17:24:27 Jun 11th 08 - Mr. Killstone: i want the celtics to win but the way the series is set up (2 games at celtics 3 at lakers 2 at celtics) puts the celtics at a disadvantage. if the celtics cant come away with a win in one of those away games there wil lbe major stress pput on them back in boston. but the celtics can win if they shoot better than last night and gaurd kobe better :)
17:31:58 Jun 11th 08 - Wolflord Karac: kobe is unguardable, the only way to guard him is if the NBA allows the celtics to play their entire starters, and bench at the same time and all 10 of them guard kobe, and then he'd still score 40 points. that said, GO LAKERS!!! but celtics will win =(

18:11:30 Jun 11th 08 - Duke Drakos: Go lay down Karac. Celtics will win. The only reason the Lakers won game 3 is due to their calculated whining and complaining about the foul calls in game 2. Predictably the ref's made several make up calls in game 3. And the point Killstone makes about the series games is valid. The teams play all year for homecourt advantage in the playoffs so you have the pivotal game 5 and 7 at home in the normal 2-2-2-1 game set-up. That works great in the first few series of playoffs. But then for some unknown, inexplicable reason, the NBA has the championship series go 2-3-2...which is total bs.
18:14:14 Jun 11th 08 - Mr. Killstone: it is it totally takes away the advantage of home court. sure you have more home games but if you mess up one of those first two games at home then your practicably screwed. even if you dont then chances are the series will come out 3-2 away team winning by the time you get back home putting a lot of stress on the home team for those final two games
