As James turned to the last guard, he knew that time was running out and he had to act quickly, he moves swiftly to engage the Olkun'ut officer who was disguised in Kerait uniform. Both engaged and were locked in a tussle for a few moments till James broke the deadlock with an elbow strike that bloodied the Olkun'ut nose followed by a groin smashing knee strike, on receiving which the Olkun'ut officer fell only to be finished off by James with a blow to the neck. James examined the cryptex, it had been heavily dented in several places, there was no knowing know whether or not the information inside was intact or not bt he had no time so he moved swiftly to the house which he knew to be on the edge of the town, he was sure that it was the very house mentioned in the cryptex.

[[OOC: I am trying to figure out where you are...my men and I are on a mission.]]
Dak looked around once more. "Alright, Tom you go in first." Tom nodded silently and moved forward stealthily. The group waited five minutes, hoping that Tom had accomplishes his job. "Alright now, Phil is up." Phil moved silently to a house that gave a clear view of the general's and took cover next to it, completely invisible to anyone. Then Phil silently moved to the front of the house, only to have a guard walk up next to him and whisper in his ear. A look of relief appeared on Phil's face and Dak assumed that it was Tom. Phil looked into the window of the house and whispered to Tom again. Dak moved foward until he reached the side of the door and then motioned to Tom. "Open it." Tom moved to the door and knocked several times. One of the two guards on the inside opened it and looked outside at Tom. "What is it?" Dak lunged forward and hit the guard in the face with the butt of his rifle. The man stumbled backwards and collapsed when he hit the wall. Dak then prepared to move in and take care of the final guard along with Ryo.

Captain Sharpe entered Delran's office. "You called for me, Sir?" "Yes. I need you to go to General Septim and arrage for a meeting between me and him. Understood?" "Yes Sir! And what should I tell the General if he askes me about this meeting?" "That it's strictly classified and it's for the good of Kerait. Now go!" "Yes Sir!" With this Sharpe exited the office. Delran started thinking about his plans. "It is a very risking situation, but it may lead to the end of this war one way or another. I hope so, but it's a long shot."
|
The wind rustled through James's hair as he rapidly drove in the stolen Kerait jeep, he had had the jeep stopped and then with one blow he knocked the driver senseless and took his jeep. He was straining the jeep, pushing it to it's limits, he was driving it at 50 mph just 5 less from it's max speed. He had to reach General Vermonts house before it was too late.
[[OOC- Heading to the place where you are, don't move till i come and get myself killed.]]

General Septim sits at his desk, his face showing what he felt...remorse. He did not want to order the death of a Keraitian, no matter how much wrong he did, but Septim had no choice. The attempts on his life would not stop until one of them was dead, and Septim would rather have a sensible leader alive than one unfit for command. Suddenly, a speaker on his desk buzzed. "Sir, a Captain Sharpe is here to see you," said the bodyguard outside. "Send him in..." said Septim as he held down the button. The man from before in the Captain's uniform entered the room and saluted. "At ease, take a seat," said Septim after returning the salute. "Delran wishes to have a meeting with you," said Sharpe. "Fine, bring him up here, my office is sound-proof," said Septim. "So is his..." said Sharpe. "Does it really matter which office we meet in? If it'll make you feel better, fine, we'll meet in his office," said Septim. Septim followed Sharpe out of his office, making sure to lock it on his way out.
|
As James drew nearer to the house he saw figures moving furitively outside, as the road ended he leaped out if his jeep and run at full pace towards the house regardless of the risk. Soon he was near enough to see some members of Dak's squad there, he opened his mouth, 'S, but before one word left his mouth there was a sound like the cracking of a whip and James stopped right in his tracks, Ulren took aim and fired 2 more shots at James chest Phil too riddled his body with bullets before being stopped by Dak, blood spurted forth from his chest as James staggered a few steps backwards and fell to his knees, total shock ye urgency visible in his eyes, somehow he got up and with his hand outstretched he took a few steps forward and tried to say something to Dak but only gurgled out blood, James took out the cryptex on which he had written some numbers and tried to throw it but before it left his hand there was the sound of 2 more gunshots from the upper reaches of the building, 1 hit the cryptex and the other went through James head, almost as though in slow motion James Blake fell through the air, through timelessness and hit the ground with a thud rebounding twice before his head turned to his left eyes wide open, covered in his own pool of blood.

