00:18:44 Jul 12th 10 - Mr. Petite Penois: Spain didn't change their style of play to face Holland. Holland did change their style of play to face Spain. Spain attempted to play their attractive passing game. Holland attempted to break up Spain's attractive passing game. It wasn't a fun match, but that was because Holland made it that way. Not neccessarily a bad thing, it's smart. But you can't say Spain was playing the "park the bus infront of the goal" tactic, that was Holland and Holland only.
10:37:27 Jul 12th 10 - Mr. Legend: Penois did you exatly watch the match? The referee saw in everything of Holland a yellow card later a red 1 but when spain did it was only a free kick for holland and some words. And those Spain guys fall so d*mn fast when you touch them with your pinky they will fall and cry on the ground. And Robben had 2 nice changes but blow it because he want it to be perfect. But in the end Spain played better even with all those crying babies on the ground. And yes I know Robben was also a crying baby but that's only because he plays in Germany where they practise those things.

17:01:42 Jul 12th 10 - Mr. Petite Penois: Why are you Dutch complaining? 1-0 to Spain is a fair result. If the ref had been fair, you would of lost De Jong in the first half and Bommel before full time. And the scoreline would of been much more humilating then.
17:14:24 Jul 12th 10 - Mr. Legend: that is typical dutch blame the referee, we do that in every sport if we lose and the ref did some things we blame him. I agree about De Jong that was just a attempt to kill that player. Bommel is just always around the ref to kiss his feet so he won't get a card for his fouls. But you must agree the dutch did some nasty stuff and we got a card but when the spanish did something it was only 'come here I wanna talk' and then nothing further.
17:30:44 Jul 12th 10 - Mr. Petite Penois: I agree, the Spanish were treated lightly. But that was probably because the referee felt he had been kind to Holland by not sending off 2 players, and so Spain were treated better to compensate. IMO, the Dutch played far more viciously. They were the ones to change their tactics to do their best to kill the game off.
17:42:23 Jul 12th 10 - Mr. Legend: That was mostly first half of the game in my eyes. second half it changed and they both could play there game a little bit better.
04:18:04 Jul 13th 10 - Mr. Adakis: every game spain played looked like that. They won 4 games in a row 1-0.....and looked just as bad winning those as they did the final. that was their game, nederland did nothing to change their game. unfortunately its not pretty, but for spain this time around the style was extremely effective (helps having a goalie & defense that play out of their minds but make it look effortless).

15:25:47 Jul 13th 10 - Mr. Heroix: It's just coincidence that Spain didn't score more goals. They were way better than all their opponents, had a lot more chances to score, more attacks, more ball control.
17:57:38 Jul 13th 10 - Mr. Jango Fett: Its been two days since the game so I think everyone is done talking about it. Its over and there is nothing we can do to change the score.
