---|---|---|---|---|
I want to try out an ordered Rp, i.e people post in a designated order. So the story, Basics: You are in a recuring battle against the undead, think zombies and nasty people xD. Rules: No guns or anything modern, this is a fantasy based Rp. and ABSOLUTELY NO WINNING! or loseing, it's called endless for a reason. (You may put side stories in it.) You first posts don't have to be roleplaying, it's only complusary once I make the order. Lets get going people! ^-^ ANY SP@M AND I WILL REPORT IT TO THE MOD IN MY KD Enjoy People [ In loving Memory of Lord Seloc ] | ||||
I'm in! I came last in the last one of these, but that shall not happen again especially if Plato joins. | ||||
Oh btw - State your army, where they are from, a little back story ;] S>R | ||||
Sir Alban marched forth with his men, all three thousand of them. He was silent, mounted on his horse, looking away into the distance. A black line appeared on the horizon, and when they were closer, was revealed to be a wall. Alban continued towards it, mentally planning where he would put his troops. He hoped that their were arrow slits in the wall, as it would help him enormously. He reached the wall, and climbed up it, without bothering to check the wall's condition for now. He stared out over the plains. laid out in front of him, was the army of the undead. [[in case it isnt obvious, im joining lol]] | ||||
oops I didnt see what you put sausage roll, I posted as you did lol. ill do that now, unless what I put is ok | ||||
[ Na, just pop what your guys look like is a nice one :) , like I said 2-3 lines ] | ||||
[kk, ill do it now] Alban turned, and went back down the wall. He looked at his men, deciding which ones to put where. they were all wearing steel armour, and at least half had a bow, all having a sword. few had shields, and this disappointed Alban. The man who had sent them had much wealth, and could have provided the shields. But then the leader of his lands was not known for his generosity. His men all looked tired, so he positioned them in three lines along the wall, strongest at the front, weakest at the back, although a few strong were mixed in with the weak, and vice versa. He nodded his head in satisfaction. All was ready. | ||||
Demonsul, third in line to the Empire of Bronimina | ||||

No, wait till we get more sign ups Cmon people! | ||||
Mr. Charley, or that was what many called him, marched with his army of the Noldor. They were grim soldiers with steel plate mail armor. They were soldiers of the forest and experts with yew bows but were also very adept with the sword. Every man of his carried a yew shortbow and the rest carried yew longbows. All of them carried steel longswords which they were professionals with. Mr. Charley gazed at the horizon and saw the darkness approaching soon......the wait began | ||||
hey what about my goodboys... | ||||
Wraith walked slowly up the wall. As he reached the top, he looked down at his soldiers. 1,000 brave Elves had followed him and they stood here now with the armies of evil marching upon them. These soldiers were the elite. 600 longbow men armed with long, thin arrows, leather armour with mithril chain mail underneath. They also carried a long, thin dagger, perfect for breaking weak chain mail apart in close combat. Wraith only had 100 mages but they were the best of the best. They could cast spells from any class of magic with great intensity so he was pleased. The remaining 300 were battle hardened warriors. Thick mithril plate mail protected them. About half of them carried long swords that glistened blue in the moonlight and a large kite shield. The rest carried halberds. Long and with a cruel, cold axe head they could stop even the mightiest beasts with ease. Although his men all used blue, hardened mithril, Wraith wore a set of chain mail made of some strange, black metal that none of the Elves had ever seen before. On top of that, a set of silver dragon skin hide protected him. He wielded a Longbow, long and made of yew. He had a selection of arrows to rain upon the enemy. Some were long and thin, with a hook so as to cause pain when being pulled out. Others were broader and could crack even the toughest armour, if at the right distance. Wraith also wielded a dirk and a long sword made of the same black metal as his chain mail. It glinted cruelly in the moonlight and a shiver passed down some of the soldiers spines. {Could I be last in the order please and do we describe our walls? =) } | ||||
[Signing up. I kinda need to describe my wall to describe my army, though, so i'll do that as well ;D] Verthias flexed his neck, the aging bones clicking and snaping against each other. He looked up and down the length of his section of the wall. It was an awesome construction - on either side was a huge range of mountains, making this the only pass through them for a hundred miles in any direction. The areas of land nearest to the mountain, perhaps fifty meters thick each, were guarded by a curtain wall about thirty meters high, with two towers anchoring the line for each - one built into the face of the mountain, with firing slots that could cover a 180 degree angle, and the other perched on the edge of the huge canyon in the middle of the pass. One hundred meters across, and a hundred and fifty deep, the canyon had a river flowing at the very bottom, which plummeted the whole 150 meters through a waterfall; heading out of the fortress and into the sea beyond. Most impressively, however, was the huge wall that covered the canyon. One hundred and eighty meters high, on a level at the top with the curtain wall, it was twenty five meters thick - thick enough to fend the strikes of a god, and hardened with magic and blood and metal. It had three towers - two smaller ones built into the silvery-grey rock of the wall itself, and a third in the very centre which was even higher than the wall. At the top of that one, siege engines with the power to