Delran was in his office when General Septin was annouced. "Sent him in. Why do you have to announce him? He can enter my office unannounced! That is the privilege of a general." He rose from his chair and walked to the door to greet the general. As always, the general was carrying his cavalry sword, habit that Delran took from him. being one of his own kind, Delran held great esteem of the general. "Greetings General! Welcome to my office! Please take a seat! Shall I bring you something? I believe that you wish to know the reason of this meeting. Well it is simple. Neither side can win the war at this time. Also, I have informations regarding a future offensive of The Olkun'ut. They also have developed a secret weapon, and we have scarce information about it. I believe that we can win this war with fewer casualties if we will sign a ceasefire with them for several years. In this time we will draw funds given to the military for war purpose and send them to the Science and Development Section. We have some projects there such as jet engine, cruise missile, several new types of hand weapons and 2 or 3 armour types. The Olkun'uts know nothing about them, and they seem prety sure they can win the war with theyr weapon. There is a thing though. If we sign the ceasefire, we must'n break it untill the army will be fully equiped with those weapons. And we must convince Yerchico that this is the best course of action. I believe that if we will have this ceasefire, the new weapons will be researced and put into mass production in 2 to 3 years and the army fully equiped with them in 2 more years. They will reduce casulties as this war is only done by nutrition, because we will just need a few quick victories. The goal of the army will be Olkun'ut capital. Seeing our forces near their capital will put fear into their hearts and ask for peace. As they will be several years behind us technologicaly, we will restrict their scientific research and development, giving us an advantage, if they will ever think of breaking the peace. What do you think?"
|
"I believe that Yerchico will believe with every bit of that plan except their surrender. He is a bloodthirsty man, and wishes for nothing else but for their country to be his. I am personally rather behind on the ideas of new technology, but some of my scientists have developed new technology. A new fabric called kevlar is being developed that is meant to stop bullets, along with a cylinder-like object that we call a supressor which can partially eliminate noise emitted from a weapon. We are also developing a new explosive that won't be done until next year, they're calling it plastique, I don't know much other than it can be molded. Colonel, I am working on something big, it may be a revolution to warfare as a whole, Special Operations. With the invention of the supressor, my men can now handle missions with stealth. Back to the matter at hand though, I believe you have a good plan, make sure that Yerchico is in a good mood before you deliver it to him..."
|
"Sir, I know about your technological developments, my aid was part of the Secret Military Service. But, with the Special Operations, we may be able to assassinate their leaders, sabotage their plans and facilities, but never break their will to fight. This will be done on the field, lowering their morale, threatening the only thing they value more than their lives, their symbol, their capital. Until now neither of the opposing forces has been able to reach the capital of the enemy. If the capital would be threaten, they may panic and accept all of our terms, and if we are very lucky, they may accept our administration as well."
|
"I never said that special operations would break their will, I was saying that it would make reaching the capital a hell of a lot easier, and with jet technology, surgical strikes, and the helicopter, the capital can be reached. Listen, you have my approval on your plan, but Yerchico is a tough man to get stuff by, have a talk with him, but if your plan fails, you will be killed like Farilor. You're a good officer and a good friend, I don't want that to happen. Good luck," said Septim before getting up.
|
Ryo watched as the man was shot and fell into the dust. Shrugging, he turned, having no time to watch Keraitians kill Keraitians. His mission was not so much to help Kerait, but to destroy Olkun'ut. Running up the stairs, he turned and waited for Charley.
|
After Septim left, Delran called for Sharpe. "Sir!" "Sharpe, bring me Colonel Velkon Tumar!" "Yes Sir!" Sharpe left the office and returned after an hour with a man behind him. Colonel Velkon Tumar was 30 years old, black hair, black eyes and as his commander, he was descending from the third nation. He was in-command of the infantry regiment in Delran's unit and his second-in-command. "You called for me Sir?" "Yes I have. Close the door Sharpe! I want you both to hear me out. I will be going to the Goverment Palace to show a plan to Yerchico. If I die there, Tumar will take command of the entire unit. Understood?" "Yes Sir!" said Sharpe, "But why do you have to die?" "Indeed" said Velkon "Why?" "It is only a possibility that I may die. I do not know the mood of Yerchico right now, and I must do this for Kerait, because I serve it now." "Very well, Sir! I will take command if you die!" "I will be doing the same thing for Colonel Tumar as I did for you, Sir?" "Yes. That is understandable. This unit is the elite of the Army. If something happens to me, make sure it remains the same. Use any means necessary to keep Tumar in command, if someone like Vermont is given command over him." "Understood Sir!" both of them replied. "Now, go!" "Yes Sir!" After they left the room, Delran dialed Yerchico's secretary. "Hello, Government Palace. Yerchico's secretary." "Hello! This is Colonel Delran Dark. I would like to ask for an audience with Yerchico." "We will call you back if that will be approved and give you all the details. Good bye Colonel!"
