The Village V - information
11:22:33 Jan 1st 09 - Mr. Salaracen The Good Dancer:

Okay so this game requires no constant tallying of stats by players and the only thing you will actually need to remember is whats been going on in the story so far and what group of people you control. I'm going to call the 'Group of people you control' thing, 'Class'.

CLASSES

To cancel out complexity I'm choosing the 'Classes'

1 Michael Deallus - War chief (Commands infantry and other military captains ie Septim and Hirgon, Controls 70 men)

Michael will command the general military in the colony. This includes giving orders to the "Head Rider' and  "Hawk eye". Michael will need to use tactics, for example, when advancing through areas that may be dangerous or inhabited by an enemy.

2 Septim - Head rider(Doesn't mean you ride heads) (Captain of Cavalry controls 34 men on horses)

Septim Leads the horsemen into combat. In order to come out ontop in combat he will need to command his men well by giving them objectives to do within combat. Also he must consider the horses, terrain must be sufficient for optimum performance. They may be invaluable in this dangerous landscape and you only have a certain amount, 34, and when one dies you cant get it back, so watch out!

3 Hirgon - Hawk eye (Commander of the archer division, Controls 18 Archers)

Operating a pocket of Archers is not nearly as easy as in sounds. To find good positions for you men to actually be effective can be a hassle. Managing equipment can be a pain as well, considering that there has to be ammunition to use with the bows and arrows. Also being able to support other troops on the battlefield is something that makes archers stand out from other soldiers in the village, in a sense that they can do it from a range. Archers are also good for scouting missions.

4 Demonsul - Captain of the Vessel 'Our lady', Organizer of the colony. (The boss, commands all 000)

Now that he survived the voyage Demonsul may now command his passengers to successfully run the colony. Demonsul must make sure there is enough housing for everyone, enough food, enough work and protection.
(I will extrapolate on this later)

5 Wraith - Head mage (Commands 3 mages, Fali gorha, Dirki lon and Fellhand stori)
(Extrapolating later) You may order your three mages to use magic in anyway they can, for helpful purposes.

6 Killer - Beastmaster (Controls 40 men)

Many of the beasts of the new world are highly dangerous, poisonous, powerful and quick. All qualities that are highly sought after in a world where war is often and only the strongest may survive. The beastmaster must order his men to make controllable the beasts that he sees fit. Once a beast is tamed many things may be done with it, for example, being added to the riders unit, being used in agriculture (In more ways than one).

7 Electric - Scholars (Controls 9 men)

The wise men of the colony. After studying substances for a while they will know what makes it tick or  if its poisonous. Generally They can study anything and come up with something that can be done with it/about it. You as leader Electric have to assign research tasks to your academics.

8 Vishnu - Farmer - (Controls 79 Men)

The responsiblity of feeding an entire coloney.... On YOUR shoulders. This is also paired with hunting down animals/getting someone else to kill it for you and preparing it.

9 Rhade - Labourer - (Controls 220 men)

This is possibly the most important part of the game. The labourers clear away trees, building buildings, mine for ore, anything that doesnt require long term training.

10 Travis - Captain of the Guard (Law enforcement, Controls 20 guards)

Well, to make sure a population is safe you must have guards stationed around at all times.

11 Gigant - Blacksmith (in control of 60 men)

In the new world the need for weapons and protection will be great, the black smith will only really get started once the town is fully underway, considering the effort a blacksmith requires.

I chose some people for certain classes due to how well they make decisions/how well they suite the role.
And don't think I'm playing favorites just because I may choose the more active RP'ers for more complex roles.

(Extrapolation to come)

11:51:55 Jan 1st 09 - Prince Valan Septim:

...I'm going to be disobediant! No way in hell I'm following Deallus's orders without question! XD

12:19:52 Jan 1st 09 - Mr. Salaracen The Good Dancer:

Well, that could be part of your character, 'The officer whom dis obeys his commanders orders due to direct recklessness with the lives of his men"

Maybe?

12:37:59 Jan 1st 09 - Mr. Salaracen The Good Dancer:

By the way, a little back story here,
....

The Realm of Gorr has finally met its boundaries in the frosty lands of it origin.
In a dream one night, Barvorus Gorr saw a vision of a land of gold and glory. And so he ordered several expeditions, 1 of which actually discovered said land. But as it came back, half the crew was dead and those who survived where now barely sane, gibbering and Jabbering about beasts, some that towered over a man twenty times by far and some that travel through the muds of swamps and pull unwary travelers under.

