[[OOC: Note that this world is not like ours. Nuclear missiles are pretty much very large bombs that burn everything, they also turn everything into a desert. The world still has oceans, but the water has been...radiated.]]
In the year 9702 AC (after-Civilization; after the rise of the first Civilization), the world was set ablaze. Billions fell to the horrors of nuclear war. It is unknown how the war started, some say that Marfor tried to invade Collaria, others say that the tensions finally reached a breaking point between the West and the East (The East was Marfor, Valkond, and Xerillia. The West was Cidel, Collaria, and Serillia). None of it matters, the world is crippled.
The survivors are the small percentage of the people outside of the firespread when the bombs went off. You are one of those people. Your mission, your duty, is to rebuilt society. Eventually, you will be able to restore the planet Erus, or at least part of it, to its former glory.

Sign-ups
You can be almost anything. You can even be soldiers and police officers. Being a former special forces operative won't work though. Keep in mind that your profession before the nuclear war will probably lead you to a similar profession. I will say now that no politicians survived the war. You can control up to ten people, but you must write detailed descriptions of all of them...

When the nuclear bomb hit Cidel City, he was hunting with his brother George, George's wife Alice, George's son Jeffery, Catherine, and John in Harkan Forest. Catherine, John and George's wife were back at the log cabin while George, Jeffery, and James were hunting, but they survived as well.

Experience with weapons: James taught her how to shoot, but she has no interest in hunting.
Weapon: A six-shooter revolver that belonged to James's grandfather.
Bio: Born thirty-seven years ago in Herval, she worked hard and became a successful lawyer. She married James Septim and had a son named John.

Description: Brown hair, green eyes. Average height, average weight.
Experience with weapons: Was trained by the Cidellian Army; reached the rank of Captain.
Weapons: Hunting rifle, hunting knife.
Bio: Born forty years ago in Cidel City. Was very close to his brother growing up. Joined the army at eighteen, afterwards he went to the University of Cidel and became an engineer. He soon married Alice and had a son named Jeffery. He was with his brother, James, and his son Jeffery when the bombs fell.

Description: Blond hair, brown eyes. Average height, average weight.
Experience with weapons: George taught her how to shoot, but she had no interest in hunting.
Weapon: Hunting rifle
Bio: Born thirty-eight years ago in Vernan. She wrote a successful book at the age of twenty-three and since then has written five books, three of which have been well-received. She was with Catherine and John when the bombs fell.

Description: Brown hair, green eyes. Average height for a twelve-year old, average weight for a twelve-year old.
Experience with weapons: George began teaching him to hunt a year ago.

Bio: Born twelve years ago in Herval. He is the son of George and Alice Septim.

Bio:
Born fourty-two years ago in Serillia. He rose through the ranks quickly to become a sergeant in the army. When the bombs began falling he was on his way back from Cidel City where he was meeting an old army friend.

Occupation: (Corrupt) High Court Judge
Description: Brown hair with wisps of gray, brown eyes, a little below average height. Very intelligent and cunning, not particularly strong but with a medium build, very much wealth orientated.
Experience with weapons: Never fired a weapon in his life.
Weapons: Keeps a pistol in his desk at all times due to the dodgy characters he works with, had his pistol on him at the time of the disaster as he was on his way to a meeting with an accomplice.
Bio: Born thirty seven years ago in his hometown of Dumfries in Scotland. He strolled through school and college with high praises from teachers but accused of being a snitch by fellow students and generally disliked. He precided over his first case at the mere age of twenty four. At the age of twenty eight he was involved in a trial fixing scandal. It was this distruption in his career that delayed his progression to the high court (which was still impressively fast)until he reached the age of thirty three. More accusations have been made since his rise to the high court but nothing has been proven.

Bio: Came to Cidel from Bronimina during the '97 economic fallout. Ended up in the '02 nuclear fallout. Not much is known about this shady character, but he occasionally boasts that his bloodline originates from an old Broniminan emperor.

Experience: Was trained by father, who was a police officer, and has experience as a police officer.
Bio: Darin came to Cidel and was a respected cop, and solved many crimes. He will almost never use standard proceedure, just go in and rough up some people. Very trigger friendly, this man is.

Bio: Born thirty two years ago. Joined Cidellian Army at 22 and He was with Zack tracking down an escaped criminal outside of Cidel when the bomb went off.

Description: Tall, physically fit and very strong, one green eye, one brown eye, black hair with streaks of gray.
Experience: has been handling knives and things to stab with since he was a little tyke. He is highly trained in hand to hand combat. He has had first hand experience with firearms but no formal training.
Weapons: Shank assembled in prison from a bedpost
Bio: Born forty seven years ago. He has recently escaped from Cidel’s death row by stabbing a guard with a homemade shank. He lost most of his pursuers after heading into the woods except for the two giving chase before the bomb went off.

Bio: Born 31 years ago, he has no idea how he survived the nukes but he was being treated for post war craziness, has access to a military base, but prefers to keep setting up his small outpost beside it with gear from the base. Isn't very social and won't tell anyone his first name, also obsessed with explosives because of craziness

Description: lower then average height, extra muscle build up, good condition, black eyes, black hair
Experience: Starting sniping at age 11 with a .32 rifle and joined the army as soon as possible, has been serving for 2 years
Weapons: .32 rifle with scope, combat knife
Bio: was out hunting when bomb went off, joined up with "boom-boom" and keep watch over him when hes fortifying their outpost. Pretty social, doesn't go well with "Boom-boom". He still won't tell anyone his real name, says he's always wanted his current name.

Experience: would occasionally go out to shoot his .44 magnum but has no experience with other guns.
Weapons: .44 magnum with scope he found laying around
Bio: was in a car crash and knocked out when bomb went off, wanted to a be a extremely high achiever and often mopes about his lost chances. He often has mood improvements but hes the only doctor around for a while so everyone deals with him.
