I was just thinking about roleplaying in general, and thought of an idea that other people may be interested in joining in with. Only say you will if your gonna keep on sending the messages though- if people begin to lose interest I will simply write a summarising message to round things off, which I expect to do at some point but this should last for a good part of the era.

Anyhow, I was thinking perhaps we could roleplay in a group through PM, rather than just 1v1. Perhaps in the form of a discussion about made-up circumstances eg. 4 people from different kingdoms involved, discussing about a new kingdom which has arrived in the area. That is just an example, it could be anything- a dispute over who gets to use what areas of land, perhaps. Even just one person asking for advice about their own circumstances, and the others finding the best solution by talking amonst themselves.

So yeah, if you are interested in trying this out I'd like to give it a go. It would work by each person sending their PM to everyone else in the group, so everyone knows whats going on.

Also, if someone knows a reason why this would not get RP points please post saying why.

It wouldnt be too complicated. It could be made simpler by the messages being in turn, so two people who were online at the same time could send 5 or 6 messages, then everyone else has to come back online, read through them all then send their own message. If it was done by people who have regularly roleplayed in the past and who are active enough to send a message say once every couple of days, it would tick over at a good pace to keep it going but not so quickly that people start missing things.