To learn of the existence of such a place was a reality was all that Barvorus Gorr needed. So weeks later a vessel by the name of  'Our lady' was sent off to the shore of the new world guided by a few sketchy maps.

*The people of Gorr are similar to vikings, only they don't use metal for armour except their helmets and shields. The wear fur alot, mainly as capes.
Oh, they also all have great pecks. Except the women... that would be just weird...

Well, that could be part of your character, 'The officer whom dis obeys his commanders orders due to direct recklessness with the lives of his men"

Maybe?

More like:

An old, seasoned cavalry officer that refuses to change with the times. He is very good at what he does, but he refuses to obey an order that he doesn't agree with.

:-D

13:41:20 Jan 1st 09 - Mr. Salaracen The Good Dancer:

Haha yeah,

Also, your Norwegian....

15:40:29 Jan 1st 09 - Duke Michael Deallus:

*Sucker punches Septim*

"Me Warchief! You listen to orders or be sacrificed!"

Besides, everyone is an ex-convict or criminal right?

15:45:17 Jan 1st 09 - Mr. Salaracen The Good Dancer:

Yeah I took away that privilege
Instead, your willing partisipants, unaware of the grave dangers ahead of you.

Like Norwegian tourists going to Jurassic park...

15:59:34 Jan 1st 09 - Mr. Electric:

LOLWUT

I don't see why you guys are WHINING LIKE BABIES when I control 9 men!

16:52:27 Jan 1st 09 - Sir Karzun Demonsul:

Muahahaha! I are the leader! You does what I says!

This cheered me up after my massive story vanished in First Contact...

16:55:59 Jan 1st 09 - Sir Hirgon Sadron:

Septim = "An old, seasoned cavalry officer that refuses to change with the times. He is very good at what he does, but he refuses to obey an order that he doesn't agree with."

Hirgon = A young, headstrong archery officer who may also occasionally disobey orders with which he doesn't agree.  Michael, it looks like we're going to make this fun (and difficult) for you.  =)

17:02:30 Jan 1st 09 - Sir Hirgon Sadron:

Oh...because I just noticed this...

I get a friggin' awesome title!

17:20:47 Jan 1st 09 - Mr. Salaracen The Good Dancer:

I'm glad your all enjoying what you guys got!...

Electric, you command not only 9 guys, but 9 old guys!!

17:22:56 Jan 1st 09 - Mr. Travis Leiondon:

Yay, a gourd commander!  Erm, I mean, guard...

Yay!

17:25:36 Jan 1st 09 - Mr. Salaracen The Good Dancer:

It means you get to beat up old and poor people!

17:42:17 Jan 1st 09 - Mr. Travis Leiondon:

Wait, what?  No, guards just keep the order.  Stopping burglars, beating up bandits, and umm, GUARDing places.  The life of a guard right there.  Oh, and beer is somewhere in there too.

19:21:25 Jan 1st 09 - Mr. Killer:

Brilliant, beastmasters. You'll also have a hard time Septim and Vishnu, you need me to get you animals, which I probably won't manage to get. Better make those horses last Septim.

19:23:18 Jan 1st 09 - Sir Karzun Demonsul:

Killer, as your CO or thereabouts, I order you to get better at your job!

19:56:17 Jan 1st 09 - Lord Frost Wraith:

Out of curiosity, how does the magic in this RP work? ;p
And why are any of you complaining? I'm the leader of a massive THREE mages xD Woop, I love the role though ;p

19:56:55 Jan 1st 09 - Mr. Travis Leiondon:

Sal, I don't mind about making maps of the land we were sent to.

20:26:15 Jan 1st 09 - Mr. Electric:

I have a hard time even trying to make one..don't look at me

20:27:49 Jan 1st 09 - Sir Karzun Demonsul:

I offered already Travis, Sal is making the map.

20:29:34 Jan 1st 09 - Mr. Travis Leiondon:

Electric, no one cares about your inadequate map drawing skills... suck it up, jeez.

00:27:15 Jan 2nd 09 - Mr. Gigant:

HaHa no weapons for you guys

02:58:53 Jan 2nd 09 - Mr. Salaracen The Good Dancer:

Oooo, I see this is going to be a successful colony....

[[In the mean time, Ima play the sims!!!]]

03:11:40 Jan 2nd 09 - Duke Michael Deallus:

03:13:23 Jan 2nd 09 - Mr. Vishnu:

Woot? Farming.....oh joyous days...

