[ Save what? ... I'm sorry I'm not posting anything for now, but I shall in the next 12 hours. ]
[ Keep it alive a little longer lol, are we calling it a day after we find Silverwind?]
Revenge watched as Meowman confronted Erunion about something, he was concentrating more on the statues they had just passed They reminded him of something but he wasn't sure what It was... He retreated to the cabin to rest and sleep on it, perhpas he would remember it after a couple hours kip
Septim stared at the large statues towering over the longship.
Never seen statues that big...
*Might walked over to Septim.* "Whats with that amulet you have?"
"I don't know what you're talking about..."
[[OOC: I have told only Erunion due to the amulet's magical power...]]
[OOC: But I saw the amulet cause you do stare at it a lot. I don't know its magical though.]
"defensive awakes from his deep sleep below deck
"Am i still welcome among this crowd?"
[ I guess Ragnarr would love you back, but theres not much of our quest anymore :( ]
"oh ok"
*Defensive goes back to sleep
[ Seven hells, Revenge... it is dead when I write that it is over. ]
"Might, what the hell, get back to your post. That cordage can't tighten by itself! Septim, and everyone else, at your postions." Ragnarr's voice was a bit harsher than usual. He seldom ever needed to be harsh, for his crew were true veterans, loyal to the grave. However, these were unkown waters, and they had to be on guard at all the time. "Ragnarr, the north-western horizon!" It was Verll again, from his post at the front. "Thoren, take the oars,.." said Ragnarr breifly before going to where Verll was. "Three ships, each with three masts.. Coming straight our way. On full sails, wind is on their advantage. As if they knew we where coming,..." "Battle positions." said Ragnarr loudly. "Don't rush to charge, wait for my word. They might come with other purposes,..." Ragnarr ran over to the commander's deck and steered the longship fully to the left to gain advantage from the wind over the ones coming. "Septim, send a raven to the Blue Ray. Lord Baccardi and Erunion, prepare the warriors. Kormac, take the archers and go to the right board. Revenge, go with them. Verll and Might, stay at the bow,..." The wind gushed and then Ragnarr remembered about Meowman. "You, just stay near someone, I'm not sure if you know how sea battles go,..." The longship cut through the waves to the west and went over the course of the coming ships by a few ship-lengths. If the wind was on their side, they might have the upper hand so,...
[ Defensive, you're back. Glad to see you. You're still master at bow so be prepared - you're with the archers. ]
Erunion stared at Meowman. "It is not my secret to tell and if it were, what makes you think I would trust you with it?" Turning around, Erunion bellowed out: "Naergothrendarins! To your posts! Keep together, load exploding arrows! Damn your eyes, faster! More careful there! Do you want to die!?" The Naergothrendarins rushed to their places along the deck, drawing one of the few magical arrows from their secondary quivers.
"Ragnarr, they're still heading straight ahead! We have a small advantage, but these ships are demons - they fly above waves..." Ships, made for speed and nothing else. One could argue if northern longships were faster and more manouverable than these ones. Ragnarr didn't move the rudder oar. He had a straight course, passing by the three ships. He noticed Thoren's worried look. Ragnarr smiled. "Only those with unclean consiounnce run. We have done nothing wrong and have the advantage of the wind. Why should we run? They might just as well be coastal guard, inspecting. If we ran now, they'de assume we're common sea brigands and attack us." ...
"Ragnarr, they are built for speed and speed only, which means they are a coastal ship, either the coast guard, government privateers, or coastal pirates. I'd say the last is the most likely of the three."
"Men, prepare yourselves." Jonny looked around at his men, and realized that they where all well armed, and grim, they knew what was at stake now. They had gotten this far, there was no way they where going back now. Jonny looked over at Erunion, who, along with his men, stood grim and determined next to the veteran sea farer's. Jonny nodded to Erunion, and received a nod in return. They where ready, just waiting for the command......