[OOC: I hope it is not godmoding. I also brought Velkon in the story, just in case I die. Am I allowed?]

[[OOC: He said at the beginning that he was pretty much just posting it. He said we could elect the leaders of the countries, but since Slade is the only person on the other country...he is pretty much their leader. Dak quickly pulled the submachine gun of Ulren's downwards and pulled him closer. "You fool, what were you thinking? He could not see us at all, so why did you start shooting?"
Noise came from the inside of the house and Dak turned to see General Vermont and his remaining guard with guns aimed at the door. "Guard! What is going on?"
Tom looked surprised for a moment and then replied quickly. "A vehicle suddenly drove up quickly and a man jumped out, running towards the house. I fired thinking he was coming to attack. He showed a complete disregard of how he looked running at the house. I will check to see who it was."
General Vermont edged towards the door, pushing his guard in front of him. Tom walked over towards the man who came running at them. He checked the body and cursed silently when he realized he was one an ally. He turned and shouted to General Vermont. "I think you should look at this. I think he may have been a spy."
General Vermont slowly moved out of the house along with his guard. Dak moved up behind him and fired a bullet through the back of his skull, killing both Vermont and the guard with one bullet. He then grabbed any items of usefullness and gave one last order. "Let's get the hell out of here IMMEDIATELY. I will have a full debriefing afterwards about the actions on this mission. Someone grab the body quickly and anything near it. We will figure out what is going on."
Ulren and Phil picked up the body and carried it off into the night. The squad finished their mission, but the man they killed bothered Dak. He wondered what he was doing there.
|
Yerchico was sitting in his office when the speaker in his desk buzzed. "Colonel Dark wishes to have a meeting with you sir, he said it was urgent," said the woman at the other end. "I'm free tomorrow at noon, this had better be good," said Yerchico.
***
Septim's phone rang and he picked it up a few seconds later. "The roast is done," said the man at the other end before hanging up. Septim placed his phone on it's base and sat back in his chair. He had just ordered the assassination of a Keraitian General, an inexperienced one, but a Keraitian, he did not regret it, but that didn't mean he liked it. That was the difference between him and me I guess...
|
Delran was in his office when the phone rang. He picked it up. "Colonel Delran Dark." "Hello, Colonel! This is Yerchico's secretary. We have arranged a meeting between you and Yerchico tomorrow at noon." "Thank you!" "Good bye Colonel!" "Good Bye!" The next morning Delran opened the doors of his wardrobe and picked up an uniform that some may call ancient. It was a Kerait uniform from 400 years ago. It had a cape, leather boots, a tunic and leather trousers. He put on his sword, a long knife in the right boot, and a pistol in the right scabbard. At 11 A.M. he called for Sharpe and Tumar and gave them the last instructions in case he would lose his life this afternoon, and proceded towards the Government Palace with his car. Upon his arriving, he headed straight towards Yerchico's office. "I am Colonel Delran Dark. I have a meeting with Yerchico." "Of course. Please wait while I will announce you."
|
The speaker on Yerchico's desk buzzed once again and Yerchico pressed his hand to the button. "Yes?" asked Yerchico. "Colonel Dark is here sir," said the woman. "Let him in," said Yerchico.
|
Delran entered Yerchico's office and closed the door. He walked towards Yerchico's desk and saluted him. "Good day, Sir! Thank you for receiving me! Forgive me for being rude, but before we begin this meeting, I must ask you something. What are your intentions about this war?"
|
"Nothing less than complete and total victory, Colonel. We've been fighting for many years, and the best way I can think of ending it would be to rule their country myself," said Yerchico.
