'Twas the darkest night of the year, and the only light the guards could see was that of the still-burning torches that lined the cordoors of the musty old castle. For many years, Castle Van Dracul had been the keep of the Count Van Dracul, but now it was his tomb. As they entered the gateway, a strange and sinister noise echoed up from the catacombs below... where the count's body was burried...

Samulis walked into town, his tired warhorse teading wearily behind him. For years he had wondered the lands, looking for employment by the many lords as a Doppelsoldner, or elite mercanary, as the meaning goes. Now all he was seeking was a nice warm bed and some comfort from the rain. 'What a dreary night...' he said, looking up. Suddenly, the clouds parted for a moment to reveal a full moon. '... and what a spooky one.' He shook himself off and continued along the trail.

Soon, he came to a castle, outside of which stood a dozen men-at-arms, each and everyone of them with eyes as big as saucers. "look! Someone's comming! Help us!" cried one of them.

'What happened here?' asked Samulis as he glanced at the broken down gate.

'We were wondering if you could help us, there was a... problem... in erm... the castle. Please, just follow us!' the millitaman begged.

'Ok...' said Samulis.

Sign-ups end on friday. You get to help the Men-at-Arms solve the problem. This will be a post-a-day RP, it's not very hard, just post somthing. Some basic requests: 1. no godmodding, 2. no pointless murdering, 3. no Out-of-role talking unless fully required. If you go inactive, you get thrown in the moat. :)
