The Stormborn
23:49:42 Oct 11th 07 - Mr. Erunion Telcontar:

"The three mages here don't, (That would be myself, Johansen and Lord Alteran.) we can just make the damaged wood grow back into what it was. We can also strengthen it. The rest of us, however, have little more magical talent than you do."

00:00:10 Oct 12th 07 - Duke Tiber Septim IV:

I guess they can't sense the energy...that is good. The less they know about me, the better, at least until I know I can trust them...

"I shall help them then..."

*Septim walks off and starts replacing broken boards.

11:55:44 Oct 12th 07 - Mr. Seloc:

*The 'Blue Ray' had been damaged terribly. There was a giant gaping hole in it's deck. It would have to been striped of it's current one, and be replaced with a new one. Depending on the amount of helpers it would take a week, minimum.*

"Hmmm....Doesn't look good the whole decks gonna need to be replaced, Kon go inform Lord Ragnarr that it will take a week minimum."

*With that Kon rushed away, to relay the message. Leaving Seloc there staring a the giant hole. Reluctently Seloc turned away to gather his crew and make preparations for the new deck.*

15:30:04 Oct 12th 07 - Sir Ragnarr Stormguard:

VII. The Forest's Secret

Once Ragnarr understood about the Blue Ray's terrible conditionfrom Kon, he nodded silently. He took a small parchment and wrote quickly:
~---~
Lord Seloc,
Send a boat with five to ten men on the close shore. We will be needing timber to supply our repairing needs. I will send some as well.
Ragnarr
~---~
He attached it to the Raven and let it loose towards the Blue Ray.
He had gathered nine volunteers to come and set up the timber camp while the rest were busy with the repairs. The longship sailed slowly towards the shallows and stooped seven meters from the shore. As Ragnarr jumped off and splashed in the shallows, he looked towards the land. It was an oak forest, not very dense, yet fresh with its green leaves and warm with the sun rays falling between the leaves.
As soon as they reached soil, they started clearing the area from bushes and small trees. After that they quickly made a small shade from the young trees and leaves and a short pallisade. By the time they started chopping trees, it was midday.
Ragnarr himself went deeper in the forest to see it he can find a Bloodwood Tree so he could pray to the Old Gods. As he went deeper and deeper, he passed by streams, ponds, flowerbeds and century trees. He finally found what he was looking for. The Bloodwood was so tall that its top was hidden behind the leaves and branches of the surrounding trees. Its brownish-red bark was covered in moss and flowers, which seemed to have been there since the tree was.
Ragnarr struck his sword in the soil before the tree and kneeled, leaning on his weapon. He lowered his head and closed his eyes, his lips were moving as he was saying a silent prayer.
Meanwhile, a dark figure was approaching him unseen and quietly...

15:52:41 Oct 12th 07 - Duke Tiber Septim IV:

Septim was one of the people who stayed behind. He hammered a nail in and smashed his finger.

"YOWCH!!!"

*Septim sucks on it for a bit and gets back to work

16:51:27 Oct 12th 07 - Mr. Verll:

Verll was also one of those who stayed behind. But he was sewing together the holes in the sails. He looked at Septim smashing his finger in, and had to laugh a bit, but while he was laughing he managed to pierce himself with the needle so hard that it almost went right through his finger.

"OUCH!!"

17:24:51 Oct 12th 07 - Mr. Seloc:

*Seloc and the 8 others had gone ashore to collect wood. The forest was dense, and silent. The labourers filling the forest with there grunts and curses. Seloc took his hachet and swung, it hit the wood with a dull thud, pierceing the bark and resting in the softer inner layer. Pulling the axe free Seloc swung again.*

17:50:11 Oct 12th 07 - Mr. Erunion Telcontar:

Having studied the hole in the Blue Ray, Erunion knew what he needed. Walking forward, he chose an oak. With a mighty cra*beep* uprooted itself, than the layer of bark peeled off, with the wood slowly widening and changing shape. Eventually, the wood was the size and shape of the hole. Keeping it elevated beside himself, Erunion walked towards Seloc.
"Seloc! Will this do to mend your deck?"