|
"Well than, Sir, this can be done. But we need to take a few measures that may seem a bit off. First of all, you should know that we have several types of weapons and armored vehicles in the research state, also we are developing a new jet engine, that will be used for aircrafts and the cruise missile all developed for conventional warfare. Also, General Septim told me that he has ordered a few improvements of the Special Operations Division, such as kevlar, the supressor and a new explosive material named plastique. All will be researched in about five years and put into production after one more year. Also the army will be fully equiped with them in about ten years. What I am saying, is that we do not have the money needed for them to be developed and produced faster, because most of the money is poured into the war. To give the Science and Development Section the money they need, I propose to draw the money from the military. now the only way we can do that is to decrease our number of troops. But we cannot do that as we are in a state of war. So I suggest that we sign for a ceasefire, for five years. That will give us enought time to fully develop and test the weapons and equip all our forces. After five years we will engage them. Our forces will be technologicaly supperior and will crush them in a serries of battles. Our aim should be their capital. Seeing our forces sieging their capital, they will surrender without conditions. If not, we will proceed in taking their entire country city by city, as they will lack the resources and leadeship. But this will not be easy, because as we speak, they are preparing a large scale offensive. My spies report that they have developed a new weapon, some sort of tank, that has great armor and firepower. If we will fend off their offensive and call for a ceasefire, they might accept it, as they think they have the upper hand. They will only put their resources into this tank, not knowing that we already have several weapons that can destroy it. It will be their down fall. Also, I request to be named commander of the force that will meet the on the field in this battle."
|
Yerchico sat back in his seat, obviously putting a lot of thought into the plan laid before him. Then, with lightning speed, he drew a pistol from his holster and aimed it at Delran's head.
|
Delram, trained in the art of warfare in all of it's aspects, didn't move a muscle. "Is there something on my face? A bug? Or a fly on my head?"
|
"I was just testing you...since you did not flinch, you are not nervous. Your plan had better work, your life depends on it," said Yerchico. After Delran had left, Yerchico's phone rang and he recieved the news of General Vermont's death. He was not angry, merely disappointed. "Get General Septim up here..."
|
After leaving Yerchico's office, Delran headed straight back to his office. He locked himself there and began planning the campaign that will allow them to gain more time to win the war.
|
Septim approached Yerchico's office and stopped. "Go on in, sir," said the woman with a smile. Septim entered Yerchico's office to find him looking out his window. "Take a seat, General," said Yerchico. Septim walked the twenty feet to Yerchico's desk and sat down in a comfortable armchair across from Yerchico's seat. "Vermont is dead, he was shot through the back of the head by Olkun'ut commandos. He was found with the body of a Olkun'ut Duke, Gradus Voltoire. Vermont's home was searched and evidence was found that he was selling information to our enemies. He will go down in history as a tratior to his country. There is another matter, who his command will go to. Three options were suggested by my advisors. One was to give full command of the Keraitian Army to you, two was to give command to General Zarrock, three was to give his command to General Faltor. I have decided to give you supreme command of our army. I have also learned that you are developing a new bullet-stopping fabric called kevlar, a new explosive called plastique, and a new weapon attachment called a supressor. Good work, High General..." said Yerchico. Septim was stunned for many reasons, one was that he had killed a tratior to his country by chance, the second was recieving his rise in rank. Septim rose and gave a salute. "Thank you sir!" said Septim. "You are welcome, now leave," said Yerchico. Septim turned and walked out of the room, a smile on his face and a great many plans forming in his head.
|
Dak finished debriefing his men and chewed out Phil and Ulren about their trigger fingers. Tom luckily had been the more professional of the three and kept his disguise throughout the mission. The group was walking out of the door, the last remnants of their conversation finishing up. "-If you see someone coming up immediately, and they do not see you, take cover damnit. Do not do that ever again or I will bust my rifle over your heads. We turned the body into the men under General Septim's command...we are waiting for a report on who that man was...I am not sure if we will ever see a report, but I wish to know who you two killed."
The group continued walking until they reached their barracks and put on their training clothes. Dak led the group out of the barracks and blew on a whistle. "Alright, we are going to run several miles around the base. Keep up or I will deduct from your salaries. Let's move!"
The group took off on their afternoon exercise run.

[[OOC: I think you are back in a holding cell until Septim decides what to do with you]]
|
Major Roger Stromgard entered the holding cell, his face serious. "I am General Septim's personal aide and his most trusted officer. He sent me to take care of you, my orders are to let you walk free, even though I don't like it. He has given you two options, they're in here, I was told not to open it..." With that, Stromgard threw Hirani an envelope and left the holding cell.

After reading the letter, Ryo sat back for a few minutes, tracing lines in the dirt floor. Then, he looked up, and cleared his throat. Looking up, he remembered that the door was open, and lazily strolled out. Glancing around him, he began to walk down the hall. Passing a guard, he dropped his fingers a little and slid the pistol from its holster on the mans hip. hiding it in his coat, Ryo continued walking slowly, confident that the guard would not notice his lack of a weapon. turning a corner, Ryo jerked into a sprint down the passageway, around another corner and then out...he was free. Stepping forward, and fingering the pistol at his side, he realized that he could be free. He could shape his life anyway he wanted, for his hatred and need for revenge had left him. Turning back towards the jail, he smiled and began walking down a hill towards the big city.
