Who said it was 10 metal? It may as well be though...
*Finishes cutting 1 tree down and gains X tree
*Heads back to town and enters the carpenter's shop, and then goes to the back
"yes, i would like to learn the trade of thieving"
Erunion deposits X amount of money into the bank, then walks out.
*finishes making the blades...
Ummm... yeah 10 wood will be fine... I don't know why you made it non-multiples of three though...
Yeah... I forgot I needed 3
*The farmer looks up at Wizardus in distaste. "I ordered them on Wednesday, and I'm only getting the things now. Lazy carpenter, tell him I said so. Here's your 300 gold. I also heard that the blacksmith need some tools, I'm not sure what exactly, maybe you should pay him a visit. I heard he's paying quite a lot, so the blacksmith might want to make the few tools for him." says the farmer handing over 300 gold.* *In the town the thief suddenly appears in front of Soc. "First, to be able to thieve goods, you have to be stealthy and silent, and for this, we shall sneak into a house tonight so you will learn to tread carefully. We'll grab a few things and run. First, we'll go into a small house, then a bigger one and so forth, until you are as stealthy as a cat. There is no point trying to steal off people directly if you can't do this." he says. *
can i be the drunk? " hey yall *burp*" " youuu should go downnn the *burp* tavern its nice and *sick* sorry there is that a new jacket * burp * " sorry i will payyy for it some time " " ok, ive got a goldd coin here " *drops it down the drain* " that wass mentt to be forr you"
is that ok? can i be a drunk?
*Gives 150 gold to the carpenter
You can only be the drunk if you have enough gold to buy the alcohol and get drunk in the first place... Or, you can just be a drunk on your own sense of stupidity or pride or the like. * "Oh yes, you're the apprentice of the carpenter, aren't you? Well, I'll be needing 10 hammer handles, which shouldn't take you long. I'll also need some ore if you can manage it. I don't have enough time to go down to the mines myself. I'll need iron ore and some gold ore, which is hard to find in the mines, by the way. But I hope you can manage it. 50 iron ore and 5 gold ore will be sufficient, I hope to get a new apprentice soon enough. I shall pay you quite handsomely, 30 gold per hammer handle, 5 for each iron ore, and 100 per gold ore, as it's hard to find. Can you get those for me?" asks the blacksmith of him. "I'll only need it by Sunday next week, so you'll have plenty of time." *
*Soc returns to the meeting spot and meets with the new thief* "I am here and ready, let's rob this house!" *the thief smacks Soc on the head* "quiet!" *they both enter the house, quiet as ever. as Soc follows the thief, he feels a rush of adrenaline. the thief shows him the valuable items to take, plus how to make little noise. when they finish, Soc walks away holding the sack. He looks inside to see his earnings and he finds..................... (fini*beep* up killer!)
*Walks to the mines first
I meant *walks to the medicine shop
*walks to medicine shop/herbologist* "can i get a daytime job here?"
*The medicine man looks up from his trance. "Hmmm... something to make your hands stronger... Here you go, this is made from a hell of a lot of herbs, this medicine. Rub daily on your hands, and you'll have enough for 10 days. That'll be 40 gold coins, if you want it." The medicine man looks up again as another young man enters the shop, and who asks for a job. He was sure he hadn't put up a poster advertising a job, but since his apprentice died recently, he needed another one. "Hmmm... sure... Your pay will be 50 coins a day and 10 food to start off with. You'll just mix a few basic medicines for me, and adminster small cures. Mostly, you'll be at the counter selling basic medicines while I mix more. You will also be collecting herbs and the like, if you accept the job." he says all this in a clear soft voice. *
"All right, thanks for da medicine..."
"i will gladly take that job!" *still wonders what is in the sack from robbing the house* current gold: 50 current food: 30 current items: (anything cool in that sack?)
yay i will buy my alcohol from a bar? or offlicence :)
| ||||
Errmmm... taverne... they aren't cheap you know... Sorry Soc, forgot about that... *Soc peers inside the bag to find... a valuable watch, and 500 gold pieces, of which he hands 50 gold over to the thief. (You'll be able to sell the watch for around 200 gold if you can find someone to sell it to, and I'm being generous, this was a poor guy's house, you can rob a richer(fairly rich...) one tonight, however you might want to arrange times between the shop and thieving.* *After a hard bit of work in the mines, Wizardus gets 40 iron ore and 5 gold ore, but while picking he breaks his pick-axe, so he'll have to get another one to finish the job.*
*Soc wanders around, exploring the town, waiting for the thief to appear...................* Carrying: 500 gold, 20 food, watch (killer, is there someplace to buy food? i need some soon :))
Sure, just go to the farm, 10 gold for 10 food, or an inn(expensiveish here), 15 gold for 10 food, or the market on the street in the middle somewhere..., 12 gold for 10 food.
Erunion walks over to the bank, and asks the banker,
*Walks back to the blacksmith
*meets the thief in the usual spot* "where do we go today?" *follows as they journey to the richer neighborhood*
670 gold I think Erunion... I don't believe I made any bank... but there will be one, and I'll be damned if you're going to get any interest from it.
"Ah, thanks. Mind if I withdraw 400 gold? I have some shopping to do."