P.S. I'm a god they should all be sacrificing people for me, and giving me food...

03:23:47 Jan 2nd 09 - Duke Michael Deallus:

...right...

04:15:44 Jan 2nd 09 - Mr. Angelrobot:

Well vishnu is a god in Hinduism isn't it?

04:33:45 Jan 2nd 09 - Duke Michael Deallus:

Doesn't matter on here...besides being a god in an RP is rather boring ;)  of course I am a "demigod" on this forum. ;)

05:05:42 Jan 2nd 09 - Mr. Rhade:

I control a lot of men...good...I must now form an army....yes....I shall conquer all!  RAWR!

05:54:45 Jan 2nd 09 - Duke Michael Deallus:

Oh no! Rise of communism X_x

06:04:13 Jan 2nd 09 - Mr. Vishnu:

06:25:28 Jan 2nd 09 - Duke Michael Deallus:

...I can go back in time so that what you do does not happen! Muahaha

06:31:48 Jan 2nd 09 - Mr. Angelrobot:

but I can freeze u while ur going back in time... for eternity...

06:37:36 Jan 2nd 09 - Duke Michael Deallus:

...not really...I meant go back in time as in delete your post so that it never happened...but that would be abuse so I shall not ;)  Just don't mess up the RP :D I wanted to be in The Village IV but did not think I wrote well enough at the time.

09:27:41 Jan 2nd 09 - Sir Karzun Demonsul:

"Vishnu, as your boss, I order you to get over all this sacrifice business...or at least accept animal sacrifices."

*looks at Killer

09:54:57 Jan 2nd 09 - Mr. Gigant:

*starts to walk away

"well Id better get started on all the equipment needed, Time machine, Weapons for Communist uprising, knifes for animal or human sacrifices.

*sighs

14:46:12 Jan 2nd 09 - Sir Karzun Demonsul:

"Gigant, as I have gone mad with power, go get me a bit of paper with emperor of the universe written on it!"

*considers Gigant's job

"On second thought, hammer the words into a bit of metal!"

15:18:23 Jan 2nd 09 - Mr. Killer:

"Sacrifice animals? Hell no. Only to eat them, or if we are in danger of them. They're way more useful than people."

[I know you're going to explain all later Salaracen, but will the population grow? And if so, can we train the people to do anything we want?(of course by we, I mean Demonsul...)]

16:24:14 Jan 2nd 09 - Mr. Electric:

"I'm useful!"

*One of the scholars throws a bit of itch-causing moss at gigant and vishnu*

16:54:54 Jan 2nd 09 - Mr. Vishnu:

*Vishnu dodges behind one of his workers*
*itches balls* (did he miss it?)

17:06:16 Jan 2nd 09 - Sir Karzun Demonsul:

*looks at the fighting that has broken out on his ship [I guess since this is the pre-game, we are still in the ship, waiting to reach land]

"Stop that right now! We will not have any fighting on this ship! We will need to work as a team if we are going to survive when we reach land!"

18:39:53 Jan 2nd 09 - Mr. Travis Leiondon:

22:26:30 Jan 2nd 09 - Mr. Rhade:

"I would never bend to democratic capitalist influences as such! "

*Orders his workers to construct a landfall banner reading "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs" *

"Viva el comunismo!!"

04:34:38 Jan 3rd 09 - Mr. Salaracen The Good Dancer:

Did I mention you're all Norwegian?

04:49:49 Jan 3rd 09 - Mr. Gigant:

*scratches himself

"Does anyone not want to fight with each other cause I working at my wits end here"

*drops to ground trying to scratch his itches

"da-am el-electric"

11:15:17 Jan 3rd 09 - Sir Karzun Demonsul:

*runs over to Sal

"NEVAAAAAAAAAAR!"

*stabs Sal repeatedly

"I will never involve myself in an RP based on real people or places!"

*continues to stab Sal

"Revoke that statement now!"

00:28:18 Jan 4th 09 - Mr. Travis Leiondon:

*Travis grabs Demonsul by the neck and injects him with a calming serum that makes a person either more friendly... or unconscious.*

01:02:21 Jan 4th 09 - Sir Hirgon Sadron:

"Electric, can you have your scholars start research into poisons, so that my archers could start using poison arrows? Oh, don't forget antidotes to whatever poisons discovered, just in case."

*hopes that not everyone wants to fight before they even get off the ship and find a proper enemy*