He had a new life, and he could use it anyway he pleased.
Loping down the hill, he disappeared into the early morning fog.

[[OOC: Alright, since Delran is taking a while, I'll continue the story with the battle having minimal detail. He can write it out later...]]
High General Septim sat in his office looking over a few important documents when Major Stromgard entered his office. "General, Colonel Delran and his forces defeated our enemies in battle! Yerchico is going to announce a truce!" said Stromgard. Good job Delran...good job...
***
"I, Volus Yerchico, you're glorious leader,&nb*beep* pleased to announced the beginning of a truce between the two great nations of Kerait and Olkun'ut. At last, the war is over, at last we will be able to rebuild. At last, the world is whole once more!" yelled Yerchico over the radio as millions tuned in. He got up and walked from the set, approaching his right hand man, Cavor Trunt. "You did well sir," said Trunt. "Of course I did," said Yerchico.

Delran was in his office when his aid came in. "Sir," said Sharpe "there is a messenger from Yerchico. He wants to see you." "Send him in!" The messenger entered the office and handed a letter to Delran. It wrote: "Colonel Delran Dark, You are needed on the front lines to take
command of the fifth army. Olkun'ut forces are approaching and will be
here within the month. A plane will be waiting at the airport to
transport you. Good luck. Signed, Yerchico President of Kerait" "Tell Yerchico, that I will be there in a couple of hours. Dismiss! Sharpe, prepare my plane, I am going to the front line." The plane was ready in 30 minutes and Delran went straight to the airfield. The pilot took him at top speed to the front lines, where he went to the commanders office. "I wish to see the commander of this army. Take me to him." said Delran to the first officer he met there." "Yes, Sir! Follow me!" Delran folowed the officer to an office. On it door was the name of the General. General Misuf, Delran's former commader. Seeing it, Delran was overjoiced. Misouf was a complete foul when it came down to battle tactics, and had sent to death thousands of soldiers because of his decisions. Delran entered the office. "General!" "You!" "Yes!" "What are you doing here, maggot?" "Taking command of the army!" said Delran with an evil smile. "Impossible! You, in command of an army? That is the best joke I have ever heard!" "No, Sir. You are the best joke I have ever heared about in my entire life! I wonder who gave you that rank?" "Mind your words, maggot. You cannot take my army! I won't allow it." "Then you can go to Yerchico and tell him this. If you find him in a good mood. Until then, read this!" Delran handed the letter to the general. He enjoided his expression. "Now to bussines! Call your staff! Then you can leave." In an hour, all high ranking officers were assmbled in the office. "Men, I am taking command of this army, as commanded by Yerchico. We are facing an incoming attack that may send us to oblivion. I need you all to do as I say. We will trap them in this city and kill them one by one. First I need you to call your men, then send them in the back of the town. They will come from the north, I want that part of town to be left with only a few units to patroll it. Our objective is to let them in the town, then we will surround them with the entire army and eliminate them. I want the houses to be set up with explosives along the maind north street, also I want snipers and antitank perssonel in those houses. Their orders are to let the enemy pass and seal the area. The artillery will be placed out side of the town in range to cover the entire town and fire anywhere within .Understood?" "Yes, Sir!" "Good! Than go!"
The plan worked well! Because of their weight, the tanks could not be of musch help in the streets of that city and the kerait snipers, anti tank crews and artillery worked very well against them. The infantry moved in to engage the ramaing invasion force, while the airforce and anti aircraft weapons kept the enemy aircrafts away. The battle turned into a massacre. Althought it was won from the first hour, when the enemy, entered the city, it raged for two more days, as Olkun'ut forces used whatever means they had to resist within the ruins of the city.
A day after the city was secured againg, Delran wrote a report to Yerchico. "Sir, we are victorious. Their entire force was massacred. There were no prisoners as none surrendered. I await further orders. Colonel Delran Dark"

Ryo sat in his cave, a little hide-out he had used since he was a child. At the back of the cave were stacks of cans of food, on one side of the cave was a small mattress, and opposite it was a pile of clothes. The entrance to the cave was a small circular tunnel three feet long, concealed by a bush on the outside. Ryo grabbed a bag off the floor, checked the contents, and then zipped it up. After all the excitement about having a new life, he couldn't find anything to do but his old job. As he picked up the bag, his eye caught on the newspaper he had stolen from the city. Ryo hadn't gotten a chance to even look at it, but now his eyes pulled towards the headlines. They read: Kerait and Olkun'ut sign peace treaty! Yerchico pulls back troops from the frontier to begin deoccupation of the border!
