i would advise me not to take back my words? in my experiance the worst naps ive had in terms of actually working together and not pulling crap on each other have been Aby-lgc and ret-*beep*s.. you can hardly call this a smooth nap can you :)

I would advise you to take back your words DLO.

Retribution has existed for 4 eras, including this one. The first 3 eras, Retribution was our enemy. Retribution died all 3 times (the last 2 not by our hand, but still by our design in some manner), while my kingdom survived and even prospered in those 3 eras. This era, Retribution is doing extremely well (though we aren't too shabby either). I wonder what made the difference.... probably the NAP had something to do with it :)

oh my dear god... so you're the almighty reason to our existence?! we're just pure crap and we were lucky to even NAP you?! The only reason you guys won the 2 era's before this one (not counting our first era) was because you guys had put up the whole *beep*ing map to fight us after you guys got killed.

I would never ever imply that Retribution is crap. I acknowledge and respect Retribution as a kingdom, and the qualities of its individual players. If anything, Retribution would have my candidate for MVP for this era, Sloth.

So my apologies if I gave the wrong impression. My reply was a direct rebuttal to DLO, and in that, I mean to say that in NAPing one another's kingdom, my kingdom did not get killed OOP this era, and Retribution itself did not lose the era. Therefore, the NAP was extremely beneficial to both parties.

A NAP is a NAP. Its main context is that you do not attack one another. Other terms than need time to be worked on... a relationship is not built in one night, a marriage in one day; similarly, to build a good NAP, especially between 2 kingdoms of power, needs time and effort to achieve the necessary understanding and chemistry. The very fact that there was mutual benefit in this NAP between Retribution and Nubs, despite 3 eras of bad blood, and despite the various misunderstandings throughout this era, goes to show that a base does exist for something better in the future. Whether the parties want to build upon that base..... is up to them.

That would be very nice.. I'm actually very curious to see what you guys have. I had an estimation of Sloths troops from a while ago. But once the race for the top actually started, I kinda lost track..

Firstly, I would like to inform ya'll that I started farming 3 weeks ago, I started by filling out my mines and building a couple of new 90kers(wich I didnt finish fully). Since then(started on jan 9th) I increase my land by almost *4 and my income by about *5(not counting food and wood in wich it increased somewhere around ten and twenty times from where I started).

Then the plague hit when I was going to start pumping so I had to sit that out before I could amass enough peasants. But when it was done I started cranking out troops. By now Sloth was well ahead of me in points, but I had atleast twice his land and income and what ultimatly made the difference in the end: a much higher population of peasants.

Yesterday I turned almost all of the remaining ones into slingers and farmers.

And here is my final troopcount(rounded down):
Farmers: 400.000
Slingers: 3.000.000
Ponies: 750.000
MUs: 50.000
Advents: 50.000

If we are lucky, perhaps Sloth would share his troopcount?

in the end i only managed a poor 670k swords 470k archers 40k knights (thx to dark for killing the other 30k) and 20k catas (again thx for killing some)