* "Well I don't have much at the minute, I usually take orders and make the required items. Tell me what you need(please give me a short description and don't expect me to know much...) and I'll give you the price if you want. Or, what's in my stock now is: Swords = 3 shortswords, fairly light but not very strong. 50 gold each. 1 magnificent sword, encrusted with jewels. Not too good for fighting, more of an ornament, but servicable. Heavy and quite strong. 2,000 gold.(bit expensive... Good for selling). Nothing else in the way of melée weaponary at the moment. Ranged weaponary = (The carpenter does bows and arrows though.) 5 small crossbows, and 10 bolts per crossbow(you can get more made, but maybe pick them up if you can...), fire a short distance, and are pretty weak, but would still kill a man less than 20 feet awat(if he can't do something...), 100 gold. Nothing else... Armour & shields = Rusty old piece of armour, better than nothing though, 20 gold. Studded iron armour, strongish , but a bit heavy, 150 gold. 10 wooden shields, will just about(maybe) stop a sword, weak and light, 30 gold. I suggest you ask me to make something..." says the blacksmith, showing him the various weapons.*
*Soc rushes into the herbologist's shop* "sorry im late, my other job made me work overtime" *Soc begins to recount the night before..................... He remembers meeting the thief and walking a great distance. They passed through a jungle, in silence. after a great while, Soc looked up to see a magnificient, yet modest at the same time, house before them. The thief entered before him, and began the usual robbing. after gathering a few items, the thief let out a startled cry, and began frantically whispering to get out of there. Soc looked back for one second, and saw a black book starting to grow legs, and casting spells. The thief quickly swallowed a potion, and gave one to Soc. Soc watched the book's spells bounce off the thief and figured the potion must be very strong. The last thing Soc remembers was finding a ditch near his village, burying the sack ("so no one will have proof" said the thief) and drinking a potion given to him by the thief ("to forget the danger you saw").....* *now Soc find himself at the herbologist's shop, and is eager to begin learning the mysteries of this art, hopefully to find the secret to the potions from last night...............* (OOC: did i finally write a good roleplay? i felt this was a nice story! :))
"All right, I'll buy it for 60 gold"
Erunion pondered what the Blacksmith said for a moment, then asked;
*Septim continues his daily duties... [[Items: 100 Gold coins. around 120 food]] *Septim walks up to the blacksmith. "How much for an iron shortsword?"
*after a day learning from the herbologist, Soc wonders if the thief will show up again.........................he waits in the meeting spot....................*
* finds an old sock on the floor* " OMG i found that sock i lost fifteen years ago it must be my lucky day!' " and look a scratch card" * scraps it off with finger nail* " ive won 30 gold coins" " this is my lucky day" {{ items}} old " lucky" sock
| ||||
What the hell? Where the hell would you get a scrath-card from? No, you are not getting that moeny I'm afraid, though you do have 10 gold... I wonder if any people have starved yet, amybe I should check... Nah... couldn't have... Erunion, I would appreciate if you specified what a trendrat was, but I found the thing in your other post somewhere so... Can you tell me what it is supposed to be made of? Septim, an iron shortsword is 100 gold. *The thief appears before Soc, hissing "Let us go a hunting for treasure my friend," leading him off to a richer part of town and leads him into an empty house, but there are guards around...*
"Interesting, I shall be back soon enough!" *Septim turns and leaves the forge. He eats ten food and starts to go about his daily duties...
"If it was made of good steel with the tip of the blade made of silver, how much would it cost? A plain hilt, nothing fancy."
* " Tip made of silver ... strange... Well, it'd be pretty expensive, maybe 600 gold? However, if you feel like getting the ores, then making the metals, it would be reduced to 300 gold. (You can do this with pretty much all weapons...) " says the blacksmith, looking at Erunion quizzingly, wondering if he has that much gold... *
*Walk up to a guard | ||||
"Silver can be sharpened down to a finer point than almost any other metal, while still retaining it's strength and hardness. Tip a blade with it and it can be made considerably sharper than almost any other weapon out there. Here, I'll give you 400 gold as a down payment, and I'll be right back with the other two hundred."
*The blacksmith, on hearing this, works feverishly to get that extra 50 coins. He has it done in the morning.*
*Septim goes to the blacksmith. [[OOC: I now have around 140 gold. I will buy an iron shortsword]] "Greetings sir, I would like an iron shortsword, I am sure you have one already made..."
Erunion ponders how much money he has now...
Can you not work it out yourself? Getting me to do all the work... 370 gold, around. That is if you had kept working while getting your trendrat, I think. *The blacksmith hands over an iron shortsword to Septim, while taking his gold.*
[[OOC: Lol, and I was wondering if I could be promoted, I feel like a bum, only getting ten gold a day...]]
{OOC: Thanks Killer, I forgot, when would I be getting paid? Once per RL day?}
You get payed per RL day. Yeah, you're promoted Septim.
[[OOC: WOOT! I'm a regular professor now! No more nine year olds for me! :-D. So I now make around 100 gold per day and I get about fifteen food, of it I only eat ten, so I get to stockpile stuff now!]] *Septim puts on his nicest clothes, buckles his shortsword, and goes down to the academy. "Hello students, I am your new teacher, Septim" *Septim teaches the students.
Erunion belts on his his Trendarat, and then gets back to work.