Beneath it, there was a picture of Yerchico shaking hands with the leader of Olkun'ut. Ryo shook his head in digust. Why had they don it, when they were so close to winning the war? Ryo snarled. Tossing the paper to the ground, he dropped his bag and checked his belt for his gun. Pulling his jacket forward to conceal it, he leaned down and crawled out of the cave. Seemed he would have to talk some sense into these Kerait leaders, after all. Standing up outside the cave, he straightened the bush and loped toward the city.
|
General Septim sat in his office, the news of the peace treaty occupying his thoughts. He had no idea what he would do for the years he had to wait, as he had been fighting his whole life. Well...we could gather intelligence on our enemies. That would help us counter whatever they're developing. We'd need a few spies, I'll leave that to Admiral Wolfe. The Dragons...I will continue the training of the Dragons. They will not be the fist of Kerait, they will be the needle. They will strike with precision, doing exactly what we need, nothing more, nothing less. Supressors will come in handy, so will kevlar, though I hope they'll never need it. Newer better guns...newer technology. Time for work... Septim picked up his phone and dialed, a few seconds later a man answered. "Stromgard, I'll have a letter for you in five minutes that should be delivered to Perkins..." said Septim.
|
Dak was handed a message from General Septim and read it quietly. He got a grin on his face and turned over to Finn, who was cleaning his rifle. Finn looked up and frowned. "Whatever it is, it cannot be good because you are smiling." Dak frowned for a moment and then grinned again, laughing slightly. "Stand and salute Sergeant First Class Dak Perkins, corporal, or I will bust you down a rank" Finn groaned and saluted Dak quickly before going back to cleaning his gun. "Anything else in that message?" Dak looked at it again. "Well, we are now part of the "Dragon Teams" as the Red Dragons or red team. We are under the command of General Septim. We will be getting new equipment but it looks like we will be in combat for awhile." Finn sighed to himself and then tossed his gun aside. "Well, I guess we are on a vacation until that time comes." Dak nodded. "Looks like it Finn..."

People rejoiced throughout the world as peace was formed between the two great nations. Families that had been seperated were whole, mothers and wives of returning soldiers were finally at ease, but some were not so lucky. Millions had died in the long war, and a bright futured was what the people were looking forward to. But a small circle knew the truth, a small circle knew that the peace was false.
For several years, Kerait's money went into new technology. Jet technology was developed, along with many new components allowing the creation of the computer. Tanks, ships, and planes were improved. They also now had helicopters. But the grandest creation, the most devestatiing invention ever created, was unknown to all but Yerchico and a team of scientists. The Atomic Bomb. At last, after the short peace, Kerait was ready for war.
***
General Septim was sitting in his office, it had been five years since the peace had been made with Olkun'ut. Admiral Wolfe's intelligence division reported that Olkun'ut had spent most of its money on rebuilding, for of the two, it had been the more damaged. Kerait had been instead spending it's money on technology, and the results showed. Septim now had a computer on his desk, it was bulky, but he preferred it over the old typewriter. Over the years he had trained the Dragons into the best unit in the Keraitian Military. There were currently six teams: Black, Red, Blue, Gold, White, and Brown. Red was the best. They were armed with K-55 submachine guns, KS-9 pistols, KL-10 sniper rifles, KA-15 assault rifles, KI-5 combat knives, and Kertex Plastic Explosives. They would use special kevlar armor in their missions. They also had their own headquarters at Fort Ollus, nicknamed the Dragon's Den by the Dragons. Septim was proud of them, and he knew they were ready to be what Kerait needed them to be.
***
Yerchico sat in his office, Colonel Dark had been right, he had said five years, and it had been five years. The Atomic Bomb would strike terror into Olkun'ut. He turned on his computer and went into the military database, after granting Delran Dark the rank of Brigadier General, he called his secretary on the intercom. "Send a letter to Colonel Dark informing him that he has been made a Brigadier General of the Keraitian Military," said Yerchico. "Yes sir," said Nancy, his secretary. Soon he would declare war on Olkun'ut, but he wanted to be ready, he wanted it done right.

