***The court of justice*** Right this is how it will work....... Roles 1) organiser- ORGANISES STUFF!!! i will do this, and another role if not enough people join. 2) defendant - i think the name explains... they defend themselves.... 3) the Judge(x2)- decides ultimately who is guilty 4) accuser- does what it says on the tin! 5) Accusers lawyer 6) defendants lawyer
We have got enough sign ups, as were shown in a different thread. this is the thread we will be using from now on for all cases we will continue to use the judge debate and sign ups threads, but this is the only thread for cases from now on.

Markonovikas, Stole my cows! He also burnt their barns!
As the lawyer of the defendant, I am entitiled to know what it is the person accusing him has finally decided to accuse him of. please state this imaginary crime againsst my client.
Judge These games are getting a bit out of hand
*Umbar walks in...with a whole escort behind his back. Than he walks to his seat and sits down...
oops, posted that @ the same time as u put that...lol
revenge, getting out of hand? i know there are a lot of threads, but we will stick to this oone from now on. If you will excuse me, i ish to get back to the case.
ok | ||||
*stands up* 'Judge Umbar, this has been stated in your absence. this man has accused my client of burning his barns and stealing his cows. that is what was the accusation This however could not have happened, as my client was no-where near at the time of the crime. he was in lithuania, having travelled their to visit his aount who was ill, and has now unfortunatley died. he was then dragged backhere in his distress because of this accusation *places a comforting arm around the lithunian whose name he cant pronounce, seeing he was sobbing quietly*
"Might, you can sit down now! Marknikovas!! Guilty or not Guilty!? "
*sits back down, and continues to comfort markinkovas* 'sorry judge Umbar. you have said there that my client now speaks, but before you said that the accuser now speaks. which one would you like to speak?' *looks up questionigly* 'and i would wish to know what evidence the accuser has' *goes back to comfarting markinkovas*
"O wiat! He has alrady spoken! All this chaos at the beginning....Marknikovas...guilt or not guilty...Now! Than the acuser give the eidence..and you can defend..."
Umbar, we have not even started to debate over this case yet, it is impossible to determine the verdict yet. and you are supposed to decide who is guilty, after much debate.
"No, Vegnece! I will ask the quistion later on agian! The denfedent now say if he is guilty or nor guilty! I he says not...we will proceed with evidence and stuff...if he says guilty, than this is done..."
*Markovnikovas wakes up*
*Boem! Boem! Boem! | ||||
"This is his book that I found at the site!" *Might holds up a Holy Book with the name "Markovnikovas II" on the bottom of the first page.* [Wheres my lawyer?]
Oh my, you've found my book! I've been looking for it since last summer. That book summarizes the life of St.Peter. This only proves that God does indeed support my hard work- he brought me to the place where my long lost book was! Thank you for bringing it here, could I have it back, please?
*Driks a glas of wine [ iUmbar got stressed from this caos...that's why]
Would you like me to read it or the cowboy?
"Eh..who cares! Read it!"
"As the lawyer for the prosecution, I would like to state that I do not have time to do much here, and the accuser must rely on his own brains for the most part. If he wishes for advice, he should send a message to my residence."
[Hmm Thats sucks. I lose!]
{Don't give up yet!} | ||||
"Do you...hik!...proclaim yourself guilty...hic!...might? And where comes the story of tzar peter and god...hic!....now?"
*Septim slams his hammer down. "Sorry, always wanted to do that..."
"Wine?" | ||||
"Judge Septim, I call for Judge Umbar to be removed until he is sobered, for contempt of court."
"Removed?! Waa!?.....Wll..l....hang him! Laywyers place is in hell....!"
"As he is clearly deranged, I would appreciate it if this is done sooner rather than later."
"Hang him!!!!" | ||||
*Markovnikovas II begins reading*
Someone asked me what I was doing last summer... where? At someone's property?
*Umar awakes... | ||||
"I would wish to charge Markovnikovas with the crime of trespassing, some time last summer he was in Might's property, and dropped a book. As Might has clear "No Trespassing" Signs posted about his property, this is illegal."
"Johnson, please remove Umbar, thank you..." *Johnson removes Umbar from the court. "Alright...I was distracted by Umbar's constant talking...please repeat yourself."
"I would wish to charge Markovnikovas with the crime of trespassing,
"Yes...yes...show me the evidence..."
*Erunion holds up the book that Might found in the yard.*
In the name of Lord, first I was accused of burning the barns and stealing cows, now- trespassing. I think that the souls of accusers are not pure and they are trying to come up with a way to get money from the church by accusing me of crimes I did not commit.
My Lord, listen to the words of my client. He is a man of God, and would never have done such a thing. Also, as he has said, you must have either kept the book safe after finding it somewhere, or it would have somehow been lost in cover somewhere. by your city there are no such places. therefore, your accusation is not true. the only piece of evidence you have is proved to have been around for a long time, and you have not presented anymore.
*Umabr walks in (not drunken anymore) and sits next to Septim
Any rolls left? | ||||
*Septim pulls a dinner roll out of his pocket and tosses it to Verll. "A book that belongs to somebody is not sufficient evidence, it could have been borrowed or stolen by somebody else and left on the property, was there any other evidence?"
Erunion holds up the book,
"I find this story about rotting leather in holes and books killing rabbits not the not the best evidence..and we can't punish this priest on only the base of 1...hmm..document (?)...so you'll need to bring more evidence here..."
"I am working on bringing forth more evidence as we speak."
mu lord, i think he measn he is busy preparing more false documents. I must quesstion his findgin of tis book. why were you looking down a rabbit hole? your stroy seems unlikely to me.
"It's not you to say that it's unlickly! That's my and Septims job! Also if it are false documents or not...that's our job too! About what he did in that rabbit hole? Now there is nothing wrong with that quistion..."
"I was not inside a rabbit hole. My client, Mr. Might, found this book jammed partway down the rabbit hole, and a team of forensics found the dead rabbit. Savvy?"
''i would like to speak with one of these foresters..."