21:25:41 Oct 12th 07 - Sir Ragnarr Stormguard:

Ragnarr showed up at sunset, coming out of the woods to the lumber camp. The men had gathered a good deal of wood, as tomorow they would carve and form it to the elements and parts they needed for the ships. Yet the northman didn't notice that. As he approached them, they could see his armour had fresh blood stains on it.
"Seloc, I suggest we leave the timber under the shade and leave for the ships. It would be safer..."

21:43:51 Oct 12th 07 - Mr. Erunion Telcontar:

Walking forward with the piece of wood, Erunion saw a bloodstained Ragnarr. "Blood and ashes! What happened! Johansen! Alteran! Toreanan! Gather everybody in! Take all that you can, we may have to leave for the ships!"

22:57:08 Oct 12th 07 - Mr. Seloc:

"Erunion I understand your want to help out but please, a ship is like a mother to it's crew, if it gets hurt for it's crew, the crew have to make it better. The crew would take it as an insult if anyone were to repair the 'Blue Ray' that is not of the ship."

*Seloc nodded glumly, at Ragnarr's orders.*

"All crew members of the 'Blue Ray', return to ship."

*Seloc did an about swirl and set of for the boats, climbing in he awaited the rest of his crew. Only seven turned up, the eigth presumably dead. Having loaded the crew aboard, Seloc doubled checked the wood was safe, and away from any giant infestation of bugs, thats could slow down work on the ship, then gave the order for the rowing to comence. The two boats of the 'Blue Ray' made their way slowly back to the mother-ship.*

23:14:55 Oct 12th 07 - Sir Ragnarr Stormguard:

Night came. The boats rowed slowly towards their ships on the silent water, reflecting lights from the ships and the distant stars above. Ragnarr had always heard of strange happenings on this island. It was vast and plentyful on trees and fertile lands, yet when ever someone came to set up a colony, no one heard of him again. Once, a sea captain Ironfounderson had passed by the shore to gather supplies for his way home. Yet when he came back he was mad from terror, his crew was halved and dying from strange wounds and disseases. Maybe it was a foolish thing to do to come and repair the ships on the shore of Kurthyle Island, but it was either that or with damaged ships in the raging sea, which was maddness.
Once his rowboat reached the longship, Erunion and Ragnarr, as well as the others came aboard.
"Sir Bacardi, organize the watches for the night. We'll be needing more, I think." Then he turned to the rest. "I'll take the first watch with Kormac, Hereward and Olaf. The rest, try to get some sleep until it's your turn. Make sure your weapons are ready beside you. Septim, you'll take the second watch with a few others of your own choice. Bacardi, you have the last watch."
As the men dispersed to their work, Kormac came close to Ragnarr.
"What the hell is going on?" he asked.
"Dark elves. They'll attack us this night, I'm sure of it,..."

[ Seloc, presume you have recieved a raven with a message that there would most likely be a fight ]
[ Sorry if I'm not mentioning some of the players, I am busy these days and have difficulty organizing and connecting everything. The map will be delayed. ]

23:17:29 Oct 12th 07 - Mr. Verll:

(OOC) Aren't I like the watch? Should I be on watch all night?

23:32:09 Oct 12th 07 - Mr. Erunion Telcontar:

"Dark elves! The heathens! Blood and ashes, pirates are more than enough. I'll keep my men on guard all night. They'll be able to see in the dark with a simple spell. Keep your men ready at arms. If there is a fight tonight, we will need every hand, and all of them armed."

23:32:41 Oct 12th 07 - Sir Ragnarr Stormguard:

[Verll]::[ No, not really. Watches stand on the bow at day and report everythng they see, such as coming ships and storms and stuff. As at night, several watches (from several men) one after the other, each  (watch) at post for three hours is more practical, as they get to sleep after all, and more men are guarding. ]

00:11:41 Oct 13th 07 - Mr. Verll:

{OOC}Ok, thanks.