Name: Cole K. Reveritt Age: 21 Faction: None Class: Wanderer - Refugee Personality: Depressed History: Sad and depressed, Cole has geven up most hope for a new life in the Wrecked Lands. Having lost both his mother and sister in a war battle, Cole has gone into a hopelessness that only the war could end. Description: Cole has brown hair and green eyes, just like his mother. His body has to be atheletic if he wants to survive in these times. Cole carries around a staff that his mother used to use when the Wrecked Lands was a nation.
~~Four years ago...~~
Cole was running with his father down a dirt path into the forest. Bombs were being launched into Bellerton, having already destroyed the military base there. Cole was scared, due to the fact his mother and sister were still in the city. When his father stopped at a safe distance, Cole fell on the ground, exhausted.
"You'd better be glad you still can feel exhaustion," Cole's father said. "This war really has gotten out of hand." "Well, at least the Kerait has more troops than the Olkun'uts," Cole said. "You are for the Keraits?" "They're more trustworthy than most Olkun'uts we've met." Cole sat watching the battle rage on in the city. The mortar strikes showed who was advancing based on where the other side's troops were. Currently, the Keraits were wining the battle, bombardment dropped on the area close to the Olkun'ut outpost. Then, something caught Cole's eyes. Two women walking on the dirt path, one tall, one a kid. "Mom!' Cole ran as fasy as he could to reach his mother, when a stray mortar strike landed where Cole's mother was. "No!" Cole fell back from the explosion. He could feel his own sobbing. His father walked up to the spot where Mom's corpse stood blown in half. The darkness rushed over the town, and everything went black for Cole.
~~Now~~
"Cole, is the duck finished cooking?" Cole stood over a spit, roasting a duck slowly over the fire. "It'll be ready soon!" Cole yelled back. It was a sunny day, not a single cloud in the air. Singing high in the air was a group of ravens. The wind was calm, pushing a light breeze over the inhabitants of the refugee village. Tents as far as the eye could see were in this village. It was depressing to see the amount of refugees, but everything was depressing now. "Save some duck for me, son." Cole's father walks out from the forest, holding his axe on his shoulder. "I have an appetite too." "Here," Cole mumbled, handling Dad a large chunck of the duck. Cole's father began chewing on it ravenously. "I hope you have a better mood than this for tommorow," Dad said. "After all, it is the day you were born!" "Wait," Cole said, "tommorow is my birthday?" "What, has all of this travelling let you forget?" Dad said, laughing. "IT's the day you become of age, 21 years old. I hope you put on your clean clothing, not the rags we wear everyday." Dad sighed a bit, and then smiled. "It's a wonder you're still alive for this day. Think it means anything?" "Yeah," Cole said. "A life of misery."

Delran was in his office, in the same city that he won the great victory against Olkun'ut aand allowed Kerait the time to prepare for the last offensive. He won the battle without the help of his brigade, but soon after the vicxtory be brought the there and for five years he trained them and the Fifth Army togeder. Now he was reviewing some reports when Sharpe enterd the office. "Sir, you have a letter from Yerchico." "Give it to me!" Delran opened it. It wrote: "Colonel Dark, I am pleased to announce your promotion to
the rank of Brigadier General for the plan you suggested five years
ago. You will also take permanent command of the Fifth Army, I know you
commanded it five years ago, and now you will command it permanently. Signed, Yerchico" "Nice!" said Delran after reading it. "Now I need is the new weapons, and I can lead this army straight to their capital. And if they don not surrender, we will retreat and let the airforce deliver the "package". Sharpe, you may go, but first send a letter to both General Septim and Yerchico, informing them that I require 100000 of these each: assault rifles, army knives, pistols and kevlar vests. Also, I need 1000 sniper rifles, with entire equipment, 1000 pieces of plastic explosives, 5000 armoured transport cars, 10000 KBF heavy tanks, 5000 KS light tanks, and 10000 pieces of artillery. And for the airforce under my command 1000 fighters and 500 bombers. I need them to succesfully launch the offensive as the Fifth Army is right in the center of the front lines."
|
Major Gregory Rell entered Septim's offce. Rell had been Stromgard's replacement the year before, he was a good man. "General, Delran has requested weapons, vehicles, and birds. He's asked for a lot, sir, here is the list..." said Rell as he handed Septim the list.
100000 of these each: assault rifles, army knives, pistols and kevlar vests. Also, I need 1000 sniper rifles, with entire equipment, 1000 pieces of plastic explosives, 5000 armoured transport cars, 10000 KBF heavy tanks, 5000 KS light tanks, and 10000 pieces of artillery. And for the airforce under my command 1000 fighters and 500 bombers .