Meowman said into Erunions ear these words: "I understand your mistrust of me, as I have not been here long enough to even draw sword with the crew. But what of Ragnarr and the others? Have they not earned your trust? Have the adventures you have had together come to nothing in your eyes? And you say it is not your secret to tell. Perhaps, but you played a big enough part in the founding of the secret. Enough, I should say from the dim knowledge I have, to keep your own council. And I think even I have a right to know wether your intentions mean good or ill to the crew. For so far, all the signs point to ill. Why do you hide these things from people who you know perfectly well would do naught but try to help, and respect you enough to leave you to your own devices if you beleive it to be better? Why would you conceal it, other then evil or misjudgement, and large misjudgement at that. It looks like something is about to happen, though, so you have time to think over my words..." With these words Meowman of the South turned away and strode off, taking his place amongst the men, getting ready for what would probably be a battle...
[[OOC: Revenge, on the subject of continuing it after finding Silverwind, theres still the return journy...]]
[ That is partially correct, Meowman, there will be a return journey, however, not as detailed and long as the quest-journey. ]
The longship sailed straight for the xebec-like ship ahead, with a course passing clean over it, from its right board. "Losen main cordage two thirds,... " The Stormborn slowed down and reached the ship's right board on dreif. From the ship, a tall figure appeared, quite unusual - the man had long straight raven balck hair, yet an absolutely white face, with blue lips and fast, lively, royal blue eyes. Almost all the sailers on the Stormborn immediatly touched their charms around their necks, and Ragnarr was one of them. The unusual bieng called out in fluent voice. His language was unkown, yet elegant and "curly". Erunion hurried to Ragnarr. "They speak in the old elven tongue, but with a horrible dialect,... The man demands to come aboard with a few guards and inspect the longship before letting us continue for Victavyre." Ragnarr nodded. "Coastal Guard,... fine, let him come aboard." Erunion turned round and answered in the same tongue the other spoke in. He smiled widely, called out to some behind him. A plank was put between the ships and the starnge person came aboard with four guards, equipped with heavy spears and light armor, a kind unkown to Ragnarr,..was it mirthil? The others were the same as the one that spoke to them, who was their commander. He went to where Ragnarr and Erunion were standing and spoke again with a braod smile. "Ask him if he knows the common tongue." Erunion spoke to the commander, who in return answered. "But of course! You are from the western lands or from the sands?" Ragnarr grinned. "Northern." The man's smile hesitated for a moment, but recovered. "We'll be done in no time, just checking for harmful objects... like the weapons your men have. By Hurst, they're armed to the teath!" "I give you my honest word that we shall shed no blood while ashore. We have only come to look for someone." The commander nodded quickly. "I don't need your word, even if you brake it, youll hardly be able to do anything." He then laughed and turned, called his men, who were inspecting the ship and left to his own, before which he said: "You can continue."...

Revenge yanked his sword back from one of these elves inspecting it, he thought it was strange that they have to inspect the ship... What could we have aboard that was ' barred ' from the island Revenge didnt like the way he chuckled , about the island of where they were headed
Revenged took his scope and could just about see the outline of the island Large trees, thick A arge flock of Albatross flew overhead and a bird of which not revenge had seen before, largewings, longer tail, almost a large falcon....
Meowman did not enjoy Gladernora being handeled by any that he did not know and trust, but let the elves? Men? he couldn't tell... examine her breifly. "If it allows us to get to the island unmolested..." he thought. When the... things...had left the ship, Meowman wandered outside and marvelled at the strange birds. Them being creatures of the wind he could also commune with them slightly, telepathicly, though at this distance not very clearly. All he could sense was this; there was something strange about the aproaching island...
Meowman wondered if he should again confront Erunion, but decieded that he had done all he could, untill more information arived somehow. He decieded that his words might have not some sense into him if his purpose was good, as he knew in his heart, and made him tell his crew, and the chances had gone up slightly that, if he did still conceal something, it was for good reason. But sometimes the heart is a deceitful thing, and Meowman chose to keep up his watch on the elf.