20:14:47 Oct 13th 07 - Sir Ragnarr Stormguard:

Even though at watch were only Ragnarr, Kormac, Hereward and Olaf, no one slept. Most of the northmen were sitting, leaning their backs and heads on the timber boards on the Stormborn, with weapons in their hands or laying close behind them. They had their eyes closed, trying to get a simple short nap, yet only the intimidating thought of the dark forest creatures wandered in their minds. Most of the northmen had seen what had become of Ironfounderson and the remains of his crew. Nobody wanted to end up like them.
There was a full moon, which helped Ragnarr see in the distance. He had lit all the torches on the ship, spreading them equally on the deck so no part around the longship or on it remained visable. Hereward had asked the northern lord if it was not foolish to make the ship visable for the dark elves, at which he laughed. "You think the torches will make any difference? With or without them, their sight at night is as good as ours during daytime. At least we can see what were fighting with the light." Ragnarr and his commrades were slowly patrolling around the edges of the deck, looking at the not so distant shore and at the low waves around the tillting longship.
"Ragnarr, I see something between the trees." said Kormac after some time, nervously. His excellent vision was truely remarkable, for he could pierce a rope through on a ship more than fifty meters away in foggy weather. Or so they say,...
"I saw them." replied Ragnarr calmly. The moon light made the different shadows of trees visable. Between their dark figures, others, moving, appeared slowly. They were not much, yet dark elves have always frightened with their stealth movement and quick, swift combat. Even if they were fewer than the men aboard, they still had a great chance of slaughtering them all.
The other two froze in their places. Olaf silently made off to wake the others queitly, while Hereward grabbed his sword hilt.
"Maybe we should..argh.." he said right before an arrow pierced his throat through. Kormac quickly took out an arrow and readied it at his longbow, crouching behind the board. Ragnarr had his sword out.
"TO ARMS!.." he roared in a loud voice, full with authority and roughness.
Right at that moment, when most of the northmen jumped up with their weapons in hands, three figures jumped over the board on the deck. They were difficult to picture in the darkness, as they themselves were darkness, yet their long elven ears and long silver hair was clearly visable.
As they charged quickly forward with out even giving a moment for the men to understand what was happening, others followed them over the board....

[ Seloc, presume the attack on the Blue Ray happens at the same time. Do not worry to write about the moments before the attack on the Blue Ray itself. ]
[ Everybody are awake now. Forget the watches, it open battle. ]

20:29:06 Oct 13th 07 - Mr. Verll:

Verll has always been handy with a knife and sat toying with one when he heard
"TO ARMS!"  Yelled out by Ragnarr. He had not been sleeping because he could not sleep thinking of the dark elves out there.
He had a number of hidden knives around his clothing. He drew another one now as he runs towards the dark elves.
He threw both his knifes, each penetrating the eyes if the enemy.
"Two down" he thought to himself.
He just managed to get a knife from each of his sleeves before it went in close combat. He could not think of anything else then dodging and when the chance, stabbing. He dodged a blow to his head, and in one fluid motion ducked under a swing at his neck and sliced open a belly. He continued to dodge and occasionally stab the elves when he had the chance. It did not go long until he had several little cuts.  Suddenly when he was sidestepping a blow, he slipped on a pool of blood, and saw the sword coming down at him...

20:39:28 Oct 13th 07 - Mr. Seloc:

*The creatures leapt up onto the deck, two stumbled and fell as they obviously expected a solid deck, a third fell directly through the opening in the ship to land beside the rowing decks. Men were rising from their so called slumbers, with weapons out ready to engage the enemy.
Seloc drew his saber, as a dark shadow appeared behind him. Without a word it thrust it's.....double sided spear? at him, at such a speed that Seloc barely had time to deflect it. A faint thud as another shadow appeared behind Seloc and thrust his weapon. Seloc fell to the floor as the blade pierced his back, and was renched free again. Blood spurted from the hole, drowning Seloc's back in it's deadly warmth.*

"What do yo........*cough**splutter*"

21:19:30 Oct 13th 07 - Mr. Erunion Telcontar:

The Naergothrendarins were fully awake when the attack came. Unfortunately, the Dark Elves had somehow managed to get through the alarm ward without being sensed.
"Hell and damnation! The enemy are upon us! Hold them back! Into pairs men!" Following the bellowed orders, the Naergothrendarin Elves ran into pairs, one assisting the other at all times. "Slay these heathen scum! These filth have sworn themselves to darkness! They will have no mercy at our blades! Forward!" Charging forward, the Naergothrendarins met the Dark Elves who were already on board, cutting their enemies deeply with the mighty Trendarats, parrying blows with the forearm guards, and driving the rose-thorn spikes into the thighs of the Dark Elves, with well placed kicks. The assailants however were agile, and avoided the near-impentrable spots on the Naergothrendarin's armour.
"Johansen! Light up the deck!" In response to those words, a great flare of light burst out above the deck, and remained suspended there. "Alteran, with me!"
Charging forward the two Naergothrendarin lords were devastating. Where the magically forged blades struck, great gouts of flame burst out. "Alteran! remind me to thank Yerasal the next time I see him! This armour has already saved my life thrice!" Dodging or parrying blows, and striking with lighting speed and snakelike motion, Erunion slashed the head off of one elf, broke the spear of another in two, the blade continuing on to the body. To the left he ran, never seeing the sphere of darkness that smashed into his body, sending him flying....

