21:02:11 Jun 20th 08 - Mr. Atreides: Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to help me out with an IRC problem. I was basically inactive for a while, and I haven't logged on to IRC in ages. Sooooooo, I finally finish up with school and I'm like "hey! why don't i go check up on VU!" So i try to go in IRC using the website (as I always have). First problem, I type in my password, and it's "incorrect." Now, I am ABSOLUTELY certain that it's right, so I get confused. Then, suddenly, I get disconnected which is odd. So I try reconnecting, but supposedly the nickname Atreides is already in use. Now, does this mean that my IRC thing has been evilly hijacked!!?? And how can I log on with a different nickname? Sorry it was so long, but thanks for any help!
08:05:19 Jun 21st 08 - Duke Epymon: errr I'm not the IRC expert but doesn't your name get unregistered if you're inactive for a while? try registering your nickname again and if it's already in use then either A. someone hijacked your name or B. you forgot your pass :P so just register a new nick if that happens