[[OOC: Let's land already!]]

*Defensive wakes up and watches from underneath a taupaulin (he is too tired to join in.....
*Might grabbed his dagger and growled at the guard who tried to inspect it.*

The longships continued north-west towards where the old maps showed Victavyre. And truely it was there.
Although there was sunset light, the wonderous structures were lit with torches and fires, which only increased the effect on the eyes that haven't seen such things. Tall towers, covered in statues, motives and decorations of fine red and white marble and other materials that glittered and shone. Short stone bridges in between them, that seemed wonderous enough. The port itself had an entrance of a high arch above where the ships passed. And the port was the greatest Ragnarr had seen during his travels around the lands and seas. Enormous, which could hold at least ten hundred ships at once. Elegant docks, made of fine wood, as if made for a king. The Stormborn headed for a dock, close enough to the exit, so if they needed a quick escape, they had it. "Something is not right?" Kormac asked Ragnarr, seeing his more than usually cold face. "This is not right. They just let us pass,... " he turned to the rest. "No one us to go ashore with out my permission. Septim, Bacardi, Erunion, you shall follow me in the city. Might, Revenge, Meowman, you too. Kormac and Thoren, the deck is yours."...
[Enormous, which could hold at least ten hundred ships at once -- Thousand? ][ I can't see the pic either ]
Revenge took his sword out and walked slowly with the rest of the crew, they came to large black tipped gates " Its locked..." Murmured Meowman Revenge booted the gate, it swung open with a crack " Not anymore " Revenge allowed Ragnarr to take the lead down the path, Revenge looked back at Kormac and Thoren on the deck He didn't feel a hundred percent right about this place, it was odd they let us just walk in here without much confrentation at all...
"Alright Captain", says Septim as he checks his ge*beep*ptim arms himself with two daggers, one in his boot and one at his belt, six throwing knives concealed in his coat, and his longsword, Firengard.
"I am Ready", says Septim.
[ Ten hundred is a thousand, just said in a british way. No, I'm not british. And the pic.s are never important, Revenge. They're just there for colour ((: ]
Ragnarr looked at Revenge after he broke down the gates. "What, you want to wake the whole place up?... not that they don't know we're here,...and why the hells is this huge port near to deserted?" Only the ships bobbed from the waves at their places at the docks....
[ My next post will come after 12 hours, and I'd ask for no rushing posts by then, since the storyline will simple brake and all logic will be lost. ]
As they were going on shore, Erunion whispered to Meowman; "I mean the crew no harm, ask Septim if you wish to know more."
"OK, I will..."
Meowman went over to Septim and wispered in his ear:
"There is soething you are hiding, and it was given to you by Erunion, is that not so? No, don't look at me like that. I simply wish to know what it is, why you conceal it from the crew, and I wish to have confirmation that your intention is good with it."
Ragnarr turned and faced the long alley that lay behind the black gate. It was as if the people here didn't know what to do with their spare riches and used them to build common things, like roads, benches, torch-holders and columns. The alley was tiled in red and white marble, with golden veins glittering from the numerous torches, hanging from the majestic columns by silver-like holders. If Kormac was here, he would certainly have started "cleaning up" the place from the spare wealth... The wide alley was flanked by immense structures with were at least about twenty to thirty five meters above their heads. This was the first time Ragnarr had seen such a rich part of town right beside the docks. Something was still not right - there was no one. No sound, except for the light crackle of the flames. No movement, but for the swift swaything of the shadows the torches cast. Ragnarr started walking slowly, looking around himself, his righ hand comfortably placed on the hilt of his sword, still in the sheath. The rest followed slowly as well. "This place is enormous, and we are looking for one man - Aeron Silverwind. Where do we start from?" someone asked from the back. It was a thoughtful question, for which none of them had no answer except silence. They continued forward until they reached wide square with a tall statue in the middle of some elven hero, surrounded by a calm fountain and soothing trees. And then there was sudden movement. Four streets entered the square, and from four of them was a movement of shadows. At first darkness, they emerged from their hiding places and surrounded the square. Again, it was these strange elf-like creatures - tall, white-skinned, with long, straight, raven black hair, blue lips and royal blue eyes, which one could simply choke to death if he stared at them for too long. Ragnarr immediatly took his sword out. The rest raised their weapons as well and formed a circle, backing each other. "Calm down, farlanders, we're not here to slay you." spoke one of "them", obvioisly their commander, for he had a helm of pure silver with wings on it of white-gold and several pearles, decorating the fore-part. Ragnarr didn't speak. "My mages told me of your arrival a long time ago, and what you would bring - something that possess great powers if used wisely. An amulet, perphaps?" "What the hell are you talking about?" asked Ragnarr with a note of threat in his voice. The commander laughed in the dark....
