attack before. At high percentages (>80%). 4 of them lost their entire army when they failed their attacks. The other one suffered hideous losses even when he succeeded in his attack. And the number of walls he took down was pathetic. Use it at your own peril. Or feel free to find out first hand how it works anyway... don't always rely on our advice.
