As the fires spread across Mantrax Viceroy Hector of Serenity looked out upon the lands he now controlled. He began to think that with so much land he could rule a kingdom of his own instead of submitting to the power of King Fordius.

            And so ended the Era of Jeker finished with ideas of freedom and revolutions.

The Kingdom of Serenity quickly learnt however that its power was no as great as they had thought, Early in the era known as the Era of Adelbert chaos spread across the lands of Serenity as armies pillaged and burnt their way towards the capital, City after city fell to the armies of Legacy, As Serenity fell around him Viceroy Osiris was forced to flee the kingdom he once called home in search of new lands to conquer,

After years of searching a new kingdom was born Abydos, Osiris alongside his General Oya and many knights formed this new kingdom on the former lands of Invicta, As Abydos grew in strength knights from across the many realms of Fantasia came to fight under the banner of the Great Eye, The council of knights consisted of such men as Sir Crom and Sir Firestorm who increased the power of Abydos.

The Era of Adelbert ended with the fledgling kingdom finding its feet.

            The beginning of the Era of Leo saw the power of Abydos grow and grow, The Kingdom now had such hero’s as General Oya General Goek and High Mage Akanke to lead the knights of the realm, more knights arrived to fight under the Eye, Knights such as Sir Elsin, Sir Xuaron and Sir Seth.

            The Empires neighbouring Abydos did not take kindly to such an army being assembled. The Noob Table declared war on Abydos and their armies swept through the lands like wildfire, many men fought and died defending the lands of Abydos but it was not enough, after a mighty battle Abydos found themselves banished from the promised lands of Fantasia to the wastelands of Mantrax.              

Shocked by such a rapid defeat the armies of fowl went unnoticed right until they threw themselves upon the hastily prepared defence of the knights, Abydos would not go down so quickly this time, the generals had learnt the arts of war well from their encounters with the Noob Table, the hordes of fowl were driven back away from the lands of Abydos, the advantage was pressed and fowl were forced back until before the walls of their capital city they were utterly destroyed.

And so the Era of Leo ended with the annihilation of the kingdom of fowl in the wastelands and the overwhelming victory of Serenity of Legacy.

            The Era of Draiken began and cheers went up from the knights of Abydos, we had returned to the promised lands, new knights joined the fight under the banner of Abydos as others fell, Generals Oya and Goek lead the armies of the great pharaoh Osiris, Sir Venomz and prince Togglo joined the fight for the great eye.

            The great Pharaoh announced to the council of Abydos that an alliance had been agreed between the great kingdoms of Abydos Legacy and Narrse, And with these new allies we would crush all who oppose the rule of the great Eye.

The First kingdoms who opposed the new rulers of Fantasia were Heaven and Mirror. Heaven foolishly attacked the mighty kingdom of Legacy; the war was quick as Heaven was utterly destroyed. Mirror took up arms against the Pharaoh but after a long and bloody war the armies of Abydos fell upon Mirror and crushed them. Sir Elsin was the greatest of the knights in this battle. Soon all rebellion died and all thoughts of revolution passed from knowledge. A new threat was rising a threat that would shake the world of fantasia to its core. The Warlocks of the wastelands plotted against the high lords of Legacy. They used all of their magical abilities to defy the ancient gods and wreak havoc on the lands of Legacy and Narrse. The lands of Abydos remained untouched, The Attacks by the evil warlocks did more damage to the great Pharaoh as rulers began to doubt his honour, many held him responsible for the atrocious acts of the wasteland rulers.

And so the era of Draiken came to an end with the outcry of hundreds at the ancient rules broken this era and the great alliance crumbling.

During the fires that ravaged the great libraries of Abydos the scrolls that contained the history of the Era of Saint Paul and the Era of Sparker.

The great Chaos as it is now known began at the Start of the Second era of Sparker. With the gods enraged by the debauchery and decadence of the Kingdoms of the world they threw down great balls of fire and ice to destroy them, A decree was made that no Kingdom over the size of 3 Lords would be allowed to exist.

            This was a disaster for the mighty realm of Abydos, The Great king Osiris Watched his lands crumble into dust and ruins, with a mighty anger Osiris and his loyal knights tore into the sunset searching for a way to take down the gods.

After two eras of the world gone Osiris and his knights finally found what they were looking for, the knowledge to destroy the gods themselves. Using this knowledge Osiris dissolved the covenant of the gods bringing down their petty rules of three lords per kingdom.