21:32:29 Oct 13th 07 - Duke Tiber Septim IV:

Septim stood locked in combat with two dark elves. They struck fast and Septim fought hard to keep them at bay until one of them let his guard down and Septim slashed his throat. Septim then turned his attention towards the other one, the Dark Elf slashed at Septim's head with his blade and Septim ducked, Septim took the opportunity to knock the Dark Elf's legs out from under him. Septim rose and held the sword to the Dark Elf's throat, he stabbed the sword in and blood came out. Septim turned to see three Dark Elf archers aiming at him, so Septim quickly grabbed the dead Elf's body and used it as a shield, he then held it in front of him as he made his way to cover.

22:46:26 Oct 13th 07 - Sir Ragnarr Stormguard:

[ Lineage is the closest I got to a dark elf. Forgive the poor image supply. ]

As Erunion mystical light and fire lit the whole ship, it was as if the dark elves lost something. Dark fumes arose around them, as they started to fight more fiercly.
Ragnarr had his sword out and had nearly gone berserk. After the first wave of dark attackers had hit them, he had two arrows in his hand, one in his leg above the knee and three slashed on his chest and shoulder. A spear had hit him, nearly hitting his chest, yet only taking off some of his flesh from his side. He was choking blood. Yet he had forgotten all his pains by the time the second wave swept the deck. The only thing that existed now was the enemy and the sword in his hand.
"Yarr!" he shouted as he swung with his whole force towards three dark elves. Even though they were legendary for their quick dodging and stealth movement, his great-sword had taken off the head of the first, opened a gushing wound on the chest of the other and took a part off the third's arm. He slashed again, this time at some elf at his side, readying for an attack with two blades. Ragnarr's sword hit the first blade, sending it flying to the waves, yet the other was too quick for him. It came as quick as some demonic force, slashing at his face, opening a wound on his cheek, nearly taking away his eye. The northman stabbed in fury, killing the attacker at the instant.
The dark elves had lost the cover of darkness because of Erunions spell and lost their confidence in attack in front of the furious northman...

23:05:15 Oct 13th 07 - Mr. Erunion Telcontar:

{OOC: Give credit where credit is due, it's Johansen's spell... :P}

Meanwhile, the battle was going fiercely along, Alteran, seeing the Duke's fall, yelled over to Johansen; "Wake up the Duke! He's been hit by something!" Johansen ran over, and touched Erunion's forehead. "He's out, and is being held out, I haven't the time to break whatever dark spell has been cast upon him, we must finish the battle without him! Toreanan! Find out who cast this! We can't afford them to take more of us out this way!"
Yelling back, Toreanan replied "They seem to be protecting someone over there, I'll make a push for it! Tenard! Frelan! Fintar! Follow me!"
"I and Texenan we'll come from the side!" Yelled Altaran.
The first group ran forward, when another darker-than-night globe flew out of the knot of dark elves. It exploded, knocking Toreanan and Tenard to the ground, completely unconscious. Frelan and Fintar, both armed with Ashienderi, (Sword staff,  and shamelessly stolen from WOT...) stabbed and hacked at the defenders, Frelan was stabbed through the eye, however. At about that moment, Alteran caused an explosion on his side of the dark elves, killing two, and knocking the others back, revealing a dark elf sorcerer in the center, with a rapidly growing orb of black. Texanan, with great presence of mind, had his bow out, and shot an arrow into the sorcerer, whom in hit in the shoulder, knocking down, and causing the orb to implode, the vacuum created brought several dark elves to the ground, and the small group were slain, except the sorcerer, who managed to teleport back to the beach...