throw a four-ton rock into the floodplains far, far below lurked. Verthias clicked and cracked his way up to the central keep, behind the wall, which was the second and last line of defense. The fortifications seemed less impressive by far than those of the valley - the walls only twenty meters thick, and circling a tower of fifty. Any force that could breach the curtain wall could surely take this fortification. Or so they would think. He reached the top of the tower, and saw what he had came for. Stretching out to the giant crystal, the Fortress Heart, he summoned all that remained of his abilities, and reached out into the soil and the rock and the river and the skies... His conciousness drove deep into the earth, seeking out the bones of the thousands of soldiers who had died defending and attacking this place. Finding them, one by one, the call came... Arise His conciousness delved far into the stone of the walls, searching for the pulses of life imbued into the wall so long ago, just in case of this very eventuality. One by one, he hunted them down, and the call came... Arise! His conciousness finned and slipped around in the tide of water flowing down the valley, looking for the dark, deep eddies around which water flowed and was absorbed, and reached out to them - one by one. The call came... Arise! His conciousness leapt and flew high into the air, detecting the drifting pockets of magic and gases that had been placed there so long ago. Focusing on them, one by one, the call came... ARISE! He fell back from the crystal, gasping. His powers were all but spent in ensuring the safety of this place, his frail frame drained. Staggering to the window, he looked upon his creations, the final defenders of the wall in it's time of need. And he saw that it was good... [Keeping up the good old Verthian tradition of extraordinarily long posts since 1982] | ||||
Nice post Vethias. =) P.s. I change just my longsword to Khukuri, if thats ok. I couldn't remember the name till a few minutes ago. The rest of the soldiers still have longswords. =) | ||||
wow, verthias, wow... | ||||
Indeed. Note also that i'm keeping up my fine old tradition of not using *leans over and spits on the floor* normal walls and soldiers xD | ||||
- Demonsul [ Septim, Im waiting for you too show up ... xD , you too all the rest... Verll, Lew ,Seloc, Might, Sal , Val ! WANT YOU ALL HERE >:( ] | ||||
verthias, bah. Ill beat you! | ||||
Alban, this is a co-op game | ||||
Co-op? this is a competition, always has been always will be..at least I hope it is... | ||||
[ill join, can i join the undead side if its allowed] | ||||
Goodboys, this is an ordered cooperative RP. NO-ONE CAN BE THE UNDEAD, BECAUSE THAT WOULD DEFEAT THE PURPOSE OF THE RP! This isn't just for fun, this is a COMPETITION! | ||||
goodboys, a little advice: Step one: go away Step Two: find a wall Step Three: Bang your head against the wall until you realise what you said was stupid Step Four: Die
:-) | ||||
Oh sure.....I shortened mine by a lot b/c I thought I had to be short......mine was like 2 paragraphs.......oh well...give this some time b/c not everyone is on all the time =\ | ||||
lolz I posted mine in several pieces lol | ||||
Indeed, Demonsul. *glares at Goodboys* Also, would you mind helping me with a little experiment? You see, we need to find out what colour infra-black is. We hear that it can be acheived under experimental conditions by following the steps that Alban gave you. The colour that flashes in your eyes, behind the pain, just before you die, is infra-black. Please attempt to remain concious for long enough to tell us what it looks like, okay? | ||||
yes, indeed. | ||||
My description was very generalized since I cut out a lot of info.....should I redo it? or just add it in with the wall description? | ||||
ether way charley. It isnt all that important as this isnt the actual competition yet, you wont get kicked out if it is bad yet. | ||||
........from now on.........1 page long responses so that I shall not lose >_> (hah just kidding there...) | ||||
lol I will manage about a page of A4, maybe more | ||||
Lol Revenge you make it sound like I died or something, sorry though I'm a bit busy with exams to start such a demanding roleplay. | ||||
Oh, it's not demanding on you. You don't even have to read the replies, just decide which person's name you dislike the most and say they lost ;D | ||||
That doesnt sound like much fun >_> I thought it would be a little better than that....better save yourself or im out X_x | ||||
i dont care who judges it, as long as someone who CARES does | ||||
Wait....what am I thinking? lol I thought for a second that Verthias was in charge of this X_x lol.... | ||||
Ohh. I hope I haven't sucessfully murdered this RP. You do know that that was a joke, right? :'(. When will the order be, Sausage? | ||||
....... | ||||
Actually, I meant the order as to what we're meant to be defending from, not the order that we were going to be posting in... but nevermind, Alban. You can have a cookie for your valiant efforts. | ||||
*eats the cookie* | ||||
hehehehe sorry guys but i really loved warcraft and specially dota... | ||||
can I just go first? | ||||
Start the busses! (clap clap clap clap clap) Star the busses! | ||||
Charley, do we decide ourselves what is attacking us, or follow Seloc's example and get told? Personally, I'd prefer to make it up, but that might make it hard to compare people's posts ;D | ||||
Lol im nowhere near in charge.....I just showed up expecting a fun adventure to pass the time......but its supposed to be- "You are in a recuring battle against the undead, think zombies and nasty people xD." So seems self explanitory....how it will work....I have no clue X_x (should we describe our walls?) | ||||
Indeed. So, if you haven't already, describe your wall now. We'll decide what exactly is attacking us when everyone's done with that. | ||||
since when are you in charge verthias? | ||||