"Of course!" thought Meowman. "An amulet! Thats what they were hiding!" But he then fell into musings. "It must have been an exeptionally powerful one for Erunion to keep it secret so...Oh Great Gods...surely it's not...that amulet?" For although he had told no-one, one of the reasons his island had fell was that their champions were all abroad, searching for this amulet, thoguh they had gone further south, not north. "But how do these creatures know of it? There is either a spy on board, commuting with them by messenger, or there is a powerful mage, or legion of mages, on this island...with enough power to read the mind of an elf, and a powerful one at that..." But he fell out of his thoughts. "Concentrate on the here and now, Meowman," he thought, gathering the energy of his thoughts together to summon a blast of his element that may give them a small advantage should a battle arise...
*Might eyes gleamed at the anticipated battle and he assumed his battle stance.*
Erunion had listened in on Meowman's head. Something he really didn't like doing, but he had to as he didn't trust this one. Communicating telepathically with Meowman, Erunion said: "Of course they know the amulet is near, any mage with any real power could feel it, and know what it is." Quickly turning to the elves in front of him, Erunion replied in this elven tongue: "Worry not, friends, I mean you no harm. I was merely assuaging the worry of my friend here."
*Mights eyes flashed yellow for a few minutes then went back to normal. He started making random faces.*
[Erunion you can't read my mind! Ill tell you why later.]
{Got it. People can't read mine either. If they broke through my defenses they would fall unconscious... It's a spell that was cast upon me ages ago when I was working as a Naergothrendarin commando...}
"Come on now, don't lie. We know the truth. Give me the amulet here and now and you may leave unharmed from this place." spoke the commander. "Listen, you bloody fool, if I knew about this amulet of yours I would tell you. We're here to seek a person, Aeron Silverwind." Ragnarr's voice was icey and angry. The commander's smile faded away. "I shall have this magical object if I have to pull it out of your dead grasp." He turned to the ones around. "Slay them all." The guards lowered their heavy spears and started walking forth....
"Hold! Let not blood be shed yet, this man knows nothing of which you speak. You search for a dangerous item, one of which you have only heard. Fables, legends. Myths. Yet you dare threaten the possessors of such an item?" Erunion had been studying the emotions and the thoughts of several of the other elves. And he did not like what he saw. Erunion's voice grew threatening, and he himself seemed to grow, a sensation of power and menace went throughout the assembled group, seemingly growing in the air. Erunion then grabbed the amulet from where Septim was, and then the marble in the ground started to morph, to change. Out of the ground came two marble figures, seemingly statues of Naergothrendarin elves. Both drew stone blades, and marched towards the other Elves. One of the local Elves stepped forward and threw his spear at one of the marble figures, the figure caught the spear, twisted in mid-air and launched it into the leg of one of elf who threw it. Erunion looked around at his own group and spoke: "Run! Find Silverwind and run, you cannot stay here, and they must not gain this amulet! It must be destroyed before it's power falls into the hands of these people!"