23:08:47 Oct 13th 07 - Mr. Seloc:

*Seloc was being dragged to the back of his ship by friendly hands. There had been no other dissasterous events such as Seloc's to other members of the crew as far as he could being half awake and sprouting blood isn't exactly the best way to gather information.
A dull slice, and a man's head landed on Seloc's headbutting him into the wood, knocking him out,

looks like I'm not the only other injured member, there one other at least*

23:10:02 Oct 13th 07 - Duke Tiber Septim IV:

Septim suddenly jumped from behind cover and cut a Dark Elf in half. Ten other elves surrounded him and Septim took off his glove. He aimed it high and said "Loresin Firene!" and a fountain of flame erupted from his hand and killed the ten surrounding him. Septim put his glove back on and charged a Dark Elf that was just out of range of the fire, Septim cut his head off.

23:13:53 Oct 13th 07 - Mr. Erunion Telcontar:

{As an FYI, My guys (Except for Fintar and the now dead Frelan) Are not from this world, and use a different type of magic. Therefore, we cannot be sensed (our mages create a warding around themselves to make it seem like they can be sensed when they don't want to confuse the poor locals) and we cannot sense you either...}

23:23:12 Oct 13th 07 - Mr. Verll:

Verll manages to turn himself in such a way that they sword only leaves a shallow wound on his left shoulder. He rolls to the left and jumps up, killing one elf by slicing up his throat and then he dodges a blow to his side.  He takes a step back and in a blink of an eye, he have threw the knives and killed two elves, and managed to draw the ones in his booths, to parry a stab at his belly and dodge a stab to his right. He tricks his way around the first elf and stab him in the back, then he only stands one to one with a dark elf wielding a couples of daggers, Verll throws the knife at him, but the elf dodges and the knife hits a another dark elf in the back. Verll draws the knife from the sheath behind his neck and starts to attack the dark elf. They both dodge each other’s blows, the dark elf a bit faster than Verll, but not as good with the daggers.  Verll finally manages to get in a blow to the elf’s heart and kill him. He notices Erunion lying there, fainted. A dark elf is moving up to finish him. Verll throws the knife and it goes right in through the eye of the dark elf. Verll runs over to Erunion, grabbing hold of him and manage to pull him away from the battle, but are followed by two dark elves. He have to release Erunion to go battle the elves. He attack them with so fiercely that they gets surprised. He kills one of them and slices open the belly on the second.  He have to leave Erunion  to get back to the battle, so they had a better chance for surviving.

23:49:22 Oct 13th 07 - Sir Ragnarr Stormguard:

"WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING ON THE BLUE RAY?" yelled Ragnarr between to slashes.
As he looked towards the other ship in a moment of a second, things did not seem very well. The Stormborn was only about ten meters away from the Blue Ray, and he could clearly see what was going on. Me were fighting with quick dark figures, screams of pain, terror and yelps were heard. Yet he did not see Seloc anywhere.
Ragnarr had calmed down after his nearly berserking mood, of which he was really ashamed. This had not happened to him in a very long time. He preffered to be calm, coldblooded and quick in his actions, as he was once again after he had a drink of a bottle of mead, randomly found in the chaos on the deck.
He looked around. A dark elf was preparing his arrow to send against Kormac, who was meanwhile hacking with his axe. Ragnarr quickly made a high slash against the unsuspecting elf, cutting his left arm off. Then he spinned to dodge several attacks, after which he slashed low cut high, dodged, ducked, then stabbed and punched with his hard first. Three dark elves were down.
The attackers were getting less on his longship, as they were only seven of them still on board fighting, outnumbered by his fierce crew.
He knew they would quickly be cut down. He raised his sword after killing the closest enemy.
"To the oars! Onwards to our brothers, they need help!" he yelled before he ran to the rudder oars.
The dark elves on the Stormborn were almost defeated. The men who were not busy fighitng quickly took the oars and started rowing, as Ragnarr steered towards his friend's ship,...

[ Bacardi, where are you? ]

23:56:08 Oct 13th 07 - Mr. Verll:

Verll slices open the throat to the last elf, and sprints to an oar and started rowing.