"Good Lord! I hope he knows that kevlar doesn't belong on GIs!" said Septim as he reread the list, "He's not the only General out there!"We can probably spare about ten thousand assault rifles, twenty thousand knives, ten thousand pistols, and five hundred kevlar vests. We have about ten thousand sniper rifles to spare, but not enough plastique, I guess he'll have to settle with TNT. He can have about two hundred armoured transport cars, a hundred KBFs, two hundred lighties, and around five hundred pieces of artillery. Most of the air force is with the navy, we could probably spare two wings of fighters and a wing of bombers...I'll need to send him a letter... Septim pulled out a pen and a piece of paper and began writing.
|
Captain Dak Perkins observed his slightly larger squad of men training on the course. In addition to Phil, Finn, Tom, and Ulren, he had added Rick Nelson, Jason Keyes, and Harrison Biggs. Rick experienced submachine gunner, Jason was a rifleman, and Harrison was an experienced sniper. Dak looked at his member sheet and thought up possible strategies for these men.
Phil Calsbi(Rifleman) Finn Hughs(Rifleman) Tom Olsey(Spy/Assassin) Ulren Wallace(Submachine Gunner) Rick Nelson(Submachine Gunner) Jason Keyes(Rifleman) Harrison Biggs(Sniper)
He folded up the roster and put it into his jacket pocket. He was simply waiting for his orders to move in now. He was itching to get back into the fight before he died of old age. He was now thirty years old and was going to start losing his youthful stamina in the coming years.
|
The only problem with his plan was the AA guns on the field. They would shoot down the planes in a matter of seconds. Red Team'll take out base one's guns with plastique, Brown'll take out base two's, Blue'll take out base three, and White'll take out Harrvoon Park's AA guns. While they're doing that, Green and Black will take out the fuel tanks at Barringoor Airfield... Septim began writing the orders after finishing the final touches on his plan.
|
Ryo watched from the hills as Dak drilled his men. He hadn't seen Dak in years, but Ryo was sure the captain would remember the interesting events of his imprisonment. Checkiing to see that his pistol was secure, he crept up the hill and to the side, until he was just yards behind Dak. Crouching, he raised his pistol and set the sights on Dak's neck. Just in case...
Seconds later, he stood behind Dak, the pistol still on Dak's neck. Lowering his head, Ryo whispered.
What have you *beep*s been doing? ...you could have attacked long ago and defeated them. Now don't get me wrong, i know about kevlar, but it's not worth waiting for it. Now take me to Septim.
|
*Dak felt the gun on his neck suddenly and didn't move. He spun with inhuman speed and twisted the wrist that held the gun. He then threw the man over his shoulder and onto the ground. He reached into his holster and aimed his own gun at him. Finn, Jason, and Ulren moved over, their weapons up and aimed at the man on the ground. "You should have known better than to try and take on the captain of the special forces here. We are not in special forces for no reason. Hello again Ryo, you should know better than to do that. I could have killed you or my men would have. They have orders to never let hostages be taken, even if it means shooting a fellow squad member. My squad is all in for out missions. I will have Jason, Finn, and Ulren take you to General Septim, but this time you will go under my terms. Next time, just walk up and say hi instead of trying to get yourself killed. I have a mission to go to very soon."
Dak walked off with the rest of the men while his three squad members escorted Ryo to General Septim.
|
Septim was finishing up his written orders to the Dragon Team leaders when three of Dak's men entered the room escorting Ryo. "It's been a while since I've seen you," said Septim to Ryo, showing no surprise. "He attempted, and failed, to take Captain Perkins hostage," said one of the men, "After taking his weapons we escorted him here..." "Good job, men," said Septim to the men before turning his head to Ryo, "Now...why would you want to do that? I gave you your freedom. I gave it to you five years ago, so why have you come back?"
|
Ryo chuckled and shook his head at their assumptions. If he had really wanted to take Perkins, he would've. He just wanted to get their attention. Smirking, he looked at Septim and laughed quietly.
I just wanted an escort so i could get to you easily, without having to sneak in. Now i can talk.
Taking a deep breath, Ryo smacked the desk in front of him.
What the heck were you thinking?!? You should've atttacked long ago. This kevlar junk, it's not worth the wait. Trust me, i've tried it. Yeah, i stole it from your factory, but who cares? I tested it, it works, but not enough. I also have some information for you. Information about Olkun'ut. And the surprise attack they're planning.
