The temperature
23:59:48 Jul 30th 09 - Mr. Arthur Dent:

I was just wondering, is the weather as bad in other places of the US or the world as it is here? Cause yesterday in Seattle it reached 109 degrees F, not air conditioning.

00:00:53 Jul 31st 09 - Mr. Vuggy:

I don't go outside much, so I wouldn't know. Lol jk, It reaches the 100+'s in Texas everyday....

00:04:05 Jul 31st 09 - Lord Stewie Griffin:

lol im from vancouver..and yeah it reached bout 35 deg. Celcius here yesterday and today....im boiling hot rite now..

00:06:17 Jul 31st 09 - Endless Happy Meals:

00:08:02 Jul 31st 09 - Sir Pubeguin The Hairy Cheezburger:

00:08:25 Jul 31st 09 - Mr. Kongdust:

the weather in Ottawa has been mostly crappy, we have had rain almost everyday so far this summer =(

00:26:59 Jul 31st 09 - Mr. Piece Maker:

Apparently there were sightings of the sun in Ireland for a few days this summer.  Global warming is getting pretty serious for us.

00:41:03 Jul 31st 09 - Mr. Pointbreak:

Ha Ha Ha Mr Piece maker dont tell lies I live there thats a myth we dont get sunshine in Ireland because the ducks wouldnt survive without all the rain.

As they say if you want a sunny holiday go to a sunny country
if you want a rainy holiday come to Ireland

peak time of heavy rain between June - July and hey dont forget your umbrella and raincoat when your packing guys.

00:48:40 Jul 31st 09 - Mr. Arthur Dent:

Ha

@Vuggy, I was just in Texas, it is very hot outside, but you guys have air-conditioning everywhere. When I went there, it rained like 4 times in 3 days. Aint rained here in Seattle (except once) for a month.

01:01:02 Jul 31st 09 - Lord Stewie Griffin:

u a Mariners fan?

02:01:12 Jul 31st 09 - Mr. Arthur Dent:

Yep, but they haven't been doing well lately :( what about you?

02:06:34 Jul 31st 09 - Lord Cuba Libre:

New York has only seen one day without rain in about 4 weeks, its depressing

02:08:04 Jul 31st 09 - Mr. Arthur Dent:

haha, I wish it was that way for us, all our grass is yellow now :(

02:10:08 Jul 31st 09 - Endless Happy Meals:

move out to Bellevue, we still get lots of rain every month... and plenty of green grass

funny how a few miles makes a difference

02:13:59 Jul 31st 09 - Mr. Arthur Dent:

ugh, yes. I actually went out to the coast last weekend to camp on an island, it freaking thunder-stormed on me!

03:09:11 Jul 31st 09 - Sir Penor The Overwhelming:

10:15:00 Jul 31st 09 - Sir Marius:

20:35:08 Jul 31st 09 - Mr. Vuggy:

@Vuggy, I was just in Texas, it is very hot outside, but you guys have air-conditioning everywhere. When I went there, it rained like 4 times in 3 days. Aint rained here in Seattle (except once) for a month.

That's cuz our state is amazing. People stereotype (not really that true though..) that Texans are all cold-hearted, oil-pumping, rednecks. That is such a lie haha. But hey, if the oil keeps the economy up to give me air conditioning, I'm cool with that! :P and you got lucky when you came, it usually doesn't rain as much, we did have like a week of raining recently though.. =(

22:52:18 Jul 31st 09 - Mr. Arthur Dent:

I have 3 family members in Texas. You are right, people stereotype Texas a lot, and incorrectly. But you have to admit you guys have a lot more obese people than us. But yay, you guys are republican like me! :D

01:11:46 Aug 1st 09 - Mr. Vuggy:

I'm not republican or democratic. I'm not any party, for that matter. I pick whoever best suits me. ^^

01:14:17 Aug 1st 09 - Mr. Arthur Dent:

awww, but I thought all Texans were republican! lol

meh that's my hometown, on the mornington peninsula.

certainly didn't expect to see anyone from there!

right now i am in Tashkent Uzbekistan....it has been 45-47 degrees C for the last 2 weeks. Brutal. It is supposed to get this hot(up to even 50) but what is unusual this year(lucky me) is the humidity. Also we DONT have airconditioning the beer is warm, the coke is warm etc etc.

05:52:27 Aug 3rd 09 - Mr. Arthur Dent:

Ah, that sucks

05:57:07 Aug 3rd 09 - Sir Penor The Overwhelming:

I've been in slightly above 50C weather and it really does suck miserably

06:04:38 Aug 3rd 09 - Mr. Arthur Dent:

I am American so we use stupid Fahrenheit. Is that 122 degrees fahrenheit?!?! That is seriously sucky man... Our hottest is 109 or 43C

04:51:20 Aug 4th 09 - Sir Penor The Overwhelming:

I'm american too.
I have this bookmarked for all my conversions cause it has sooo much

05:44:03 Aug 4th 09 - Mr. Justin:

Haha Opportunity thankfully i live up here in Tenino. It was only about 109 at the hottest at my house. BUt thats because i live on the river and its a lot cooler then other places :P