00:10:14 Oct 14th 07 - Sir Ragnarr Stormguard:

The longship gained speed across the low waves quickly. They men were rowing with their whole force and will to help their brothers on the Blue Ray. The Stormborn lightly passed the small distance in what seemed a moment of a second and stopped steadily by the other ships board, the two of them being parallel, leaving only a meter in between.
"Onward! For our brothers!" yelled Ragnarr as he left the oars to Kormac and started running towards the other ship. The men at the oars quickly left them and started jumping over the small patch of sea to help the Blue Ray's crew....

00:15:23 Oct 14th 07 - Mr. Verll:

Verll leaps over the small patch of sea and attacks the dark elves. He dodges and parries most, and when he have the chance a stab or slice that will always end in death.

00:27:23 Oct 14th 07 - Mr. Seloc:

*A group of 10 sailors cluching there weapons, had surrounded Seloc's body and the bodies of the other fallen solider. Gamely they held their position, lunging and slashing their enemies. This was happening everywhere around the ship, infact seven sailors had managed to cut away the resistance and were holding the starboard side of the ship. Stopping the dark eleves in the forest from helping their comraides on the ship, not that they needed help.*

22:34:20 Oct 14th 07 - Sir Ragnarr Stormguard:

"Attack! Odinn is on our side!" yelled Ragnarr just before landing on the Blue Ray's deck. Almost at that instant and arrow passed bu his head, missing with an absurdly small distance from his face. The northman slashed the dark elven archer's chest, leaving the black creature to die on the bloody deck.

[ Let's get this battle over with. Ending it depends on you. ]

22:56:32 Oct 14th 07 - Duke Tiber Septim IV:

*Septim slashed in an arc, cutting off an elf's head and legs, Septim then snatched the fallen elf's blade just in time to block two blows. He pushed his blades forward and the elves fell back, Septim then stabbed both of his blades into the fallen elves. An arrow flew into Septim's leg, piercing his leg, and then a sword came upon his back, creating a long deep gash. Septim roared like a wounded dragon and turned, slashing down his attacker. He then ran at the archer and jumped in the air, he brought his blade down upon the elf and sliced him in half down the center. Septim turned towards a large group and ran into them, he blocked two blows and returned them with a stab, he then swung around and chopped three elves in half, he turned and almost killed a northman, but stopped his blade in time and turned to an elf.

"You're lucky!", yelled Septim as he jabbed his blade into an elf's neck.

Northman: "Sorry sir!"

Septim kicked an elf over the side of the ship and roared. He then realized that he had killed the last elf, they had won.

23:07:01 Oct 14th 07 - Mr. Seloc:

*A very worried looking Kon, ran across the deck of the 'Blue Ray' in a very reckless fashion. He bumped into Septim accidently knocking him overboard, the sailor hesitated a moment but contiuned his dash, pulling up in front of lord Ragnarr.*
*Splash!* Some guy nearby: "Man overboard!"
Kon: "Lord!, lord it's the captain sir he's been injured! please come quick."
*With this Kon turned and hurrided to the otherside of the deck, without checking whether Ragnarr was following or not.*
Some guy: "Someone get some rope Septim's overboard!"

[OOC: Sorry Septim couldn't resist.]

23:15:37 Oct 14th 07 - Duke Tiber Septim IV:

*Septim was about to stab his sword into the ship when a rope was lowered, he climbed up it quickly and jumped over.

23:16:18 Oct 14th 07 - Mr. Verll:

Verll gets hold of the closest rope and throws it to Septim who is muttering curses and freezing in the cold water.
"There you go"

23:16:55 Oct 14th 07 - Mr. Verll:

[OOC]Lol Can I delete my own posts?

23:43:25 Oct 14th 07 - Sir Ragnarr Stormguard:

Ragnarr was exhausted. He realized how many wounds he had. Two arrows were stuck in his leg, his face had a bleeding scar, sword and axe gashes marked his shoulders and chest. He cleaned his sword in some cloth near by and placed it back in its sheath. He headed slowly after Kon to see what had become of Seloc.
"Erunion, follow me, we'll need a healer." he said as he passed by the elven mage, who was leaning on his weapon, tired from the fierce fighting.
Ragnarr approached the mast, where Seloc was half sitting, leaning on the mast, with blood coming out of his mouth's edge in a demonic small red flow. There were quick bandages on him, made from the sail's cloth and some random tunic, yet he needed help as fast as possible.
"You fought with great courage, Seloc. Erunion will take care of you now." Ragnarr said. Although he wanted somehow to help his friend, he knew little of healing severe wounds and a lot of after fighting work awaited him. He turned and headed towards Septim.
"Duke Septim, I want a full damage and body report after your wounds are tended to. Sir Bacardi, make sure all the men get rest and are given mead and healing herbs of some sort. Get the elves to see to their wounds. Verll, watch for any other attackers."
He jumped over the patch of seperating sea and landed on his own longship, searching for mead to clear his mind and forget the pain. There were men who needed healing more than himself, so he decided to wait...