            Osiris did not return to his former lands, the great lords Osiris Oya and Crom found the fertile lands of starta a perfect place to build a powerbase for the new kingdom of Abydos. The Borg were the only thing standing in the way, with their new found allies the future kingdom of Jester they fought off the forces of the Borg and laid the foundations for a new world.

And so the Second era of Draiken began with Abydos growing in forces and skill with every passing year.

            The world had changed but the major Leaders had not. Osiris once again found himself face to face with the warlord Fordius and his kingdom of Hearts, Abydos and their new allies Spaghetti launched a full scale invasion of Hearts in an effort to defend their friends in the Jesters, Hearts were beaten back and the allied forces of Abydos and Spag were on the verge of victory when dark tidings from the north came.

            The Evil kingdom of Baccus had been watching the war with hope in their dark hearts. After the sacrifice of many young children to their devious gods they set out to attack the weakened walls of the valiant Abydos. Their surprise attack was partially successful as Abydos lost the western lands and fell into decline.

The Second era of Draiken ended with the political climate changing all the time.

            The Era of Ezatious saw The Kingdom of Abydos allied to Legacy for a second time in an effort to defeat the vile kingdom of Vendetta. While Legacy forces locked horns with the forces of Vendetta, Abydos found themselves surrounded by the PHI empire and Carnage. A peace was formed with phi but a route to the Vendetta homelands could not be found, Abydos did not have long to wait however as the despicable PHI empire broke their words of peace and attacked, Those actions will forever label PHI as dishonourable nap Breakers. Despite their surprise attack PHI could not break the Abydos lines and a stalemate was achieved until the era came to a fiery end.

The Era of Virgin started with Abydos forming naps with Baccus monks and the Kingdom of Mirror. While Baccus and Mirror warred each other Abydos annexed the nearby lands of all small kingdoms until they came border to border with the mighty Legacy, Abydos was widely known as the second most powerful kingdom at this time in history, armed with this knowledge they decided to invade the most powerful kingdom ever known…. Legacy.  After many years of warfare a stalemate was reached, as Abydos commanders were deciding the best way to destroy the Legacy walls a gift from the gods appeared as Baccus and Only U launched mass invasions of the Legacy lands.. After they had weakened the walls of Legacy Carnage launched their opportunistic invasion further weakening them.

        Abydos saw their chance and broke through the Legacy lines this resulted in the souls of over two million Legacy men being lost in mere days. The gods however as always had lain a curse upon their blessing. The high leaders of Legacy decided that all their ill tidings had been the fault of Abydos and most likely Osiris. They would have their revenge one day.

That day was not far off

The Era of Crisscross started incredibly well for Abydos. Leading the era from the start they were involved in mass warfare.

            Many kingdoms died by the swords of the war hungry Abydonians and many more looked on in fear.

Legacy hurt by their recent decline decided the time to strike was now. After signing Naps with almost every major kingdom they came after Abydos… And so Abydos found itself fighting the combined forces of Eight Kingdoms at once.   The Battle was short and bloody, great warriors from both sides died on the battlefield as Abydos was all but exterminated.

The Era of Amon Hen proved to be the last and most successful of Abydos’s History.

An Alliance was signed with the Kingdom of Zeon as we set out to get revenge on Legacy. The Alliance was expanded to include the old friends from Jester.

            The Alliance fell upon Legacy with all its fury destroying their core and forcing them to flee north. After their great victory two new threats appeared, Carnage and Phi were at our borders, it was Carnage who made the first hostile acts forcing the Leaders of Abydos to agree peace with the PHI Empire. A long and bloody battle took place with the hordes of carnage being absolutely destroyed at one point, The walls of carnage still stood as an unbreakable barrier and the war turned to a stalemate. Only one thing remained the unprecedented growth of the Abydos economy, Legacy made a mighty comeback later in the era embarrassing the PHI empire with their show of skill and determination but Abydos were just too big at that point.

A race developed between Osiris and Seth. A race to be named Champion by the gods. After expanding their lands as much as possible it looked like Osiris would be the winner but as usual VU is never clear cut. With a mere fifteen hours until the gods chose the evil kingdom of Legacy had their revenge, the rear guard of Osiris’s army was slain by Legacy time ran out. Osiris had lost with fifteen hours to spare.

And So ends the History of the Kingdom Of Abydos… Sometimes friend sometimes for but always their.

A list of the mightiest Lords Ladies Knights and Generals of Abydos to fight and die for the great red eye was compiled shortly before its downfall these names are all that remains.

Will Abydos be returning anytime soon?
