[[OOC: In the post where Wayne is kidnapped, I made a mistake. It was supposed to be "Freedom Island" not "Chase City, White Island". Oh well. :P]]

New York City, North American Region of New York
1:24 PM (Local Time)
September 28, 2069

As New York City rioted, John Arkon watched from a stolen CoSec transport aircraft with the rest of his team.
"Good job back there," said Arkon.
The plan had been simple. The Broadcasting Tower had been taken over without the alarm being tripped. Afterwards, Arkon’s men had set up a recording to play at 1:10 PM while the men below set up the auto-turrets, a generator, and an anti-jammer. They also made sure to severe the connection to CoSec Headquarters. Arkon and his team left the tower, and at 1:10, the recording began playing throughout New York City. Arkon was aboard a cleared transport out of town (courtesy of a very well connected, yet corrupt, individual), and the Coalition was moving in to crush an uprising. The uprising would be crushed, Arkon knew, but the seeds of the pulled plant would create more, and soon the Coalition would be dealing with uprisings throughout their nation. And without the great webspinner Richard Chase, the Coalition would be unable to recover.

Freedom Island

Kevin D. Wayne, Deputy Director of the Coalition Intelligence Service, was currently tied to a chair in an unfamiliar room with several very pissed off rebels. Life wasn’t good. They had beaten him, yet no questions had been asked. Then, he heard a new voice, one he recognized from an audio recording from back in the late 2030s. It was older, yet it was Kyle Arkon. He felt his thumb pressed against a pad, then he heard a beep, then he heard another beep.
"This is Kevin Wayne, and this i*beep*her Whittaker," said Kyle, "How’d you get these!?"
"No questions! We want our money!" yelled the voice.
"It’s been transferred," said Kyle.
Wayne heard several bumps, then a laugh.
"Good! Now kill them!" yelled the rebel.
Wayne heard gunfire, followed by a cry from the rebel.
"Mercy! Mercy!" yelled the rebel.
Wayne heard a gunshot, and the blindfold was taken off. He saw several rebels dead, and two psychic soldiers standing behind Kyle.
"Take ‘em to the transport," said Kyle.
"Yes sir," said one soldier.
Kyle used the dead man’s computer to transfer the funds back and grabbed several discs from the desks before running back to the transport. Within minutes, the KA transport was away from Freedom Island with two very important Coalition officials on board.

Chase City, White Island
1:27 PM (Eastern Time)
September 28, 2069

Director Howard Wolfe was in his office, his head planted in his hand. As he sat in his chair, his assistant ran in.
"Update on the Tower Incident, they ended it!" yelled the woman.
"How?" asked Wolfe.
"They shot a missile at it," said the assistant.
"That just made us look guilty! Who gave that order!?" asked Wolfe.
"CoSec," said the assistant.
"Dammit! Any update on Wayne?" asked Wolfe.
"A bunker was raided, but he wasn’t there. Neither was Whittaker, only a lot of already dead bodies," said the woman.
"*beep*!" screamed Wolfe.

Chicago, North American Region of Illinois
8:21 PM (Local Time)
September 28, 2069

Marcus Wilde was running through the streets of Chicago, Rick Miller and several other KA soldiers were running with him. The city was rioting with the news from New York, people were overturning cars, breaking windows, and mass carnage was going about. However, the mass carnage was serving little purpose, and the KA soldiers were about to do something important. Several blocks later, they reached a major station of the CIS. From the station, they could retrieve a lot of information that the Coalition had, and with that, they could harm the Coalition. Outside the station, however, were forty armed Coalition soldiers, all of whom had riot shields. The phalanx was disrupted by a frag grenade thrown by Miller, and a fight began between the rioters and the soldiers. Miller and several soldier/hackers managed to sneak by, leaving Wilde and several other soldiers outside. The fight soon ended, with the soldiers fending off the rioters, and Wilde was left wondering if Miller would succeed.

Fifteen minutes later, a window broke at the side of the building and Miller shot a zipline to another building. After all the soldier/hackers were out, he cut the zipline and they escaped. Wilde and the others left in a seperate van.

Fort Keller, Rhodes Island
1:00 AM (Local Time)
September 28, 2069

John Arkon, Aaron Larkon, Kyle Arkon, and Dominic Kaine stepped into one of the interogation rooms on Rhodes Island, Kevin Wayne was seated in the center of the room, tied up and blindfolded.
"Hello?" asked Kevin.
"Hello," said Arkon as he stepped forward, ripping the blindfold off. As the blindfold came off, Kevin shut his eyes after staring into a bright light.
"Now, Mr. Wayne, what weaknesses does White Island have?" asked Arkon.
"Weaknesses?" asked Wayne.
"Don't play dumb, there's a code that disables the EMP defense array, what is it?" asked Arkon.
"I don't know," lied Wayne.
Arkon nodded and Larkon walked forward, gripping Wayne's finger as he did so. With great force, he ripped out one of Wayne's fingernails, causing him to scream with pain.
"What is it!?" asked Arkon.
"I don't know!" yelled Wayne.
"There are ten that know it, Mr. Wayne, and you're one of them!" yelled Arkon.
"What!?" asked Wayne.
"The Director of Intelligence, the Deputy Director of Intelligence, the High Councilors, and the Director of CoSec! So tell me what the god-damn code is!" roared Arkon, knowing it to be time, the code would be at the front of Wayne's mind now, there was no way he could miss it. He sent a probe into Wayne's mind and found what he was looking for.
"1AB-27O-P26-979-O25-CRK, got that?" asked Arkon.
"They'll have changed it," said Wayne.
"What?" asked Arkon.
"They'll have changed the code. One of the nine people who knew the code was kidnapped by a hostile resistance group on Freedom Island, they'll have changed it, trust me," said Wayne.
Arkon stopped, then walked out the door. He'd have to improvise.

Onward!

02:13:56 Aug 17th 09 - Prince Gaius Septimus Cidellus:

"John, we're not improvising anything. We do it right," said Kyle Arkon.
"The whole Coalition is in an uproar, now is a better time than any!" shouted John Arkon.
"That's a bit of an exaggeration, they’ve managed to "quarantine" the news to North America and Australia, they’ve cut off all communications," announced Larkon.
"The Coalition isn’t going anywhere, and neither is Chase City or public awareness of the atrocity that happened to Sydney," said Dominic Kaine, newly promoted to take Tyson Bennet’s place as a Lieutenant.
"Fine, then what will be our next move?" asked John.
"We should aid the rebels in North America and Australia, the independent groups won’t stand much of a chance without us," offered Larkon.
"We should also work at finding a new supply of weapons and gear, the Syndicate has been pushed out of Nexim by the Coalition, and the Elusive Man is rumored to be dead," suggested Kyle.
"All we ever hear of the Elusive Man are rumors, Kyle, and if anybody was capable of escaping the Coalition, it was him," said John, "However, you are right, the Syndicate’s factories and warehouses were located mainly there. They have others, but at the moment, they will be using all available resources to find a new base of operations. LanCo has done some shady operations in the past, I’m sure we could purchase some weapons directly from them," said John, "They’ll do anything to stay in the race with Sercom. Offer instructors for money to the independent resistance groups, attempt to take control of a few when possible."
"Sounds fine, but don’t piss ‘em off," said Larkon.