01:38:20 Oct 15th 07 - Mr. Erunion Telcontar:

Laughing, Lord Alteran said to Ragnarr; "We are cousins, but we don't look that much alike! Some Dark Elf sorcerer has a few of our men unconscious, and the Dukes one of them. It's not life threatening, so Johansen here is healing what is lethal. Look, he's going to Seloc now. The rest of us will just keep the men alive long enough for Johansen to get to them." Poor Johansen's going to be exhausted...

01:46:34 Oct 15th 07 - Duke Lucias Septim II:

*The elf walked up to Septim, but Septim looked up.

"I'll take care of them...they aren't that bad! Take care of the mortally wounded!"

*Septim then grabbed a large case and pulled out a pair of pliers and a saw. He cutt the feathered end of the arrow off and then grabbed onto the other end, he pulled it out and quickly poured a clear liquid into it, afterwards he treated the arrow wound and wrapped a cloth around it. He then muttered a few words and the needle and string started sewing up his back, after it was done Septim rose.

"That didn't feel good..."

*Septim examines the damage and returns to Ragnarr.

"Well, there are around ten of our own dead, meaning we will have to hire more in the next town. There are also a few holes in the hull that'll need fixing."

22:57:27 Oct 15th 07 - Lord Ragnarr The Wolf:

[ I'll be gone for 24 hours so you lads feel free. Septim, your takin' my place as game master. When I get back I'll PM you. While I'm gone presume I had too many wounds or something.. ]

03:28:13 Oct 16th 07 - Lord Jonny Bacardi The Last Paladin:

Jonny, who had played no big part in the battle, havin been jumped upon by the first three dark elves that boarded the ship, came too, having been revived by one of the elven healers.

"Thanks bro. I really needed to get some life back into these limbs, eh!"

He started to laugh and walked towards the main point of focs, somewhere around Septim and Ragnarr.

[OOC:Sorry I was out Boyz, I thought I messaged ya ragnarr, I guess not]

21:56:35 Oct 17th 07 - Lord Ragnarr The Wolf:

[Fine, I'm back. This thread doesn't seem very active, yet I shall continue it anyway. ]

VIII. The Raging Sea

Everything after that blured into Ragnarr's mind. People had started repairs that night, immediatly, unwilling to await another wave of the dark creattures of the forest. Others were being treated below deck by elves. It actually didn't matter. After time Ragnarr simply closed his eyes as he was laying on the commander's deck, looking at the night sky. The dark thoughts from the back of his grim mind rampaged through out his dreams yet again.
When he opened his eyes, he saw Septim, looking at him. Ragnarr heavily stood up, realizing he had bandages on his body.
"What is happening?..." he asked the second in command.
"You were very tired, sir. I took the command while your wounds were treated by the elves."
"How long have I been sleeping?" the northman asked.
"About twelve hours sir, not much for a man after that fight."
Ragnarr nodded. He looked around. Sir Bacardi was at his post, talking with Kormac and Verll about something. Erunion was speaking with the other elves. Others were either at their posts, or doing simple repairs to the longship. They were still at the bay, yet farther away from the shore.
"Were are the rest of the men?" asked Ragnarr, noticed not all of the crew were on board.
"On the Blue Ray, sir. Helping out with the repairs. We decided it would be quicker that way, since we should leave as soon as possible. I thin they are returning right now,..." Septim was right. With small quick-made rowboats, at least half of the Stormborn's crew were heading back. The repairs on the Blue Ray were made crude and quick. They were not finished to the ideal, yet they would withstand the raging sea and further repairs were always possible while at sea. Everything was better than another attack by those heathen elves.
As soon as the men got back on his ship, Ragnarr ordered setting sail off into the sea. After he sent a raven to the other ship, the men started lowering the sail and grabbing the oars. The sea was raging today. Strong northen wind with high waves, yet not hard. Grey clouds had gathered above them, yet even if it would rain there would not be a strom, of what Ragnarr's experience was sure.
The two ships slowly headed towards the opening towards the Sea of Sorrow,...

