Negatives

In english, a double negative forms a positive. In some languages, such as Russian, a double negative is still a negative. However, there is no language wherein a double positive can form a negative.

Plural and Singular

Verbs have to "agree" with the noun. If the noun is plural, the verb must agree with it. For example:

The cow was stupid.

If you wanted to say "the cows ...", you would have to change was to were:

The cows were stupid.


For most nouns, add an "-es" if it ends in an "e" or an "x" (while dropping the "e"), or an "-s" otherwise. Some irregular nouns:

Goose -> Geese
Sheep -> Sheep
etc.
