It is pretty poor that we cant handle two feet of snow. college was cancelled on monday and tuesday for me, now its just raining.. :( | ||||
lol not even two feet, it snowed at the maximum few inches where i live and everyone was complaining about the snow... | ||||
lol it's because britain isn't used to getting much snow so we're not prepared for it. Countries like poland, sweden, canada etc. EXPECT heavy snow falls and have heated rail-ways and bigger stocks of grit-salt. Besides, monday was the biggest snow-fall for 18 years in my area (about 8-10 inches had settled), some other areas it was 25 years, you could hardly expect us to be ready for that.