22:06:06 Oct 17th 07 - Mr. Erunion Telcontar:

Erunion was worried. What had that sorcerer been doing? He could have killed dozens of men and elves, yet he just used that strange ball of darkness. He must have needed to capture someone alive. He could just have been after a sacrifice to make unto the dark one. How many names for that have I seen in different worlds? Hundreds, I'm sure. But that wasn't it. I don't think he was just after a few people to sacrifice. When I was out like that, I didn't have even the limited consciousness of my mind that I usually do when I am sleeping. I was dead to the world, my mind shut down and my soul dormant. With that, he could have searched my brain to his hearts content. Searched all our brains.

Suddenly, Erunion realized what was going on. Marching forward, he went to meet Septim, casting a spell to prevent being overheard.
"Septim! The Dark Elves are after the amulet, they know it's here, they know we have it, and they know what it is. They tried to find out how to access it today. They will attempt to take it again, or send other servants of the Dark One, or whatever you choose to call him, after us."

22:06:44 Oct 17th 07 - Mr. Erunion Telcontar:

{OOC: You are the driving force behind this very entertaining RP. Without you, nothing happens...}

23:51:46 Oct 17th 07 - Lord Seloc:

[OOC: I must agree with Erunion here, your needed. Although I must say I'm still half dead.....]

*Seloc spurted up another mouthful of blood over the side, it mixed with the violent waves as soon as it landed. A small fin appeared out of the water where the blood had been a moment earlier, Seloc blinked and rubbed his eyes. It was gone.

Damn I hate elves.

Earlier on that blasted elf from the 'Siren's Call' came to him to 'try to heal him'. Seloc was having none of his blastphamous gibberish and sent him off with the starp end of a sword.

What was his name again?.......Johensea...or..Johensan....Johansen! *

"Kon get that rope ready looks like we're in for a bad night, Finre! dam you get me some more wine! and fetch DOC these bandages are getting bloody and unconfortable!"

*As he was shouting it he knew it was a bad idea, the exsertion caused him to cough up yet more blood. It dripped down the side of the 'Blue Ray', curiously there wasn't anymore mysterious fins.*

00:15:57 Oct 18th 07 - Lord Jonny Bacardi The Ruined Son:

As Jonny walked around the deck with Veryll and Kormac, they heard the shouts Seloc was giving to the rest of the crew on the Blue Ray.

"Good old Seloc. There may be something wrong with him, but dam him, he wants to get his ship up to speed, instead of gettin himself helped out." Jonny and Kormac continued to patroll, as Veryll went the other way, to see how the captain was doing.

Just then, they heard Seloc sputter up some more blood, and kormac went to see if he was alright. Darius walked up to his old friend, and told him what he had heard and seen.

"Sir, we have a problem. You remember the poweful amulet thing. And the mage last night, the evil one? Well, he found out about it, and I think they're after it. Its going to make a real problem for everyone if they do. This isn't about Ragnarr and his friend anymore, we're going to have to try and save the whole blasted world."

With that, Darius walked away, his report complete, not even giving Jonny a chance to thank him. It was going to be a crazy night at sea, agian!

[OOC:They are right Ragnarr, you control it, your the one making this RP work, we all just kind of sit around and say stuff. We need ya, eh!]

00:15:59 Oct 18th 07 - Prince Lucias Septim II:

[[OOC: Dang! Well...I must say that it is sort of inconveniant that I am leaving for five days in about fifteen minutes, although I will try to get on as much as possible between now and Sunday]]

"The amulet? I thought so, we will need to guard it in shifts then, seeing as we are the only ones who know about it..."

01:10:27 Oct 18th 07 - Sir Verll:

Verll was standing right next to Johnny when Darius told  him about the amulet and saving the world. Verll did not know what this amulet thing was, but he knew what saving the world was and he remembered well those Dark Elves. Verll walked up to the bow and decided to hold extra good watch tonight. Standing there he, he checked his knifes were okey, and ready to be used at any second he might need it.

[OOC]Veryll?