*Might charged forward and grab the nearest man in mithril. He grabbed his head and twisted the head off. Might growled with his eyes flashing yellow and yelled a wolfish cry.*
*Might goes on a rampage killing and slashing through the "Elves"*
Revenge stood next to Erunion, not to back down " Get out of here!" Erunion exclaimed " I shall stand by you my new Elven friend" replied Revenge He drew his long stone sword, proudness crossed his face and swept through his body, his body shuddered and and bulged as it did in the cave in the cave before " So be it " Revenge muttered to Erunion " Go and get Silverwind, Ill stay with Erunion well hold this lot, find him" Revenge charge into the elf with the spear in his leg, Revenge brought his granite sword down through his neck slicing his head clean from his shoulders, a blast of energy flew past and knocked another to the floor, Erunion wasnt known as a powerful elf for anything after all He was replaced by another elf, as Erunion battled to his side, Revenge engaged battle with the armed Elves, this was a battle that would eventually cost him his life....... Meanwhile the othes went after Silverwind.....
[Revenge, Let other people post and don't play their characters. Ignore that last post.]
The two marble elves seemed to be living, breathing creatures. They were under the command of Erunion, and concentrated their skill on defending him and Revenge. The other elves lacked the power to destroy these things, and started to run for help. The torches lining the streets leapt out of the walls and slew them, leaving none of them alive. The amulet which had been glowing fiercely faded, and all these things dissolved back into what they had been. "Revenge, get me to the ship, my legs won't move. I haven't used an artifact of this power in far too long."
[ No dont, its an important part, I have given my life to support Erunion, you lot go find Silverwind ^^ Its been nice RPing in this thread, thanks for letting me join, on the way back after you find silverwind, I will post for the last time, something heroic lol ]
Revenge slashed into a few elves around him and moved over to Erunion only being able to protect himself with a small magical barrier around himself Revenge slashed into the nearest elf before hoisting his Elven friend to his shoulder " Youve put on a few pounds have you not" Revenge chuckled with Erunion in the moment As Revenge jogged as fast as he could to the boat a Elven tipped aroow flew into Revenge's back, penetrating his right kidney Revenge screamed in pain but he could not fall now, not with his Friend in need of assistence His skin on his back grew black, the arrow had poison and black elven magic spread into his blood stream, Revenge was in pure agony and managed to get Erunion to the bat regardless, he collapsed to the ground, nearly unconscious, his skin was almost all black, the ' Virus ' had spread to his heart, Revenge went into a fit, dying infront of Erunion, perhpas the Amulet could help him, It could be very dangerous, even fatal " Do what you can... Im dying anyway... Any cccchhhance tryy itt....." Revenge croaked Blood dripped out his mouth as he lay on the deck.....
The Amulet could rearrange matter, and that was what was needed. Erunion sat there, calling for help and using the amulet to reverse the work of the virus, attempting to destroy it and clean what it had done. It seemed to be working.

Despite Erunions words, the company had obviously stayed and fought beside their friend. At the first signs of battle, Meowman had let forth a blast of the wind, sending 2 of the elf-creatures flying into the stone wall, head first, breaking their skulls. With the help of Erunions creations, the battle was soon won, with all the things either dead, dieing or fleeing. However, Meowman remembered the words he had murmered to Erunion when chance had brought them together during the mad crash of steel; "Of course they could! But how did they feel it from far off, as they obviously expected us... there is a mage of considerable power on this island. And do not be so hasty to peirce my thought in future, friend. When you attack my brain, you weaken your own, sending in traces of information with your probe... I can read these, though I cannot break your main defences." After the battle was over, Meowman looked around, and saw Erunion leaning over Revenge with the amulet. "Oh no!" exclaimed Meowman. "The usage really has weakened him! He even forgot to pull out the arrow before healing the wound... and now he's using the amulet again! That could kill him, too..." Meowman started running towards the pair, as fast as his small legs would carry him.
*Might howled and jumped on a roof and leaped away from the group.* "RAH!!!!!!!!"
{No Meowman, I'm not entering your mind, I am using a spell to enter your mind. It protects my own while I can still read yours.}
